If 822mb is the compressed .rar, then what's the total size of the extraction? :?

I genuinely don't think Nod needs a TickTank with an MG - Flame Tanks Inc. would be put outta'business I tell ya!
-
It'd be nice if I could clientside target one unit at a time for myself, its target UI staying locked to the target permanently for 30 seconds or until its obliterated - would be awesome.
-
Its rate of fire should be akin to the Ceiling Turret burst shots

You misspelt "RenegadeX"

>Hiding under some chairs in the back of the room, now in darkness, the bin knocked over and the pastries being devoured >Through his consumption of pastries he utters ~~~~~~~ FOCUS FIRE: Shoot the same enemy vehicle [Focus Fire] to better eliminate a blockade. [Two Mammies shooting an Arty at the same time will kill the arty, that cannot be out-healed] - If under siege by Nod, Mammies and Rocket Soldiers with repairs. If under siege by GDI, LCGs, Rocket Soldiers & Light Tanks. LCGs EMP, the rest of the infantry is for intimidation and the Light tanks are to drive around the GDI vehicles so the GDI team struggles to shoot at the same target. DECOYS: Decoys are a really good way to divert enemy attention, if your team has the enemy teams' attention then act on that infiltration or sabotage as soon as you can - If your team dies in the field, some of your enemy will return to their base alternatively, 80% of the enemy will immediately return to their base giving your team an easier time to hold the field and hopefully picking off a few enemy vehicles. Quantity over Quality: Pesky infantry players giving you a hard time? Assaulting the infantry paths with Grenades or Flames [3 or more] to take down a priced character is better than allowing low money be your crux Ambush: If you are a flame thrower infantry and you see a lone mammoth tank, jump on top of it and kill it - the Mammoth tank will struggle to kill you. Use Stanks to focus fire enemy vehicles to take them down faster. - With any other vehicle if you can hide your vehicle anywhere enough to let the enemy pass, wait until they engage the rest of your team, then fire at them from behind.

I didn't think most people would ever get or be able to get an MRLS close enough to the Airstrip to follow through with that, nice find.

I take this back, I spoke way too soon For some reason on 64-bit my Purchase Terminal has varied lag spikes [much patience required], but when the soundbug strikes the lag spikes disappear - Its really bizarre

*'Oasis' is an original Renegade X re-imagining of the map 'Gobi', which Oasis is based on. [?] "re-imaginating" isn't the correct term. "re-imagine" or "re-imagining" is the correct term. [Easy mistake to make]

After everything said in this thread, I wonder, if there was another vote with the same choices - how the results would change. Limited to two choices, [not mandatory to vote twice] with all the same options as the OP. It would be the single-most important Dev to Community method of listening which seems impertinent to take one step closer and concentrate on a possible solution, in my opinion. As it stands given the current results, whilst Team Stacking is 40 votes (36%) , Community also stands out as the 2nd most favourable - 25 votes; 22% - frustration in RenX. SuddenThoughts regarding the last sentence. PS. I'm not dismissing any of the other votes, each of those are noteworthy issues.

F5 - (type) kill or F5 - (type) suicide Shouldn't ever have to restart if stuck :v

Include Gunner / LCG for 'Defence' & DeadEye / BlackHandSniper for 'Support', in a way a new player will understand the roles for these characters from the get go and will player them frequently because discounted/able for purchase after building destroyed. These roles should be for the whole match... if this was even going to be a thing.

And here was me trying to boost my self-esteem by assuming I was loved and adored by random players on the interwebz

This is slowly being worked on, some players may get the roasting and stick around then do the same to other newbies - New or breaking out of new, it is unfortunate to be roasted unexpectedly for not magically knowing the ways of the game. But being more newbie friendly is in the motion, many times I've suggested an 'Friendly' server. Which bridges the user-to-user help in learning the game. Tip when stuck in a vehicle, get out and get back in the vehicle and tap 'W' or 'D' key - 90% of the time this will free your vehicle to move again. If infantry stuck spot [or even a permanent vehicle stuck spot] always remember to screenshot and share it onto the forums Restart map and Change map I can agree with definitely, the two of these vote spams are immature and might be better off as mod-instigated votes 50-50 on surrender vote being locked to Commander only. [There's already a 10 minute cool-down on the surrender vote] There are enough players on at any time to nearly fill two 64 slot servers, but this community in-particular is quite timid to loiter or seed more than one server at a time. I once saw FPI booming so I joined the CT server in the hopes of getting two servers going and people were starting to fill CT and I was like "Wicked, is this two servers decently populated now??!!!" - as it turned out, just by being on the CT server meant people started to leave the FPI server to join the CT server, the reason is still a mystery. US and EU based 'Friendly' servers might be a good idea, vanilla RenX, experienced players who join expected to help newbie players - newbie players encouraged to ask for help [due to lack of substantial tutorial] - because no matter what the time of day it is in the world or however many players are in those servers, it's more expected to have user-to-user(s) tutorial than to better understand the game than to be tossed into the deep end. RenX has that Natural Selection 2 learning curve, should treat newbies in a similar way. (It would still be solely down to a newbie to join a [Friendly] server) Friendly server map rotation should be solely Complex, Walls and Under. [As these maps give new players the most in the three map play-styles which they'll learn in time should they stick around to enjoy RenX like many of us do. [i.e. Complex: No base defenses, its all on the team. Walls: flying map, only AA, rooftop access. Under: Base defenses map, importance of (counter-)infiltration. etc. ] EU server, ez set up. US server? Hmm.

