  3. There's too many variables of a match, and too little data to go off of to make accurate results.

  7. The download UI is currently broken, but if you can still move your mouse around ingame then it is bugged and you can not join.
  8. If you're sitting at the main menu and it's "frozen", you're downloading the map/compiling shaders for the materials on the map. It's a custom map.
  9. If changing some radio command hotkeys are enough to "alienate" half of the game, I would be very surprised. I think you are blowing this out of proportion. People don't like change sometimes. That's human nature. It will be awkward initially, that always comes with change. But as humans do, we will adapt and nothing will change in the end.
  10. Infantry are pretty useless in original ren from what I remember, compared to renx anyway, and I like that they play a factor especially against tanks. The one thing I love about RenX is the veh v inf combat. A vehicle shouldn't win in any engagement just because it's a vehicle. A team needs to play together to win. Have some snipers killing reps and anti inf, have tanks and anti inf tanks killing tanks and hitting buildings, have reps doing reps... tunnel inf/building rushes go in tuns. EMPs being on infantry only is intentional at this point, and it works out quite well. The best thing against a tank is best countered by another infantry unit. APCs and Buggy/Humvee also wreck flak armour, but their weapon range is questionable if they're trying to kill a distant anti tank inf.

  13. Are you running steam? If your name on steam is too long/short or it has incompatible characters, it will get set to player name.

  17. The next update will include few changes to the HUD. We appreciate all feedback, I will lock the topic and if needed we can make another for the HUD after the next patch.

  19. The tick tank is an asset we were given from TS Reborn. Initially it was simply to test importing old models and for future use. It wasn't meant for gameplay when it was added. We don't plan to update any of those vehicles.
  20. We appreciate feedback. If you could give some specific examples or changes you would like to see implemented, feel free to expound. I'm sure @Madkill40 appreciates all feedback.
  21. RenegadeX used to be a 1 to 1 remake. It is no longer that. RenX is a fan-inspired remake of the game, building on the base gamemode and bringing it into modern times. This entails changing/removing old features that don't work well. We want to learn from the mistakes of Westwood devs. This also means adding new stuff, such as veterancy and commander powers, among few additions.

  25. We felt they were too strong and were at near uncontestable levels if you didn't have a Mobius or Mendoza to kill the other one. Need to give other classes a decent chance at fighting and not just instantly melt people
