  1. First map, Mesa, 5 minutes in, aaannddd... arties wipe the base. Oh. It's going to be one of THOSE PUGs. ಠ_ಠ Second map, Volcano. We get siege'd early. Terrific... ಠ╭╮ಠ ...but, we get infiltration and kill 2 structures with our base intact! So we just flame rush because they have afk-repairs, and... power goes out... ò_ó ...flip breaker, come back, aannnddd.... Nod lost everything but HoN, and then proceeds to lose that... ͠° ͟ل͜ ͡° [YagiHige-Sama has left the game.] ...maybe they'll reshuffle teams... nah, they'll keep it a massacre. Oh well, not my PUG, not my problem anymore.
  2. I said I can do it, but Kuja just said "new version". I was under the impression he might have added something visual, so the minimap would need that version to make. I should be able to make one, unless someone else wants to take a shot. Was easy enough to make one for Glasses. December is probably an alright time for me as well.
  3. 1) Samurai Warriors is game 1, Samurai Warriors Xtreme Legends is actually Samurai Warriors 2 Xtreme Legends, the Europe title for Samurai Warriors 2 Empires, from what I understand. Could be wrong, but pretty sure at the very least Xtreme Legends is not expansion for original Samurai Warriors. 2) How do you even "expansions" for PS2? They are either a whole game, or they aren't. They came before "DLC" like XBox 360 was known for. 3) Burn the disc or otherwise package the game in an "ISO" format. On that, there are guides on Google for, which will probably take you to EmuParadise because they have lots of guides for using DaemonTools to backup discs as ISO files on computer. It's worth mentioning, that the website also has ISOs, two of which being Samurai Warriors and Samurai Warriors 2 Xtreme Legends. 4) Lastly, PSX isn't always a PS2 emulator. Make sure you have something like PCSX2 or something that is actually a PS2 and not PS1 emulator. You'll likely also need a bios if it's PS2, which you can dump from a double-sided USB to your computer from a console-PS2. Also worth mentioning EmuParadise might have a bios file as well, you'd probably find that through Google as well.
  4. To be fair, that's exactly what happened, but even IF they remembered to repair, I was in Ref at full health when it died. They couldn't repair, avoid me killing them, AND diffuse my c4, while tanks shot outside and I shot MCT from inside. It had "death insurance", if you will. Same with the WF nuke, though Boi's death insurance was necessary for that, as the death itself was being diffused without his interference. Excellent dive-in on his behalf though, without him it'd have to be up to the tanks to do work while the nuke distracted.
  5. I think infiltrators should but put on a squad, and the commander can merely tell their squad leader to do field repairs when infiltration isn't likely. You can have divisions, while having divisions do different things than just one thing. Instruct them back and forth on the fly. This PUG was not as valuable as sleep would have been...
  6. This is generally why I'd say split even the "field" into 3 man squads. That way, if any of them need to bounce around, they can let their squad know concisely, rather than try to communicate with 20 people simultaneously. There is very little that it'd hurt for 12 mid-field players, to be split up into 3-4 squads.
  7. I sometimes do branch-off attacks if I feel benefit in them. Hard to separate people on the fly in channels to accomplish this. However, I suppose this could actually work, if you were separated at game start/join, in groups of 3, where: ---players can only hear/speak to their squadmates ---squad leaders can hear/speak to squadmates and other squad leaders This way, groups of 3 can quickly switch roles, but they can also work together with other groups of 3 to fight in field (for instance, 3 groups of 3 makes 9 working for tank warfare, and a 4th group for specifically field repair). You can accomplish this in Teamspeak 3, by having 7 channels a team, 1 channel a squad, and having all squad leaders "whisper" each other so they can communicate transcendent of channel limitations.
  8. To be fair, 2 defenders, can also repair/fight infiltrators, because repairs are best used in the field aggressively if the situation allows. Also, you don't want to always be infiltrating, because the time will just dedicate 1 person to do nothing but watch for you. Instead, have them repair tanks occasionally, and occasionally try again later. That way, tanks are more effective, and the guy watching for infiltrators is useless. It's all about not consistently attacking one place, and surging where they least expect it while keeping continuous pressure. That wins games, multi-prong attacks.
  9. Noteworthy that the SBH drew the attention of GDI DURING the infiltration that killed bar. Wasn't planned that way (well, maybe Quinc3y planned it and didn't tell us), but the entire GDI base jumped the SBH and the bar was lost the instant they had all died.
  10. That's what people are asking to delete or remove, in this thread. I don't know why. If not a surrender option, there needs to be a button, in the pause menu, where you can leave the game if it's not going anywhere and you no longer wish to play it, but that's the exit button, and we'd rather not make people quit a server, rather than resolve the darned game. They're going to leave if they can't resolve it, and "git gud" hasn't resolved it yet. Thus, until someone has a "resolution", surrender works, quit crying?
