  1. the flickering is a udk bug you need to turn aa to off or use a higher FXAA preset
  2. to change lights from dynamic to static alls you have to do is disable the dynamic channel and enable the static channel (static only) the main light (dominant directional) needs to have static and composite dynamic enabled you can also select lights and convert them to static via the right click menu i havent looked at the map so .... yer i dont know what lights you have
  3. a really getto way of doing it is to use irc ... use a highlight to search map changers "CNC-Whiteout loaded" and have it respond with the add bots command or make a custom script to do the same thing within irc script would be 1000% better as it could determine who / what said "CNC-mapname loaded"
  4. game log would help but id the pc is shutting down ... it usaly means something is wrong with hardware would suggest running some stress tests like Aida64 https://www.aida64.com/ run each test in turn and see if ya pc shuts down ... cpu ram and gpu .... if ya pc does shutdown ... go though the test logs it should tell you why my bet is overheating

  12. ok lets go over the fundamentals .... install directX (dont matter if you think you have it ... just install it (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downloa ... g=en&id=35) update your graphics driver (http://support.amd.com/en-us/download) then try running the game
  13. black dawn was built on an early version of the UDK so there is nothing like that you can do ... a log would help ... in udkgame folder there is a log folder the latest log would help find out whats going on
  14. ahhh might be the old udk setting system udkengine / defaultengine.ini then
  15. ok DefaultSystemSettings.ini then
  16. ok so the game is trying to play in a res that your hardware doesn't support so you need to navergate to the game directory (right click the desk top icon and hit open file location then go back 2 folders untill you see Binaries, Engine, UDKGame and some other folders) in in the UDKGame folder there is a config folder there will be a file called UDKSystemSettings.ini you need to open this with notepad find (Ctrl+F) ResX= change X and Y to the same as your desk top resolution (found in display settings via right clicking the desktop and going to the advanced display settings) ResX=first number ResY=second number then save and try running the game again
  17. dont forget that the new launcher will be able to download any map the server is running so if the server owners wish to re-add the old maps they can and there will be no hassle for the players to get them
  18. Your maps is flat...
  19. Beach head............. Well it was never meant to be releaced as a playable map... That said..... Ive just got marryed i got a baby on the way my priorities have changed big time... But the map will come our one day might even have somthing new with it... Why not give up some of your time to make a map?
  20. cool... if you use a trigger volume around were you can cap the silos... in kismit you can use the untouch node so when the player leaves it will check the silos and if they are both capped you can trigger what ever it is you have in mined... barring in mined it will trigger when ever some one leaves the volume if they cap or not... so even if it triggers once it can be triggered again by a diffrent player that leaves the volume.... but that is if you set the volume to be triggered more then once not sure what you have in mined
  21. Ok so why you looking for team 3 there is no team 3 .. You oly need to look for twam 1 or team 0 yhere os no real point to check for nutral ass the player 1 / 0 check will filyer out nutral and or 1/0 depending on the team yhat caps / kimit there after The 3 should always be 0 even tho the int will get ovenridden by the gwt team number Not sure the building cap node is a thing unless its custom... I would use a trigger / trigger volume to trigger the check only need to check things when you wish to trigger things Trigger - - > checks - - - > output No need to check if its getting capped on the fly... The kismet just needs to check if your team has it to proceed to the next bit of kismet
