    Haha! For real though, super rad! I'm sure with some optimizations itll play just as well as regular field. Would be awesome to have in rotation to help with the late night field matches.

Right Click Windows Security in the bottom right of the taskbar -> Click View Security Dashboard => Click Virus & Threat Protection => Click Protection History => Click Protection History => (Im forgetting what it will show as); but basically highlight the flagged download, click Actions & Allow. Then download again.
  9. Sniper VP Rewards Mutator View File Here is the mutator for sniper vp killer rewards. I've included config options for Marksman, Ramjet and DeadEye/BH sniper rifles. You can adjust the percentage of rewards for each sniper rifle type in UDKSniper_VP_Killer_Rewards.ini. Something I found when looking at the game code prior is that the sniper rifles that BlackHand and DeadEye use actually give bonus VP for kills over every other class, so you get a +1 VP bonus, I'm not sure why their rifles are given bonus rewards but I've added a setting in the config to disable this bonus VP. There are a few useful logs from the mutator that you can use to determine current values, just do a search for SVPKR to get them all, examples below. SVPKR: BaseVP for Kill of Soldier with Rx_Weapon_SniperRifle_Nod and sniper modifier at 61% is:1.2200 (Default: 2.0000) SVPKR: Sniper VP Bonus Enabled (Bonus Amount: 1) SVPKR: Sniper VP Bonus Disabled (Usually: 1) SVPKR: Rewarded VP: 4.2200 You will notice that Rewarded VP is different from what the modifier VP says this is because the rewarded VP is after all other additions have been made such as if the victim was holding a beacon, since they are not sniper specific I haven't made it log that information.   11. I think until Beta 3, the game didn't have passive income at all. It became a real slog. And playing with the values at this point to find a better "sweet spot", is beyond the scope of what the team wants for RenX at this time.

  13. @Undertaker et al. Please. the snark isn't necessary. The team has very few resources spread very thin. Have some gratitude for the game that is nearly 10 years old and still getting "official" support.

  15. Not sure what else to tell you. I treat every accusation impartially. I'm friendly with everyone, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't bring the hammer down if the situation calls for it. But as said before, the UDK engine that runs Renegade X, is janky as hell. Lag, frame drops, missing animations, bugs - all these can easily contribute to the perception of "hacking/cheating". And maybe some of it is borderline abuse of the game as it was made (eg a light tank ramming into a medium tank and completely getting underneath it). Another factor, some of these players being accused... they play video games like 10+ hours per day. I don't care what you're doing with your life... but anyone who puts that much time into anything will become expert level with that kind of dedication. And not every situation will always be handled swiftly and correctly. were all human. And some of it is out of our control; but we do what we can when we're available.

  17. honestly, of all the "snipers are destroying this game" topics... this is actually one of the most civil and well thought out posts on them. I agree snipers in the state they've always been... has always felt out of place. Simply put a a great sniper player is nearly untouchable. Their play style doesn't mesh well with Command & Conquer mode honestly. The question is, if they were nerfed, how much would that throw the balance of other units. It's a very tricky balancing act. I think the most chaotic change that was made to havoc/sakura over the years.. was it beta 3? To turn them into infiltration units and give them more c4... Yeah that didn't last long

  19. Also, I believe its not known *why* the bots crash the servers; so it may be a good deal of time until we have bots again. =(
