  2. Hello everyone, @AlienXAXS and I have been working hard on the AGN RenX servers. We'd like to open up a thread on the official RenX forums and get some input from the community regarding custom crate types. Currently, the types we have are... Abduction Beacon* (Gives you an ion or a nuke) Character Vehicle Money Nuke Random weapon* (Gives a random weapon, does not work for SBH) Refill Speed Spy Suicide (0% drop chance) Super Money* (Gives 100 credits to everyone on team) Timed C4 TS Vehicle (Now includes Tesla Tank) Veterancy * Is a custom crate While the rates differ highly, the most common crates are veteran, speed and refill; the death crates have the lowest drop rates of them all. We'd like to ask the community to submit some feedback in this post, regarding new crate ideas and edits for the current crates.

  5. The normal download is pretty slow, but if you take 5 minutes and setup a webserver/redirect, it doesn't have the same issues...
  6. There are indeed plenty of hacks and I know specifically of 1 edit you can make to your config files to turn off the display and collision of leaves in plants and foliage. Most of the time the trees block some shots on angles, but you can make them disappear entirely. Speed hacks, damage hacks, rate of fire hacks... They're all out there and RenX only has detection for 1 of those, and it's not that great at that.

  10. If you're wondering why this is, it's because map time limit's are handled via the server launch options. At the moment, the settings that can be done PER MAP basis, are the one's that are generally handled within the map file itself. (Mine limit, vehicle count, airstrike cooldown, harvester dump amount and credit tick rate). Of course, there's probably a way for a mutator to change those (or just edit the map yourself, although this would include for people to download the entire file again). (My best guess.) The case is different for the map time limit, as it is locked once the server starts up.

  12. It's nothing to worry about, the mod team is here for a reason. Commendations to you for correctly responding and calling a staff member. If he continues, the team at CT will decide what needs to happen.

  17. Most likely an error mismatch of some type with the server mutators. Search in your installation directory and tell me if you have a file called Rx_Mutator_MaxPlayers.u Also it would help if you specify exactly which server you are trying to connect to. (I see you're ingame now, have fun!)
  18. I just looked on the server as it is now, 21/60 players are running Steam. I don't see it as a very strong deterrent. And it would annoy other people who don't want to use it.
  19. Steam accounts are free to make? And that's easily the most obvious hacker ever. He was already banned with every ban type we have.
  20. I wouldn't call it lazy, mostly that sometimes little things like this can't be an easy fix, and they don't have a lot of time anyway; so instead of fixing this small issue they try to focus on larger issues with the amount of time they have
  21. Indeed. I have tried something similar to this myself. The only way is to have the package installed on the server. (Which would require everyone else to download it and use it as well)
