Ap2000, the ramjet(Sakura/Havoc) gets damage nerf into 150, in addition to spread. Light vehicle damage is also nerfed while heavy vehicle damage is buffed to compensate it.

I think it became like that since as far as I know, every single infantry path (with the exception of pre-beta 4 Mesa 2 , I think) always end up in mineable choke points. Take a look on Field, Island, Volcano, and Goldrush. TBH, first time I took my defense position as GDI, I met that wtf moment when suddenly WF blew while the mines on infantry path were alright

I don't think EMP takes beacon's spot... But if it does take C4's spot, I guess that would be much better. The only problem I just realized is that Tech/Hottie is not affected since both their C4s are in different spot. Instead they'll just replace Proxy with EMP About Ramjets shifting to Commando, I believe it's possible that this change would psychologically decrease the amount of super snipers in front of the enemy's base I dunno if it's a good idea to instead do it to Volt Rifler. That would make them OP without considerable nerf as they'd be able to solo a structure. Ramjet wouldn't be able to do so quickly without a help And I don't think I wanna see a weak volt rifle

Regarding the *Boink* Notification Upon Kill
Handepsilon replied to perfectblue's topic in Renegade X
I'm a new player and the boink already grows on me. As said previously, it is such a satisfying sound Then again, other sounds might do that as well if it was used instead of the boink. I'll just go neutral -
So for some reason, GDI and Nod are gonna go fighting senselessly in a sewage facility on another planet... (I'd really love to see it tho) The second one kinda redeems the first, but I don't think it's enough. Perhaps you should reduce it to damaging the mines instead of total disarm. By the time the defenders reach the EMP'ed building, I think it would be all too late But I want to know how the majority of TmX and EKT beta testers feel about it first. If they could handle the EMP SBH/whatever then I guess it won't be too much of a problem...

Allammo beacons? The end is nigh...

Do you have your drivers updated?

and that would be 'yayz' or 'nuuuu'? Actually you don't need to answer that. Looking forward for the next Beta

Exploit: Speedhack like effect from vehicle collision
Handepsilon replied to Soylentgamer's topic in Feedback & Bug Reports
Sounds more like a Ping problem. If you do get 'Speedhack Detected' message, that actually means that you had bad connection. I usually get this when my player starts to dubstep -
Spec?
-
Definitely not power up or level up. Yeah, if someone's going to make this later, make this a RenX spin-off gamemode But how come we went totally off topic into talking about this anyway...?

Exploit: Speedhack like effect from vehicle collision

I'm not... really following you. More details? -
Well, you have a point, Yosh. The main lanes of DotA are like the field for Renegade, while the jungle is similar to the tunnel... we only need 10 players and fill the rest of the slot with Bot to get DotA, and if you really want to simulate it more, make 12 towers (modified radius) for each team.
-
Wait... DotA's map isn't symmetrical? Are you referring to creeps and secret shop placements?

I know AOW is All Out War simply because other servers were like : "ALL OUT WAAAAAAAAARRRRRR" or "ALL OUT WAAAAAAAAARRRR.... but smaller"

Field is... in my dictionary : 'A map where you take things less seriously than any other maps' Sure Gold Rush and Mesa had map defenses, but you still have a much much more intense fight in Mesa than field, and Gold Rush has defenses blind spot on the infantry building (and let's not forget tunnel ion). Field is like a siesta to me, although sometimes we end up losing and all, but in my experience, Field is where the fight is not too intense. I mean sure, HoN/WF whoring is always at its' finest there, but when delayed long enough, some people do crazy things like stacking up vehicles and lifting them up to... say WF, or capturing and storing GDI vehicles behind Airstrip, or drive an APC to the cliff near the waterfall tunnel. It's such a marvel, what people does in RenX when they're bored I'm not a competitive player, no. I like Field even with all its' stalemates. It's a fun map when your mind is not 100% focused on winning. When it is, though... well you're gonna find it boring

was it the same problem as viewtopic.php?f=124&p=143625? Edit : Oh, you know what? Forget I said that. You probably want to upload it to youtube and post the embed code here

I don't think it's as simple as it seems... see, enemies and allies share the same collision flags, same physics... so you can't solve it that way. Even a simple 'can't place in front of allies' won't do since the throw had small, but significant trajectory that can be manipulated. The only way I see how is by removing any attached mines/C4 once it's on allies... but might create inconsistencies since enemy vehicles or neutral ones can somehow end up in your allies' hands

A little note, according to Left 4 Dead 2 note, windowed mode will slow your computer down since the computer will no longer concentrate performance on the game and divert some attention to your desktop I believe this applies on other games too As the dev said, resolution plays massive role on performance drop, especially for UE games. You might want to lower it considerably to... say, 1280 x whatever (personally I play it safe and drop it all the way to 640, but my laptop is far weaker so you can ignore this) off topic : Speaking of resolution, some UI text blurs on low res
-
did you push E by accident or what? I never had such problem I do think you're the only one, since I haven't seen a single complain about this

One of the most disastrous glitch is how an object can be placed on a player's head and thus blocking him from shooting anything. He will receive his own fire (including hitscan) as long as it remains. This is very disastrous to unaware ramjetters, which only has one shot to realize that he's been glitched. The second shot would kill him Even if it's not on his face, he will not have his purchases registered while he had something attached on his body That aside, it also works as body shield. Mining on players can literally make them a walking bomb

I'd call a 450 priced gun that can take out tanks from long (invisibly limited) distance as OP Regarding Voltie, Jake's got a point. My Mendoza blocks GDI invasion on X-Mountain for about 10 minutes without dying. It pierces through tanks like butter. But once enemies starts rushing infantries that is agile enough, using Volt rifle to stop such rushes would be an achievement of itself. Small hitbox, ridiculous recoil, dead fast ammo depletion... it is not a good combination. The range is not at all visible, as I could hit far just quite fine. However, when you start using volt rifles on a bunch of infantries... you're just Renegading it wrong
-
Now that I think of it... yes. X-Mountain was the only map where Strip 's end was facing the back of the base, forcing the slomo Harvy to turn around almost 180 degrees
