  1. Bots are only scary on Walls or Whiteout if there's only 3 of you and 37 bots are massing to the base with vehicles, mainly because MCT kills them and they Soldier rush at the very beginning and Ramjet rush till the end. Bots have an completely awkward idea for rushing. But rest assured, they're the best sniper/anti-sniper
  2. Login system shouldn't be hard. It's the integration to the server that could be a problem
  3. Ok, ok... let's break it down Flaming vehicles issue : - It can take out relatively strong, expensive vehicles with low price - It only requires flamvech to connect to enemy vehicles - Buggies and humvees is too fast for tanks to back up Redeeming qualities - It is only effective and efficient when done with buggies and humvees. Even humvees aren't too effective compared to Buggy, where it possesses tusks on the front ideal for C4 placements - Requires sneaky tactics and non-open areas to actually pull it off with no problem. Very risky to do on open wide space, as drivers usually have 0.75 seconds to blow a heavily damaged buggy and kill enemy vehicles at the sa.e time - Deployment is relatively long. Requires the buggy/humvee to be hidden from peering eyes, creeping hands, and stray shots. Placement needs to be strategically on the front - As damaging as it is, it cannot be used against buildings, which happens to NOT take C4 splash damages
  4. Probably because pseudo-mining exists after you lost adv. engi. Probably
  5. It would actually be harder if your buggy can't sprint. How about decreasing speed for vehicles that houses C4s? That would bring a new problem though : Engi class gets more reason to be called 'OP' by getting the ability to slow vehicles down
  6. uberly confirmed
  7. So, when's the last time you had to PAY for vehicles in Battlefield? Flaming buggy cost 300 to make, and right now for 300 you can take down a 1500 credit unit...instantly. Second, on a map like Islands it is VERY easy for a buggy to just already be too close for you to do anything about it. Those fuckers are fast, and tight corners with lots of cover means they're literally too fast for you to do anything about them. You can't back away fast enough and it is physically impossible to kill them before they connect. Why is this still an arguement? I believe they already are making remote c4 a personal limit. Meaning, flaming buggies are limited to taking down possibly an MRLS and doing a good chunk of a Med Tank but not killing any tank in 1 hit. Depends on the limit. I think 3-4 would do a Med.
  8. Fun fact, when going man o man o, even Field AGT cannot take down a shifting buggy before it hugs the wall. Buggy is the most maneuverable vehicle that will fuck your shit up in the most bizarre way possible (for example, trampling GDI infantries in a single buggy rush while transporting a tech in). I guess I'd be fine too if that buggy can only take down a med at max. but if you're lucky or smart, 7 C4 flaming buggy can actually take down a Mammoth. You have to put it on the front so the C4 would be underneath the Mammy's hull to get a satisfying result. Even so, that's quite broken. Also, how about flaming infantry? Proxy vest is imba at the body of a good sneaky runner (although you'll be deprived from accessing PT, )
  9. Question, is the dev working on a way to prevent flaming vehicles? I'm neither pro or contra, but seeing as the tactic is frowned upon...
  10. Hard to call it a fault on devs end. Todays machines have hard drives well over 100gb in capacity. Anyone with a decent PC and some small knowledge about handling a PC shuld know that thay should atleast keep 15% of that HDD drive empty for defragging purposes. 15% of 100gb = 15gb which should be plenty of space to be temporarily being used to install a game on another drive. Even an old 50gb HDD (which should have 7.5gb free) should be enough. No, I mean about the lack of warning messages in the installer
  11. Actually it could be. I believe in today's match, I've got completely refunded after nuking myself as a snipet. It's a maybe, but still If you're lucky, you can blow some folks and even get more money
  12. One more thing, it's exploitable for point-whoring Recently found out that if you kill someone, and this includes yourself, you'll get money and point based on the price of the thing you've killed. Free inf gives you 100. So if you buy a sniper, then go nuke yoursrlf, you'll get 500 for that
  13. Fault on dev's end maybe? If freeing space helps, it might be true
  14. RvE and I just recently surfed on Orca. RvE was a soldier while I became a hottie. SAM site on Whiteout brought my health to 75 health and 0 armor. Eventually RvE and I fell off the Orca, with RvE getting stuck on a rock, but since GDI was winning anyway we won the match easy before I can unstuck RvE
  15. What RvE said, 2-4%. best use Strikes against enemy units rather than buildings. Sadly they don't work like the RTS C&C
  16. Temporary files usually get stored on C no matter what. but there should be some kind of warning though. How much free space on your Drive C?
  17. Also, annoyance tactic, which is not so effective for direct attacks, yet still annoying and possibly distracting Buy a Stank. Wait in a certain place for incoming vehicle, preferrably full APC. When it comes, ram its' front as hard as you could and watch as his APC flips slightly, making him unable to attack you. Chances are he's gonna try going around. If it happens, ram him again. Warn your fellow teammates as you do so they can prepare an actual defense. Chances are, you're gonna get destroyed, but at least you've messed the rush's momentum Also works on med or MRLS, barely effective against humvee due to its' recovery speed As for Mammy, your Stank will just go through it. To prevent cry of exploiting, do not fire your missiles. Just watch as your opppnent tries to get away from you and utterly too confused to watch for incoming actual assault. Every engi trying to repair the mammy has to watch for your tank smacking up their face You can also use this to play Jaws with enemy infantry. Just keep your profiles low and keep your distance
  18. Oh, also, consider this Proxy Man : When still having residues on mine limit. Place proxy on a fellow teammates (preferably those with frees), and have him dash towards enemy infantries. Watch as you get kills for every infantry getting blown up by your mobile proxies. Nasty yet slightly difficult considering your proxy man has to chase his target, can't access PT in any way and possibly can't shoot (I actually killed myself with my own ramjet when someone put a C4 on my face as test)
  19. I'd call my lappie a weird baby rather than a dinosaur But I feel ya, isupreme
  20. Press F while aiming, it makes the blockings rather ignorable. Rockets are another story It's a good building sieger though It would be amazing if we can stack mammy on an APC. Mammoth that travels 10 times faster
  21. Mammy tower is actually OP too. Just sayin'
  22. Yeah, me included, Li. Few days back in Mesa, our Nod base is getting pushed back from the cave, so I planted a beacon on the area by the tanks as SBH. Whether or not it was because of the beacon, the sizeable tank forces from the GDI pulled back. (I screamed 'FOR THE BROTHERHOOD' in 10 seconds beacon time) Suffice to say, the nuke penetrated the ceiling like a butter and hit my head The once-pressured Nod then launched counter assault and won the match
  23. Oooo, scratch that. No one has found that yet Damn, I struggled to get there
  24. I know,. I also prefer 4th. If you put them at stairs, someone can be airlifted to the right spot and enter the tower anyway
  25. And risk Orca or chinook dropping someone there? Yeah right
