  1. Sorry Yagi, but I have to say: you don't know what you're talking about in that case - beause you couldn't take part in Saturdays PUG. The teams were balanced! And apart from the players I wrote about everyone fought until the bitter end. Read the recaps. Re-read my posts this Saturdays PUG. Nod won because they defended harder. And they had 2 players with combined] 196 kills [combined death ~40]. But even though the teams were balanced! GDI had armor break bonus on HoN [0 health left!] and another building for a very long time. But Nod had the superiority on vehicle kills -> Early Elites & Heroics soon after [side-effect of the building VP nerf]

Everything is fine between you & me [I hope ]. I was just frustrated because of that issue during the Saturdays PUG. As I wrote above and in other posts before. The PUG was good, intensive and a map balance test
  3. @YagiHige Okay, I may have reacted a bit too oversensitive. But I won't apology for my post here, let me explain though: - I stated my opinion as factual as I could [yes, I was annoyed about something -> I was pissed ] - I didn't insult anyone, nor did I mention any names - I joined the PUGs to experience dedicated, organized teamplay. [Sorry for the many *I's*] If I remember correctly @YagiHige you quit the PUGs due to imbalanced teams causing 1 team to lose ~90% of the time [sorry if I got that wrong] - and even as a community moderator you left pretty pissed posts here. The last few weeks, now even months, the PUGs are great as f*. I think there was only 1 occasion which was very imbalanced due to bad team communication on 1 team, ending with a commander-ragequit. But all in all the PUGs improved a lot! Before that, I literally quit the Saturdays PUGs [too many people, not much fun] and only played the Sunday ones. Then at some point I decided to be a dedicated healer. Which is an unpopular job, even if you conquer the heart of any tanker [if you react in time... sorry Jessca & Kryp ]. So the only annoying thing during organised RenX PUGs is the tendency of people to lament about stalemate matches. Stalemate because the teams are balanced. And because of the map - which needed a [almost] 40 player PUG test. Regards, Sn4ke
  4. @Ruud033 tested your fixed_door_version with Try. spaceship door sound seems to be fine now. maybe a bit too gentle but that's a matter of taste. Found more stuck spots, will post screens tomorrow. [might need another test session at full length though]

  6. Guess Reservoir needs an airstrip update too. Got no light collisions so far, while other maps have that. [at least I've seen that on Field too..]

  9. Please reconsider your logic. Let's make that comparison more simple. Take a look at your posted screen. Compare your marked GDI base with the marked Nod base. Now take airstrip -vs- weapons factory scale into account. What exactly is your point? main reason for that is the airstrip scale (imo)

  11. Reservoir = 20 FPS in base and 12 FPS on Field for me
  12. proxy mines slightly subside into the HoN floor. If you crouch you can't disarm 'em even if you trigger em [aim higher and it's possible though...]. @Henk fix that please. is base level slightly lower then map level? dunno what caused that

  14. Oh guys, I forgot to mention something. IF certain people can't stand a 1h+ match they should consider to leave PUGs forever. I'm serious, those people shouldn't even consider to join a PUG in the first place. PUGs are organized games. You fight until the end. You fight until the enemy defeats you or your WHOLE team (or the CiC) decides to !surrender. IF you want to surrender because you are personally bored you're a bad teamplayer and should go to sleep. Instead of SPAMMING the world chat constantly with complaints about such a long match you should HELP your TEAM. Keep your mouth shut and play on, help your team whereever you can, but don't spend time on disturbing other people playing RenX. Thx for your attention. PS: the latest Reservoir release needed that kind of testing. Cuz there is no way the mapper & the testers could test that setting. @ the Commanders: please give @Henk a nice report about the map balancing. THX a lot!

  17. why? just block it the same way Ref Roof / HoN-Hand is blocked. if someone wants to place the adv. pp on a flying map a killzone like that could piss off players if they accidently crash into it. you want to lower the prices when it's destroyed?

  21. then make some schedule suggestions Try got no account here but hes reading the forums regularly. And: everyone is welcome to join the Test Server anytime. Just respect the general rules of decency and don't try to fuck up the testings. About more (testing) people. Well, actually it doesn't matter how many players are testing. Testings could be done faster and ofc 12 eyes see more than just four, but that depends on your testing pattern. Most players just walk around new maps reporting everything they happen to stumble upon, while e.g. Try has a experienced MO. Also you should know some basic stuff about vehicle physics, mapping material [e.g. basalt rocks], collisions etc.
  22. most sneakers are solo players. There are only a few duos or even trios and those are usually using TS. But exactly THIS @Hohndo is the point. RenX is a team based tactic shooter. Sneaking is fun yeah. but mostly just for 1 person (the successfull sneaker) yeah and his team is happy too... but for the other team a single player is spoiling all the fun because he maybe just had a pinch more luck than the defender (if there is one). Also, there are different ways of "defending". e.g. shotgunners / SBHs / Chemicals camping Walls Tunnels (GateKepper / knabis etc.) or. camping certain key buildings 24/7 (Boomer) or "active defence" -> trying to defend all buildings, always running around (scanning GDI), building check if mines were lost etc.
