  1. It's definitely possible. This was done previously with the TS:Reborn team, which is where the TiberianSun crate vehicles come from.
  2. Not being able to shoot in/out of water is not a map specific thing, that's how it is on every other map in RenX. I will look into moving stuff around so defense is easier

  6. Swimming in water is intentional. Nothing can shoot through water. They can be moved to guard the back of the buildings, but then whats the point of having them in the first place if they guard the doors exactly? May as well just put walls up so you can't access the buildings from that area. They aren't supposed to be an "end-all" defense, just something to help. If I make any changes at all, I will probably be changing a lot more than just that 1 bit, and probably refactoring the entire tank part of the map, since it seems kinda lame anyway.

  8. I think the game would benefit a lot from using smart map selection, instead of randomly picking maps from the map pool. The maps brought up to vote at the post-game screen should be accommodating and play well for the current amount of people in the server.
  9. This is a server specific issue as of now. If they can't take care of it and the harassment continues, it can be made a global moderator issue. Please get in contact with one of the FPI admins, Goku, TomUjain or SaintPepe.
  10. We aren't planning on changing any unit or adding/removing characters for the time being. This doesn't mean it won't happen in the future, but at the moment we are comfortable and happy with the way balance is setup.

  12. Make sure to use a cooling pad and/or place it on a flat and easy to ventilate area, like a table. You can also try limiting your FPS to reduce the stress on GPU, but I think the CPU usage is the same no matter what. You can also look here for some tweaks that affect NVIDIA GPUs I believe.   13. I don't think you'll be able to achieve very good performance in the game, no matter what you tweak. Game performance is very dependent on per-core performance. Your CPU per-core performance isn't very high.
  14. I noticed the same thing a little while back when I was testing some stuff on the dev version. Didn't think much of it, thought it was due to some custom code. Guess it wasn't.

  16. We only use a UK and Nevada, USA mirror along with a CDN. The issue might be with the CDN, but I don't see why the launcher wouldn't switch to another in that time.

  19. Need some more details. Does the game throw an error with a message and close? Or it just hangs? Do you have the map downloaded?
  20. Version 2.0 is now available. Changelist: Added completely new UI Changed open UI button to B You can open/exit with B, and also exit the menu with ESC Clicking the infantry list will set you to that infantry class Clicking on the vehicle list will put you in vehicle spawn mode. A white hologram of the specific vehicle will appear, left click to spawn and right click to exit vehicle spawning mode. Clicking on the weapon list will give you that weapon.   21. The method used to create these explosions is different now, and calculating the math behind this one is a lot more lightweight. The method was changed because of the issues that people had previously. Calculating any of the physics behind this one should be near as simple as any other particle system.
  22. These new vehicle explosions haven't been in the game for too long. What's your pc specs?
  23. Doesn't exist anymore. Was probably removed for some reason. Not sure other than that.
