  1. Something fun and creative in the spirit of C&C, with a meaningful message:
  2. Read the video description if you find this next one confusing. If you can't see it, it's because it's blocked in the US/Germany/Italy/other due to a strange copyright claim and you need a VPN to see it.
  3. Thank you. You're very welcome. I've got two more videos to link in here at the moment. One is more C&C-like content, while the other is some unscripted thinking out loud for anyone curious about something introspective and less game-y.
  4. Not exactly a C&C video, but it's in the same spirit as some of you might know.
  5. Figured I'd update this thread a little bit, so here's some more of my recent C&C inspired video work. The content combines what I love about games and related experiences with providing insight aimed at facilitating various forms of growth for the viewer (depending on what one takes away from the videos of course - we're all different). There are some other videos on the channel as well, so feel free to look around if anything resonates well with you in some way. Another CC episode if you like listening about map design and any connected thoughts: Something different - a video that hopefully might motivate you if you're feeling down, stuck or as if no progress is being made: A quick example and some thoughts about neglecting used assets in games: When your favorite series finds its way into your other games and experiences: Looking forward to making more videos. Please enjoy and let me know if you have any input to share. Thank you!
  6. I've started a series about experiences in game development meant to motivate creativity in smaller bursts. Each little video contains some hopefully thought-provoking bit of information on some smaller game making topic. I've started with some thoughts on TS mission design, but might move over to Dune 2000 and some other experiences as time goes on, to better illustrate different topics and keep it entertaining. There are two videos in the playlist so far, if anyone here is interested:
  7. Thanks! I'm using Adobe's software. Premiere Pro for editing videos, and Photoshop for images and things like that.
  8. I've just uploaded another video of the same style. I ended up going with Dune instead of C&C for this one. Enjoy!
  9. My pleasure, thanks for taking the time to watch it. Glad you enjoyed it.
  10. Thank you! I'm already considering making another one based on a different C&C game.
  11. Thank you! Makes me very happy to hear you enjoyed it. I'm relatively new to video production and did my best with what I had available. Thanks! It's enlightening to think about, as I've moved on to primarily story driven games like Mass Effect, for example. Anything that's focusing in on the depth of the story and characters. Tiberian has that all over the place, more so on a grander scale with factions and the atmosphere, so it was a natural evolution. I've never played RTS games in a competitive way, but I liked base building and making things feel lived in. On a side note, I'd much rather get my hands on the uncompressed HD FMVs and cutscenes from TS, than play a remastered RTS game. TS looks great as it is, but they can always expand on that as they're doing with the originals nowadays.
  12. I made a Tiberian Sun video as a less technical review of sorts, focusing more on the atmosphere, style and emotional experience. Some jokes and nostalgia in there for good measure too. Figured some of you here might appreciate such a tribute, so let me know if it resonates well with you. VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/XEH8cVt4ALc Some other related links for anyone interested: Website | Facebook | Discord I have some other C&C related videos on there, but this is the one I'm most proud of.
  13. I haven't been around much in game through 2019, but still check in every so often. Congratulations to the community for keeping this part of C&C alive and kicking! Best wishes to you all in 2020!
  14. Wolverines are great engi hunters in TS! hehe You can see that Chems is very happy to be alive in the end of Rescue Elite. He even pulled out a tiberium crystal from its ground socket to celebrate life!
