  1. uhmm.... yeah you got sniped a lot. but 12 GDI players doing nothing but shooting structures with tanks & gunners? erm... no.
  2. hmmm, all in all well done, but you need to rework most of the boulder collisions. Most of them are "useless" for glitchers, except to annoy the enemy or lure them at the other side of the base for distraction, but 1 collision glitch will get a certain building (Ion) will upload the screens within the next hour I guess PS: once again I tried to get out of the map. failed again ############################################################## EDIT: so here are the screenshots... Floating grass etc.: [T.O. screens] GDI side GDI side Nod side Stuck spots: you can get out of there by JUMPING/CROUCHING (but not all the times) 100% stuck, there is absolutely nothing but suicide / getting killed / enter a nearby vehicle to get out of there Infantry path vehicle collision near GDI WF: This is no real bug, but some Nod players might get surprised by GDI vehicles rolling over them here: usually the collision is in front of the tank barriers. so GDI vehicles could surpirse Nod infantry here Harvy routes / speed / harving cycle time / whatever you want to call that: 1. Dump: Nod harvy dumps ~23s before GDI harvy starts to dump 3. Dump: GDI harvy has a delay (to Nod harvy) of ~ 54 seconds Nod-Harvy-Route: ~ 2:50 min GDI-Harvy-Route: ~ 3:08 min Usually the harvesters get destroyed a lot, so this is a bit theoretical, but... if the Nod harvy survives they have an enormous time advantage (at least in my opinion ) Was that intended or not? By killing harvesters the team kind of balance the different harvy times anyway & a slow / fats harvy at start can both have advantages / disadvantages (attacking / defending them) Bad boulder collision - nuke / ion glitch: Ok, I masked the screens above as they are not that interesting. You can glitch nukes / ions into the boulders but they can't hit a building. BUT... of couse they can be used for distraction / annoy the enemy team... and on all the posted screens nukes / ion vanish COMPLETELY. you can't see them (not even the blink) but you can hear em... though some players have problems with that Last but not least: Ion -vs- Airstrip: uhm yeah... I chose on of the bigger boulders so the Ion gets 100% out of sight... but... yeah. I died, Strip survived Next try: partly visible - Nod players can disarm it but have to hold position / disarm the beacon from a certain point of view... Kabooooom! to enjoy the Magic Mushrooms you need to enable * Post Process Effects* ! Regards, Sn4ke
  3. if I think of the Saturday PUG Whiteout match... well.... you got our WF.. noone needs strip / wf to win all you need in RenX is $ & Bar / HoN (at least on most map)

  5. hmm, yesterday evening I've downloaded the new City version & Walls_snowing. unzipped -> moved to RenX directory.... started RenX -> CRASH!!! dunno what happened.. and I doubt that the maps had anything to do with it... I fixed the game by resetting it (rebooted and everything but RenX wouldnt start without a reset ) there wasn't even an error msg, just the black starting screen (after you have the small RenX Loading Screen on your desktop) with the hourglass (win10 circle thing)

  7. we saw your arty rush coming, so our gunners shot at you a.s.a.p. and I jump down to remote c4 one of the arties. with gunners on top (same side as the arty rush) and no LCG / Sniper cover thi rush was bound to fail
  8. hmmm, pretty much the same as every Saturday PUG, imbalanced teams. Kryp 3 : 1 Voltex Xmountain & Volcano was... annihilation of Voltex's team. I think we lost Islands because the team didn't really care anymore and everyone just did their own thing. And Whiteout... well. Black Power.
  9. @Madkill40 Well, if Lakeside (hopefully) becomes a Tanker map, this is no longer necessary
  10. This is no Silo bug, but a tech building bug. Can happen with any kind of tech building.

  13. it's the mappers job to make good maps, not the devs.. personally, I doubt that the devs (apart from the mappers among them) would work on City as it's just extra work

  15. nah, for flying vehicles he has to fix the map. too many "getting to unitended places with aircraft" spots left
  16. Not sure if I remeber it correctly, but I think that in the original Renegade it was much easier to control the field against Apaches / Orcas on City_Flying. Imo the Ramjet Rifle did more dmg to flying vehicles (didnt play Renegade for ~10 years so I might be completely wrong ^-^) With the current City version I'd prefer a non_flying City. But both could also be an option (as in the original Game with all flying maps..)

  18. suicide spot origin: Lava Bubbles char flickering [?] stuck under hovercraft bad collision on WF top (emplacement) due to missing collision... I blame Gliven for that glitched c4 taking no dmg log spam after destroying CCTV MCT Wanna know where the lair is? Go and play the map to find out Regards, Sn4ke PS: sorry for the late posting...
  19. that's been fixed the map is "ready to play" but... as you can see here @Ruud033 had so many ideas that @Madkill40 might be busy until Christmas But then he can finally release a nice present to th RenX community (at least I hopse so..) and yeah, from what I know the map will be included in the next patch so no noob can complain about "how to dl / install a custom map???!!??"
