What if reps were able to rep enemy units and buildings?
roweboat replied to Radec's topic in Renegade X
I for one, would invite this total chaos with open arms -
Consider I command quite often.. I should really set this up lol I'm still doing it old school and basically playing piano on my keyboard hitting all the wacky key combos to get off a few support powers

@isupreme also keep in mind, that these games are being developed by a global team. Laws / terminology / understanding may be different from region to region. It's fair to say that Totem Arts, at least in regards to Renegade-X & Firestorm; will always be a "not for profit" organization. (as highlighted by Sonny) a "non-profit" is really more a legal term that allows larger organizations such charities and Churches avoid federal taxes. So just to be clear. Just because the organization is not a "nonprofit", does automatically mean it is "for profit"

There are actually quite a few places mines can be put that cause them to hide under collision. I'll admit I use a few of them to my advantage. But to be fair. I wish the problem had been fixed years ago. The game engine is janky though. So some sort of work around would have to be implemented im sure.

One suggestion was maybe it's an anti-virus blocking the install.

hm i think the launcher is the only way to get the latest version

i've had that error randomly before. have you tried restarting your computer and loading up renegade x again? Worst case, uninstall everything renegade x related in the uninstall manager, then also go to ~Program Files (x86)\Renegade X and delete that whole folder afterwards. and try fresh install once more. unfortunately in rare cases the installer is buggy.

Back in my day... There were enough players to fill enough servers that you could choose if you wanted to play Marathon or AOW =|

Hud scaling should increase player names size
roweboat replied to HuskerDoggo's topic in Feedback & Bug Reports
unfortunately not all hud elements scale properly, yes. I can only hope this will be fixed some day ='( Player names, and commander markers I think are the only elements that don't scale yet. Unfortunately those are two of the most important bits of information if one is commanding ^^' -
Crate vehicles should say that when you see them.
roweboat replied to isupreme's topic in Feedback & Bug Reports
I forget what causes it, but sometimes it will say stolen vehicle, even when it wasn't actually stolen. -
It does allow you to control them, but only in skirmish for example if you Q spot a bot, you can have them stop or attack

great times =D

Very disappointed the conversation devolved so quickly. The question posed is valid and should be discussed respectfully. Feel free to open another topic to bring ideas together - if you can avoid ad hominem attacks and naysaying.

I only played public games for years, still enjoy the dynamics and gameplay. Finally been playing PUGs a bit regularly now, but I do find the time frame for them a bit difficult sometimes, since it is early afternoon for me. And honestly 3-5 hours is alot of time needed to dedicate to it for a fair play session. its a great time when it all works out though =D

Once I fell into a rock in Whiteout near GDI base, trapped inside this bolder; felt like Matthew McConaughey at the end of Inception