Games get to overlook this from the equation of logic to be fair A more interactive map would be nice

Thanks for the video it just made me think of how you could unfairly abuse being able to self-destruct one of your teams' vehicles Your team loses a vehicle to the enemy, as in the enemy steals it - that vehicle is still counted as your teams' vehicle and uses up a vehicle slot. No worries guys, commander can self-destruct that Stank GDI just stole off us. Yet another reason against fascist commander control *many agree
-
Its justified team-hampering 1. Team mates may not fully understand english, so when a batshit commander is threatening them they still won't understand 2. Commanders idea for a rush could be absolute trash, therefore fuck that trashcommander for destroying my vehicle - F5 > donate credits to enemy team > Quit 3. Lets at least try to enhance CMod, rather than turn it into absolute evil
-
I just think it creates elitist and stuck'up behaviours if you enable "I R COMMAND, UR NUTT HELPIN', DECONSTRUCT YORR VEHICLE" Commander commands and offers support to end an stalemate, not to be some fascist overlord by forcing players into an 'My way or the highway' situation - Lets say we're on Islands and the GDI commander is a dumbass who thinks 6 Mammies is better than 4 meds+2 Mammies on Islands - I lose my med and someone else buys an Mammy because I wasn't in base but defending the front ... we lose the front and the commander is forever a prick in my eyes Nobody wants that, but something like that will happen if you give the Commander so much control over what their team can/cannot purchase If you're commander and your team doesn't pay attention to what you type, then I always see it as I'm too unfamiliar to my team to be paid much notice, which happens. However, I don't need to assert my distaste for being ignored by also commanding which vehicles are allowed.

You can't shoot down the C130 unless it was possible to EMP the Weapons Factory but that aside, you can shoot down the airstrikes - 3 shots with an Ramjet Rifle.
-
That's awful. Like, really awful.
-
Shoot the missile down, try to kill the commander... Neither are easy tasks depending but there is an fair amount of time between the cruise and the disarm... But I do see your point - As airstrikes aren't allowed on beacons then perhaps a Cruise missile shouldn't be allowed within a certain radius of the beacon either, why prevent one whilst allowing the other when they're practically the same [although still vary significantly]
-
Two Captain slots, non-specific are more ideal and less bitchboi linear. Maybe I want two Tank Captains? Or two Infantry Captains? Non-specific Captain roles are best. Additionally, the requesting of an specific commander power (i.e. Recon, EMP or Smoke) is an easier integration which wouldn't upset the balance which presently exists. Captains can still Q-Spot so you have 3 instead of 1 who can tag enemy players which is still useful for CP collection. But giving two additional players the ability to buff their team in any capacity is nuts and would lead to more bullshit - whereas requesting allows Captain's to request an strike even if the Commander isn't there to spot it themselves. [Anything can cause an argument because people argue regardless, that's not an valid counter-argument] They're subordinates without the clearance to activate the commander powers so they must request them, otherwise you don't have sub-commanders but 2 extra commanders.
-
Commander and two Captain's. All of them can Q-Spot units and they track but only Commander can use CP +powers. Maybe Captain's can request something and the Commander receives a prompt to accept or deny. Additionally, @yosh56 - What say you? Is Commander Mod okay to be mutated?
-
Double cruise on a beacon is 1800 CP, that's a lot of CP and if a team is doing well enough for long enough to gather over 1800 CP then however brutal this tactic is it can't be too frequent or entirely unfair either Which map was it on?
-
I was more thinking "Oh I'd have never thought to snipe from there" or "Oh wow, they got them from that distance through such a narrow line of sight" Not necessarily trying to simulate how well they pick off an repair team, that'd be some next-level challenge mode
