what did you use to record?

Sadly we lost that battle, so we stayed on the strip on endgame watching as GDI flatten us to the ground (I even took a selfie)

Truth to be told. I was one of the guy rigging flaming vehicles, but usually with proxy for my own Stank and other vechs. Rather pointless since it ain't that effective, except for ensuring infantry kills. Chaos brought this up when we argue about this on Walls today. I don't see this as OP and game breaking because... well, you can only hit once at the cost of your vehicle. Flame Tank can even destroy Mammoth with ease if it's not backed up, and Flame soldier can actually take on a careless mammy. I consider it OP if you can destroy structures with it, which I was told not possible this way I didn't know if it was allowed or not. I'm not from OldRen so I don't know how flaming vehicles actually results (can someone tell me btw? So we can do effect comparison). As far as I play, only few have complains (2, I think?) and including me, 4 people have applied this tactics, perhaps more. I did this out of boredom *shrugs* once in awhile, I want to do some unorthodox things Anyway, yes Truxa, it was RvE. I guess we were too bored and too hampered on Walls (BAR vs Strip) Thus Proxy man's father was born (RvE got tech from Crate later on)

I've conducted a little research. Apparently 7 to 10 C4 can destroy a mammy. But the Buggy needs to actually hit the mammy, and the C4s have to be right on the front. If the buggy explodes upon enemy fire, the C4 will disarm itself, leaving the enemy tank that the buggy rams unscathed This proves to be a very risky tactic. The success rate is 50/50

That would be 3 of them (Jobless, Svernorp, and HesH, last one was listed as Mods). They were present when it happens. I even chased HesH when I was infantry proxy'ed. It was no issue probably because he killed me before I can blow him up, but I did blow Svernorp up with that tactic. I don't think HesH saw proxy or C4'ed vehicles (though I did leave proxy'ed HMW in Nod's base at Goldrush. I forgot if he rejoined or not.) Svernorp is the same case We did use this tactic only when mines are surplus, so no team hampering in that case
-
You can stick C4 as many as possible, but you have to consider Mine limit too. EKT runs with high limit, so this is only possible there Proxy also works, and also applicable to infantry. The drawback is most Proxy'd infantries will shoot themselves if the Proxy'er put mines on their face (guns hit yourself...) and you cannot get your orders registered in PT, which means only friendly can repair you. And then mines will mostly hurt you, but not to the point of killing in my case Useful if your teammates want to farm, Svernorp from EKT didn't seem to comment anything despite the fact that our Proxy'er does lotsa survey votes about Proxy hats for Nod infantries

I became a proxy-man, should I shame myself for that?

if it's too dark, in skirmish you can either press F7 or F8 to change rendering mode. There was unlit mode too

Ooooo Jobless said it was only frowned upon sooo, yeah. Ok, you win this one, then Chaos

Bypassing "Infantry" Path with Tanks
Handepsilon replied to Handepsilon's topic in Feedback & Bug Reports
"Haaaax!!!! DX" like that? -
I will add : lowering resolution will greatly improve performance
-
You're asking for a way to view the model, I'm asking for the model itself, am I right?

Apparenatly, there are some maps where you can actually insert vehicles in the infantry path Lakeside Step 1 : Find the cavern at the center of the field filled with Tiberium Crystal. Bypass the trees carefully Step 2 : Pass the cavern through the river carefully. Should not take too much effort Step 3 : You're there, from then on, you can either follow the trail through the trees, or push your way through the waterfall. You can do that, almost. My arty got stuck. Do this if you're as stubborn as the RenX harvester Step 4 : As you arrive at enemy's backdoor, you can shell their structures, but you cannot go inside. The only way to get out is trace your way back out Applicable to every vehicles EXCEPT Mammoth, for its' obviously wide size X-Mountain Aaah, this new map with all its' collection of glitches. Apparently there's another that might or might not break the game. Untested to all tanks, but might be applicable to every tanks Step 1 : Search for the spot nearby the barricade by the bridge from Nod's side (GDI's side is still affected by vehicle blocker) GDI's side is blocked Nod's side however, is not Step 2 : Cross the bridge and then find some collision-glitched rocks if you drive something as sizeable as a mammy. Should not be hard Step 3 : Have fun shelling enemy's structure! Humvee can apparently enter the bunker on the trail, as shown here As bonus, I've stacked 5 Mammoths on the bridge. The last one was stuck on the stairs, so I had to change the gravity to 1 to lift it up to the air briefly (be careful!) Do not use for exploit. I'm just doing this for the fun of it

Apparently error of mesh placements
-
Now that would sound nice. Actually If devs allow it, I wanna do some mod with the character models (L4D2 comes in mind) of course I would credit the devs if they do allow it

Renegade logic Fully armored young soldier : 100 health / 100 armor An old doctor with only a lab coat : 250 health / 100 armor Seems like Mobius is having some workout

[2.0a] Purchase Terminal, buttons flicker
Handepsilon replied to N3tRunn3r's topic in Feedback & Bug Reports
I have everything ultra and enabled, yet my res is 640x480, no AA, and no V-Sync. I'm not getting this. If you try copying my settings and still getting this, that might be your driver or your computer -
plus Walls freezes almost every time explosion happens, leading to disconnection. That's another issue though
-
Btw, if this is purely for fun, try this console command combination -god -setspeed 1000 -setgravity -100 then you'll have a shinobi or the Flash in RenX. Apparently 'setjumpz' won't work, and if you hit 1 to select secondary weapon, your speed will reset for some reason, meaning you'll have to 'setspeed' again Also, if for some reason you want to lift up your harvester, use 'setgravity 100' or any positive number. 'setgravity 0' will return gravity to normal (-800)

Oh, right that! That sounds pretty good too actually. Love how Sydney shots Havoc for no good reason (btw, Sydney, not Hotwire, right?) But btw, if it would be recreated, the complete version of the buildings should be made, right? GDI PP and Ref had a lower level in tutor

why i keep looking like its firing the the left
Handepsilon replied to coolme's topic in Feedback & Bug Reports
I do, finds that it's easier to aim at first person Anyway, I think renegadexplayer here is being immature. I mean like, nobody even starts to bring this up whenever I play. And I've been playing for about a month or two. Stating that the game will shutdown just because of a glitch that isn't really that game breaking is just... I don't know, ridiculous. Now if we talk about a carbine being OP, Whiteout arty cover being imba, ladder bug on xmountain that brings you to top of wf, now that's the 'turnoff glitch'. Not that I really talk much about it It's okay to complain, but don't take it too far, man. Besides : 'beta' -
Why do I have to stare at logos every time I load it up?
Handepsilon replied to epicelite's topic in Renegade X
In PlayStation's case, that might be loading up the bios AS the logo playd I found that UDK's intro works like this (I can actually skip the Unreal Engine logo on SonicGDK's level if my computer has fully loaded the map) -
Wait wait, in Island, WF is right outside the tunnel? I thought Bar is much closer to the tunnel
-
and then we'll re-talk about non-UE3 licensee limitations and all. Would be cool, but you gotta need license that would be too expensive (Pretty sure it wasn't that UDK license)
-
Very hard to explain but... As you can see, I'm nowhere inside the volume. I figure it might just be postprocessing volume but... weeeell... (type Show Volumes command in single player)
