  1. @Luhrian, just put a blocking volume along the ceiling of the tunnels and in the properties click the 'block camera' box. Them trees might be the cause of an FPS drop, it could also be because that is the direction of the GDI base and you haven't laid out any post-processing volumes throughout the map just yet? I'd still say its the trees though.
  2. New msg for the bot to say. "If you repeatedly experience harassment by an individual and provide proof, we'll gladly deal with repeat offenders. This isn't a technical challenge; we just need reports and proof. (just screenshot your chat)" Followed by: "Harassment is distinctly different from general remarks. Harassment is repeated. Harassment is targeted. Harassment is personal. If you're being personally targeted, repeatedly, that is harassment, and that is not condoned in any form." Have this appear in the in-game chat via bot every 15 minutes. Maybe add a section to these forums for such posts to be posted?   3. More like this. I don't do giving up or abandoning projects, I treat them how Mikasa treats Eren in Attack on Titan. Frostbite will get finished.

As Frostbite continues to have issues (and since I have been so persistent in refusing to give up on Frostbite) I have started a complete fresh and used what I've learned from numerous mistakes to create a smaller, ideal proportionate map. Introducing CNC-Toxicity. 3 Buildings per team, 1 Team silo, [Destructible] Potentially either a Comm. C. or a Silo to capture in the middle. Both routes for both sides are infantry only to an extent. There will be numerous infantry tunnels through the middle of the map. I may include defensive buildings such as Guard Towers and Gun Turrets.
  5. The idea that banning people is not an option because the playerbase is low is the most counterproductive excuse I've heard regarding these matters, but banning is all it would take.
  6. EDIT: .rar file corrupted!! @Luhrian Repackage and reupload your map, everything but the .upk file failed to archive properly. You did realise that it is possible to just click on an item in the list and then just click the 'delete' button, right? Those are some odd looking ripples.

  8. I have shaped collisions around that area, it is odd that it is accessible at all and I was sure I used the correct type of collisions settings for the volumes

  10. Catching yourself by damaging a building or a vehicle is at least plausible, sometimes there is no way around that.

  12. Thommy's TrainingYard map had its 'ghost town' PT cameras at an accessible location on an older version, meaning players could see other players via the PT screen. Was pretty amusing.
  13. I Alt-Dragged the area around the WF, but I don't even think there is a volume which would hinder the repgun or timed c4s, not to my knowledge anyway. What is weird is this repgun issue carries on beyond the WF to the outside, but only exists to be an issue when in third-person.
  14. If you're in first person, the rep gun goes at its normal range but in third person this is not the case. Remote C4s were able to be planted on an MCT in the WF, but not timed C4s. This is very strange. These findings based on the latest version (again) version.
  15. Tomb had a really good back and forth, when the refinery died that made defending the tib side much easier but that triple nuke. Hot dayum.

  18. This only extends to vehicles if you steal your enemies vehicle and your enemy doesn't target you. An automatic outline on your allies seems really intrusive and could either make any form of covert operations harder or easier. If you look at how simply colourful the original Ren is those yellows blend with all the other simple colours, in RenX those engineers stand out but not every character on GDI can be like that. Most (I think all) of Nod is black, grey and/or red, if you are on Nod and don't see those colours on the player ahead then it is an enemy. When you point your gun at anyone they get a box around them, clear enough indication.

  20. This is a long shot but here goes... Are you running any anti-virus software by any chance? Or is there any kind of strict firewall in operation?
  21. This forum keeps using cookies and there isn't enough milk to go around! This makes me sad and bursts my precious bubble of the superficial reality I needed to keep out of my depression, @Agent could you perhaps provide some remedy to ease this dreadful suffering?

  25. I like the levels this map has, looks like this will be really fun to play on.
