  1. Nice! The Engineers meeting was superlative. What a great group of people to know. I am almost drunk on the comraderie. I will admit to enjoying the conversation of snipers... sometimes i learn a few things, but they are a weird bunch. And OFC, every tanker BBQ is like family. After all, i spend a lot of time supporting them, and the good ones appreciate the effort. . .... but engineers..... they are a interesting bunch. .. and their gatherings are a delight... So many intricately delicious foods, complex games and .....So many great stories of teamwork and perseverance. I am thankful to be counted among their number. To get here was not easy. But luck was with me when i found a mentor who recommended me. REP # 87 spoke up for me. After passing inspection and testing i was given the honorific of being REP # 100. Apparently there is great importance in that number. REP # 3 has given me tacit approval to recommend players for the group. The code 124816 allowed me to access the REP database. REP, btw is short for: RenegadeX Engineers Program. I was talking with REP # 52 who had clearly spent much time on the battlefield. I listened as one after another the stories were spectacular in drama, detail and in importance. Between musical entertainments our talk turned to engineering. One person stated that the Great3st! of all Engineers! was a gent who saved his base from utter destruction. Another engineer swore that the repair work she did with the injured was critical to her team's survival. After much talk we were deep in our drinks and i ventured my opinion. I stated my greatest engineering efforts lay in supporting the front lines as they fought. Cmon! i argued. They need it the most. Keep the tip of the spear sharp! At first i thought i would find argument and debate worthy of engineers. But shockingly they feel silent. In their faces i saw the tale. Many of them had enjoyed and suffered in support of the front lines... To those who Lead! I shouted. To those who Lead! came the response. As one we lifted our glasses and drank a quiet toast to our team, and to our fellow engineers and the teams we support, be they GDI or NOD. As the celebration wound down, i wondered. I wondered if there are any more engineers out there who find glory in support, fun in front line action, and value in defensive mining....... ...
  2. Follow me! you stupid bot... cmon...over here......
  3. well.. it isnt really big band but it has the right attitude..... A selection from my top 100 Hits from my life. This one because it so infectious.
  4. Every once in a while i have to have my fix of jelly. I once made a Jelly Roll channel on Pandora, but i found that was too much of a good thing. Thanks for the dose.
  5. Being able to use Q spotting is great stuff I find many of the location names to be intuitive. I can mostly guess where that is. . But i would find it helpful if the Big Map had some of these locations noted on them. I could learn them while chillin and waitin for start or check it during game if I am not sure. Thoughts?
  6. Would it be possible to hear a bell or sound effect when a commander vote is initiated? Sometimes i am in the thick of battle, and even tho the writing is RIGHT THERE CENTER, i almost miss it or do miss it. Pavlov knew what he was doing.... ring the bell!
  7. LOL. that video had a few laughs for me in it. I would Definitely go to the Furry Pound server. lol.
  8. Could this be decided by allowing players to vote on it?

    Peace Through Surrender

    wth?
  10. Nuts. i know its kinda squirrelly of me, but i put great store in that server when it was up.. The server with password, was titled Furry and Newbs and nerdly server. But now its gone... I will have to chew on that.
  11. >accepts that some issues are low priority. Claps for all the great game play stuff continuously added.
  12. I was just thinking there might be a server for us furries..... Or am i seeing things? >requests password
  13. This is kinda strange, but.... With all that is going on i have been indulging in feeling nostalgic about my memories of living in New York City. .. I like listening to the sounds of a busy city .... If you like to play along... Put on the above New York Jazz track and then put this track on at a reduced level .... The video pic is kinda nice if you ever lived in queens... I am looking for better tracks but so far this one is not bad.....
  14. Two power Images. This last one comes from a news story i read. The priests were using this bot instead of a human. I Laughed so loud! and took the pic. But now when ever i see it i feel blessed. Odd...
  15. ive always liked seeing Quinc3y's name on the screen cause i used to live in Quincy Illinois.
  16. puddi puddi
  17. I know it will NOT be a popular opinion. But i really do wish the game had a bit more build up in the early stages. New gamers might get more invested in the fight. Experienced players might be less likely to cry out! Arty Party! We dooooomed. A lost harvester might be countered. { now i enjoy early rushes as much as anyone... but... maybe the game would be better with a bit more early basic fighting ...} ?
  18. yeah. i know we can remove them. I don't understand why it is a mechanic that exists. How hard is it to vote in a commander?
  19. The commander should always result from the team's voice, from their vote. In this very important way, the players have an opportunity to express their knowledge of each other and the situation. This is a Very Important dynamic in the game's culture. Why do teams sometimes get commanders by default/automatic? I assume there is a reason, but I'm thinking the commander role is too important to be assigned by default. It should be the voice of the players that speaks not the voice of some automatic programmed decision.
  20. I cant get this out of my head.....
  21. Tell me how that building died. Unless i'm missing something, right now when builldings get destroyed, as a player the only way i have of knowing just how it happened - is to see it or some one tells me when i ask. Knowing just WTF! happened, is CRITICAL to building my narrative/storyline of events in the game. ( Storyline leads to epic events awareness leads to good times and fun) Could the game please tell me how builidings die? Surely the information is already calculated. Share it with us. If the Barracks died by c4, if the refinery died from mrls, if a freakin chem dude killed power. Tell us. tell us all.....
  22. I'm kinda liking the idea of linking it to veterancy. That information is already calculated and provided to players on another screen... Putting it on the battlefield would help new players intuit the game. " Maybe i shouldn't a stood in front of that Veteran MRLS....." and additional VP is a reasonable reward.
  23. Something visible to players, an enticement. Not a cross hair but something that suggests difference. In some ways ofc it would suck to be a Highlighted target.. as a frequent support healer i can feel the bullets already, but the game would have more dynamics and narrative. An effort to push forward or defend might be more easily understood by players. The motivation to pursue a difficult objective could be increased. ? maybe this is just another version of my desire to see bounties placed on players. It just seems like there should be more ways for players to cooperate in the face of difficulties in the fight. ON second thought.. its probably a bad idea. ...
  24. Enable the game to Automatically create Enhanced Targets of Value. When a player exceeds a certain k/d ratio When a player is supporting the hell out of the team. When a player is racking up huge building damage. Can you take the heat?

    Coop vs AI

This thread reminds me that what i think we need is a Target range. You know... a place where you can try out your various weaponry against a variety of targets (hopefully moving). Total respect 07 :