  11. It was bad in the 30's. We forget that the way we react, and the way things run downhill, doesn't mean we should give up, because we aren't going anywhere (well, a grave eventually). We'll get emo, it'll be a phase, we'll get over it, we'll probably not descend into "racial/misogynistic wars" and will probably treat humans like humans and become more fiscally responsible and level-headed from it. Goodness only knows, we need yin and yang, we need protections for everyone to be everything they were born as and/or want to be, but we also need to quit dividing people by the same things, just because they are different in whatever way, doesn't mean they don't function as people with the same basic living requirements. When the liberals themselves are this hostile and blood/war-thirsty, we know we need to calm the fuck down. Did I mention legalized marijuana? Seriously, if we do that as a country, maybe we actually CAN just calm the fuck down and lay off the over-governing people thing. It's really the only thing we're afraid of Republicans/Trump doing, over-governing and using law to prosecute those they find "weird".
  12. It's funny, how this is still funny. I really do think once the people currently over 48 die of natural causes, politics are going to be way more "reasonable". Like a democratic-socialist, versus a candidate who wants restricted-government-involvement.
  13. That's racist towards the water though. (☞ಠ ͜ʖರೃ)☞
  14. Players hate dying when the game's already decided, waiting idly for games to change, and being kicked when down. Players are less likely to depopulate a game, if they at least get to participate in helping end the game. Not sure which is easier to code; Team-switching for surrender, or friendly-fire-enabled for surrender. Bet if friendly fire was enabled for a team, it'd end in 30 seconds because they'd just c4 their own MCTs, and they'd be able to shoot each other but I don't see too much harm in that. Does the engine ignore kills/deaths to friendly fire? I was under the impression it already did.
  15. Well, you add almost 2 minutes, by having the buildings take automatic gradual damage 1% a second (along with disabling healguns). You know, another way it can be done, is force-switching everyone on surrendering team, so all 40 can destroy the base together, and then switch the teams back right at score screen.
  16. Also, just wanted to point out, Recreational Marijuana was just legalized in 3 more states, making Washington, Colorado, Nevada, California, AND Massachusetts, 1/10th of the country, pot-friendly. I hope Trump is "renegade" enough to step over his party and legalize it federally. Slim chance, but fuck if we aren't making progress, and Trump isn't even a "politician" so it isn't impossible for him to make rash judgements for shits and giggles, like legalizing marijuana. If anything good can come from this, it's a shot in the dark, but it'd be that. Well, that, and the collapse of both current major parties, as more open-minded republicans become libertarian, while untrusting democrats become either "progressive" or green party.
  17. Just throwing this out there, but just disable structure healing for the surrendered team. All damage is permanent, nothing else matters, a team will eventually win and very quickly, if structures cannot be repaired at all. OR, if it's easier coding, remove repair guns for surrendered team, same effect.
  18. Neither candidate is supportive of full aggressive slaughter of any demographics. Both are pretty corrupt in their own ways. Hillary wasn't fully pro-women or pro-lgbt or pro-minorities, she was willing to say so for the votes. Trump isn't a politician, probably shouldn't be considering how vulgar and rash he is. There were two bad candidates. While both bad, neither were Hitler, but just in case you needed a comparison anyway...
  19. Was great, but for the love of goats, FIX THE SKY-ROCK ON CRASH SITE! Will not play another PUG against Minji on that specific map again until so. May be a small chance of that situation ever happening again, but I'll definitely "disconnect because internet went out" if it does.
  20. I don't think you know how math works. If, out of 100 games, Nod wins 1 every 10, they'll win 10, and GDI will win 90. That's literally 90 GDI/10 NOD...
  21. I will not be to Saturday one because daylight savings has not started here and since it started there it sniped the only hour I had to do it in. If that happens to other people, don't be surprised to see slight drop in attendance. Will not be at Sunday one, because I'll be here on TS3 but won't expect to get in. Maybe I will, but I certainly won't plan on it and get my hopes up.
  22. If it requires a vehicle to do, it'll probably not be easy/possible in a real game. Also, the sticking rock to the tank requiring re-entry, is true of every rock on the hill on Whiteout if you hit them going downhill into them. You need to leave-reenter to pry them free.
  23. With classes not having c4, you need to severely buff their everything for them to be even a fart of effectual presence. I'd only go for it, if assault rifles did 2 health to heavy armor for every bullet. And that's NOT unrealistic compared to the original C&C, infantry gunfire could kill a tank in 20 seconds of sustained fire, even if they were just bullets. Just, the gunfire killed other infantry in 3 seconds.
