  6. Well, if people still complains about ramjet's long-range anti air capability, Dev can always modify the function so that Ramjet can do a different damage against aircrafts as opposed to being tied up to all light vehicles. Unless it defeats the purpose of the change of course

  8. That is actually a nice idea. Atleast, I think so. Meby that's an idea for a Tech building of some sort. Nah, I mean like the same building, but with different look
  9. What I'd like to ask is a bit radical. Now I know that the buildings are just multiple meshes and actors composed into one (and kismet too? maybe?) now what if we break the prefab and.... say, reconstruct the building into its' Tiberian Sun iteration, but still pumps the same unit of course. Would that be possible? It would be an interesting twist in a map where buildings are concealed as civilian structures for undercover excuse. So many players will rage because the Hand of Nod does not look like a Hand of Nod at all. Of course that's just my imagination going wild
  10. Definitly, I'd like to use it for sniper spots. Edit: Just in the idea phase now though Well, as far as I know, you only need to include the map and the custom packages where your meshes are located. Like Unreal Tournament, I'd advise against modifying existing packages from RenX, so create your own. But if I'm correct, it IS possible to insert the asset into the map itself.
  11. Will the ship have interior you can enter? If so, you should do mesh compositing instead of one large mesh

  13. That's TOO MUCH punisment for losing one building. On top of not having higher tier, you also receive one-shot spawn-death. Yeah, sounds fun
  14. And I thought you guys say Nod is OP. Now you refuse to have advantage on GDI's side? In all seriousness, SBH spies is not something you can mass produce on GDI while Nod can go SBH rushing more often.I think it's just a fair trade-off Besides, when Nod sees a cloak they can't see, they'll automatically assume it's hostile, much like normal spies actually. The only difference is that you can't see them from the distance
  15. As far as I know, you're gonna have a hard time looking for desired low-poly things. As for a whole .upk package, I stumbled on a website once, they give udk packages away for everyone in need for free... as far as I remember. Epic wouldn't like people selling packages anyway. If you want to make assets yourself, I'd advise dividing the meshes into parts (eg : pillars, walls, roofs, floor) so you can reuse them for different things

  20. A part of me wish that Steam would not be essential, since it's blocked on my wifi spot. But if it finally becomes necessity, I guess I'll have no choice
  21. Some, not all? I used to get 300 pings or less for EKT and TmX. It would decrease into 72 ingame. Others sometimes have no ping though. But now I don't receive ping from any server. As happened to you, it hangs on the main menu for half an hour (or until I just realize it's not loading at all and close the game), where as I usually wait for a few seconds before the game launches into the map
  22. Ugh *facepalm* I knew I should've tried to play online during Beta 1... I'm curious as to how it would be possible... although some ini editing and such would probably be likely. Not sure about .u editing since it will possibly lock you from playing online, as it does in UT
  23. I don't believe there's any hacker in this game, not yet at least. After all, this is a UDK game Besides, Renegade X is not intended to be a straight-out remake as far as I know, and I don't think a total clone will be successful anyway. Just because it was a success then doesn't mean it's gonna be a success now But I guess I only have little to say, being a new player

  25. I can see your server yesterday, the problem is, when I try to connect it waits forever to load, literally. For some reason, the ping says 'no ping' instead of the usual 100-300 number I'll try pinging on monday. Currently not at the wifi spot
