I'm pretty sure you ain't the only one. We hardly have more than 8 people the first time this map got out (in Beta 4-5.002 mind you). So we never managed to discover a handful of problems. Di biggest one is that Obelisk managing to shoot halfway to the field before the base is walled off. The second is the faulty tiberium textures. The rest just escaped us. I'm pretty sure DaKuja is going to work on the 1.5 version later

1 and 2 shows one of the worst problem DaKuja faced even before the map went public. AGT just can't shoot farther than Obelisk does. 3 is..... glitchy no? I don't think you're supposed to go up the rocks with aircraft only. Those formations are for airs to hug walls to cover from Obis and AGTs

I chose RenX (of course lol) and Mental Omega. OpenRA might be great, nostalgic, and heavily moddable but in terms of uniqueness, gameplay, graphic, story and difficulty (Vanilla RA2's Brutal = Mental's Easy) I hold Mental Omega 3.0 high

Mental Omega doesn't need original C&C? since when? I have 3.0 Beta Revision 1 and it still needs Yuri's Revenge

Well, personally I dunno which is better, i3 or AMD A8. But Black Dawn ran smoother in my AMD A8 Lenovo laptop than my Intel i3 HP laptop. Perhaps it's because of the AMD Radeon HD dual graphic, not sure. If so, I guess GPU does make quite a difference

Coastal Small Update : - Removed Obelisks, replacing them with energy-shielded 'OmniTurrets' that are basically indestructible along with barriers that allows only Nod side to get their tanks to through the field - Creates a cinematic sequence where a C130 is downed by A10 and crashed above the barrier, and causes rockslide that drops the cliff to the barriers, opening path for GDI tanks to mount assault - Adds turrets on the entrance beach along with a buried Hand of Nod for sniper and rockets vantage points. Adds cover for PP so GDI can't shell it with Hovercraft from the first beach - Adds barriers on GDI hovercraft spot so it cannot go to the field - (Also applies for Coastal's big version) Tweaks the Hovercraft so it doesn't sink when the driver goes out - Adds blocking volume to ensure that no one can bypass the gaps on the rocks and shoot from below the landscape through gaps in Hovercraft's path - Adds more Guard Towers to compensate GDI's further disadvantages - Moves the rock on GDI entrance a bit forward so GDI cannot shell the turrets and so Nod cannot shell GDI's Guard Towers easily The C130 sequence sample EDIT : Download zip https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6yEH_ ... sp=sharing EDIT 2 : Download config https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6yEH_ ... sp=sharing

The script compiles in order, ModEditPackages is compiled after EditPackages. So here's what happened before : Your script compiles before the UTGame does, that's why it cannot find the UTMutator class, which is in UTGame. The package and their classes hasn't existed yet. RenX compiles after UTGame, that is why your mutator cannot detect Rx_Mutator as well.

Funny, really. You sure the editor compiles the scripts right? check renx_game or UTGame for those classes..... unless, oooooh you put it in EditPackages did you? no. you add it in ModEditPackages on the bottom of the list. the order is important so it compiles renx scripts first THEN compiles your mutator

First. it's UDK.exe CNC-[name of map]?mutator=Extra.FasteeHarvies. notice the map included in the command Yeah, you gotta include the map, for example, if you want to run Islands, do it like this : "...\RenegadeX\Binaries\Win32\UDK.exe" CNC-Islands?Mutator=Extra.FasterHarvies Second, extend it from Rx_Mutator instead of UTMutator

what target folder? I mean the top box in properties of a shortcut file

1. Make a shortcut of your udk.exe 2. Open shoetcut's properties 3. In Target box, after UDK.exe, add without space ?Mutator=PackageName.ClassName 4. Ok, then open that shortcut package name is the main folder where you store your mutator script classes. Class name is the name of the script .uc file

Besides, there is a downside for too many weapons. You can't properly select the weapons you wanted at the right time

You didn't record the C130 and Orca disaster in XMountain, Wolf? I cannot ban Carpediem for raining us with Orcas from his Orca, but we better not invite him to sandbox server anymore, lol

Ditto, you'd need to think of something else to make the map as or more interesting if you're going to remove that feature

I still use Notepad. Soooooo lol ...though if I'm not lazy, I'm gonna open up ConTEXT. It's easier although the portable version sorta has buggy directory UI

Ooooh it's still up, don't worry. Though those XMountain screenshots *shudders*. Note to self, never invite Carpediem to the Sandbox server. I guess whoever's in this server will never look at XMountain the same way again lol

So Dottier and I got bored of the TmX server being unpopulated early European morning, so we decided to fire up the second server and spice it with Sandbox server. Lotsa people came in and started having fun with all the spawning, mostly the A10 dogfights and attempts to fly C130 out to the sky..... until everything went out of hand. Starting with Carpediem. He spammed Orcas and C130s from his own Orca in XMountain. The result? Not so pretty New form of DDoS attack I guess? So yeah, after this I tweaked the mod so you can only spawn one per 2 sec. Tried to make a command to make everything you spawn disappear and limit it to 10 but..... no avail atm I did craft an uber repair gun that will instantly disarm everything, erase neutral and enemy vehicle in a blink of an eye, and best of all REVIVE a structure from the dead. I don't think Obelisk or AGT will be operational after revival, as well as Power Plant, but, meh.... later Also if anyone involved in this shenanigans and took screenshots/videos, feel free to post it here. Textures look awesome Meh, just make one like AGT and Obi. It's doable
