  1. Is it possible to also add entering the strip through the tower? It still seems that a lot of ppl dont know how to do that... (Or remove it/make it more obvious)

  3. Yes, at the beginning of this week, the launcher was unsuccessfull to update for ~3 days.... (Finally managed to do it yesterday)
  4. Another option could be to donate for a specific unit to be bought. (mayb up to a percentage, possibly default 50% donator/ 50% player) Could be done from the donate menu: Donate for meds/mrls/gunner/ion... If someone uses the buy menu after that, you see that some units have already been paid in part and you can get them by paying the other part...
  5. It happens when you join a game, where a tech building has been captured at least 1 time - this often messes up the icons...
  6. Well, you can still show active laser systems on the map... The main problem with the mining system for me is, that it enlargens the already the learning curve for Ren-X (which is already very high) and that early game rushes are not deterrable. (which makes game with less than 10 players even more pointless) If the mining system is properly explained in a tutorial or otherwise, and some basic mines were preplaced (or something) it could stay the way it is. But as this is also not easy to do, a change is probably better - if we ever want to attract and also keep more players playing Ren-X. If we are already contempt and just say: "These fucking noobs should just learn to mine on their own" the player influx will stay low
  7. Is it me, or is the lighting in the buildings kind of dark? It seems far too dark inside, almost as it my gamma was all the way down..

  10. Well maybe still allow them to move, but give them full accuracy only when fully zoomed in...

So to sum this thread up: Add more time and visibility to Map-related votes and change the surrender into something more rewarding for the winners: So while setting the winning team to Heroic and the losing team to recruit why not also defuse all proxies of the surrendering team, disable their purchase terminals and give every player of the winning team 5000 creds or something ;-)

    K/D in Renegade-X is usually a terrible measure for worth to the team... (with the exception of the best snipers like poi, minji....)

Hi, Not a big issue, but maybe easily fixable: Quite often when I get damaged by somebody on the field but manage to get away (or the damaging person is killed) but end up dead after some time anyway (falling of cliff, lava, tiberium, suicide) the kill gets attributed to the last person anyway. This is sometimes kind of goofy. (as it has happened long after the person damaged me) Possibly, the time that a kill is recognized for the last damaging player could be lowered to the max time of burning/chem damage. (or other suggestions for this)
  16. Some kind of lounge mode, or a player queue in the launcher, which lets all ppl join when a threshold of players is reached would be great...
  17. 2 small bugs: When entering a game where a silo has already been captured, the silo icons are not displayed at the owning faction (or are not refreshed correctly) When you progressed at least 1 rank, a freshly produced apache does not have the right amount of ammunition, only after reloading once. (possibly also applies to orca and mrls)
  18. Honestly, i have no problem with the mining explode or disarm sound and i dont know how the disscusion turned in this direction. I only have a problem with the non intuitive mining system and its inherent overmining by newbies/trolls. Every 7 lost pub games, a game is lost ONLY due to stupid mining/overmining/lack of understanding where to put the mines which is just really frustrating... In a PUG- like game, the mining system is alright, which is a bit of a problem in this thread, as it seems that several ppl in this thread mostly argue due to their experience in PUG games. (with 99% very good players) The mechanics should be, however not targetted at pro players only, but also at new players. (If we ever want more than 1 active server... (any new system could have the same alarm volume IMO, there s no problem with that..)
  19. I agree 100% - I don't care what system is used in the end, be it predefined mine zones, laser systems... The main problem is, that as a newbie it is hard enough to learn all the units and the layout of the maps without having to learn about the specifics of mining which building were exactly. It is frustrating to see a building go down without any presignal - if a newb sees the building def systems (to take care of) it is immediately clear what to do...
