  1. I'm pretty sure it's from original renegade. If no dev can confirm this, I will gladly post the audio files here if you'd like.
  2. 50% of players don't use it, so why make it more difficult for people to get in game? If anything, it would dissuade people from playing.
  3. We didn't change the map, that would require us to upload a new Lakeside and you to download it. Unless you downloaded a new one?
  4. It does harm people. Why force people to download another program just do you can get a rec? If they want it, they'll download steam themselves.
  5. People shouldn't have to? What's the point honestly. There's literally 0 need to make things more complicated.
  6. Is the exact message if you guys were wondering.
  7. Turn on Dynamic Lighting.
  8. A mod no longer, fortunately.
  9. Are you having this issue now?
  10. It's offline at the moment, we are moving hosts.
  11. That's true, but extremely ineffective at best
  12. When we get to 24/7 active players, let me know
  13. Not sure why anyone would want that, though.
  14. You don't have to use Steam, unless that's some setting with Jupiter that I've never heard of. If you're on Discord, Cronambs is the owner and you can mention him or PM him through there.
  15. It's actually hosted in Dallas as I found out I just saw you join a few minutes ago
  16. B-b--b-b-b--b-b-b-ooo-o-o-o-o-i-i-i-i-i-i-ii--n-i-ik-k-k-k-k-
  17. Resetting your game would do nothing do help that, btw
  18. Literally click one button, lol
  19. The NEC nukeclan.com just recently opened, hosted in New York for what I hear. Pretty good ping for me.
  20. Look at my forum signature.
  21. I have been with CT since day one, I can tell you, with 100% confidence, that CT does not get any special treatment from the Developers. While the server owners are all developers and the admins are global mods, it doesn't change anything. DoctorB0NG, the actual provider of the server, took a big step out of the RenX community. I don't know what your posts are based off of, but there's no way to tell for sure what is causing your crashes. My server doesn't crash or have any issues from the realm of unknown. I would suggest setting up Jupiter Bot and having an IRC channel if you don't already. If you can't distinguish a command from a server crash, you probably shouldn't be hosting a server. People do this because that's how people are. People are humans of habit, and are scared of different and unknown things. Why do they want to play on CT all the time? Don't ask us. Ask them. The DDOS drama is a big reason on why I left RenX for a long time, so don't even try to bring back some random ass shit with no proof of anything. Regards, Sarah
  22. 1. Splitting the servers up is basically impossible. People join from seeing others in, there's only a handful of people who will join low player counts. 2. Too much diversity with this small player base can be deadly. If a big server decides to make a big change, it is the only server they can play, so it's basically as if the server owners are developers. While initially owners should be allowed to make their servers how they wish, it is not that great of an idea to make too many changes. As you've seen with AGN, we added new crate types and repair pads, however, the repair pads cause a LOT of lag on 45+ players. This is simply due to us still learning how to create mutators and finding the most efficient way of doing things.
  23. Loads fine for me, make sure you have the files in the following locations... RenegadeX SDK 03-03-2017\UDKGame\Content\RenX\Environments\RX_Env_Outposts.upk Also, type in RX_Env_Outposts here, in the Content Browser and Fully Load the package. Exit the SDK and restart it and it should be fine.
