  1. Maybe make it in such a way that the "regen" effect only begins 5 minutes after it takes damage. I think it would be an interesting mechanic to see how it might play out.
  2. I see the Construction Yard as having 3 abilities: Passive: Slowly heals buildings, exactly like unit regen on Elite. Active: Allow for other buildings to be rebuilt if destroyed 1 time each during a match, at high cost (eg, 20,000 Credits) Additional Commander power: Allow for defensive buff on building which increases it's armor for a limited time (exactly like defensive buff currently but only affects the building) [this commander power is disabled if Con Yard destroyed] In this way, there are many advantages to having the Construction Yard active, but if its destroyed, the team isn't penalized for not having it active.
  3. Stealth Blank Hand units are surely worth their own discussion. Always gotta remember the big picture. SBH does not equal (!=) Command and Conquer mode. As far as vehicle crates are now, I have no problem with them. The random unbalancing they can add to a match always helps keep it interesting

  5. Actually this is one of the light tanks secret powers. It can ram and out maneuver most tanks. Get good at running into MRLS and medium tanks and you shall be a force to be feared on the battlefield =D
  6. It will always be a problem as long as veteran players turn a blind eye to the problem. But I think most are understanding it is a real issue. Shpetim and I are frequently on during what I'll call "North American" times, player counts tend to be a bit lower. And many times one or both of us can easily sway the flow of the match, so we've agreed a few months ago to switch to the side that needs help when we can. (or even avoid using such advantages such as commander powers.. although sometimes I just wanna cruise everything LOL) It's not about winning, its about having a good time. Sometimes those are one in the same, other times, not so much.

  8. I've tested the new settings a few days, and saw no difference (admittedly my frame rate was already a solid 60fps even at 2160p)

  10. Are you able to find the launcher in the program menu? I would recommend uninstalling and try loading the installer again. I've had problems randomly a few times
  11. yes not many people on between 6pm - 2am CST, but we've been getting more and more on during those times! =D
  12. I know its extra work... but dying in tiberium then a 50% chance of a visceroid spawning could lead to some interesting mechanics.
  13. I haven't play tested the map in awhile, but I think the proper soft world boarders are explained by @kenz3001 in this video: Personally I feel it would feel more "realistic" without hard water volumes and simply use soft volumes in the water.

  15. I agree @SilentKnight the solution should be something that is simple for the player in game to understand.
  16. Yes I thought so at first too. But maybe the solution isn't any single idea but a combination somehow ... Maybe.
  17. Granted if a new player has no idea how the beacon concept works, of course they will leave frustrated because all their buildings dying.
