Problem of unbalanced teams (skills) at the start

In my opinion, it boils down to separate areas: AFK at the start of the game Putting everyone that is AFK in a third invisible team would already be a big improvement. Wrong team allocation Sometimes people are moved to the wrong team that has a lower amount of players. Maybe this happens due to score difference, but IMHO this should only happen after a significant score difference. Maybe the game could track the score per minute of each player internally and use this as a ranking instead of the total score. Especially in long games there can be a huge difference. Use the average of the VP of both Teams as starting VP In long games, players that join the worse team, get even more penalized by getting less starting VP. (as they get the average VP of their team) In the long run, this also makes it harder for a team that is far behind in VP to catch up and make a comeback. In my opinion, the average VP of both teams should be used as the base for the calculation for the VP of a new joining player. -

Maybe team only taunts as long as you are in a building of your own team? Also, sometimes the kill taunts give you away when running ppl over with a stealth tank -

AFAIK they only get reset 2 times a year now, when Daylight Saving Time is set and reset. -

isn't there already delay of about 10 minutes before players are considered afk? So if the match just started, you can only be afk 10 minutes in, even if you were afk the match before? -

You can instead write "against teammembers", so its two words If you want to add additional info you can use the EVA Messages and display them bigger, or not? -

Current Messages when getting in for the first time or locking it are: $Vehicle auto-bound. Press [L] to toggle lock on driver seat. Hold [L] to unbind. $Vehicle driver seat locked. Maybe they can be changed to something like this, to make it more clear: $Vehicle auto-bound. Press [L] to toggle lock against your team. Hold [L] to unbind. $Vehicle driver seat locked against your team. -

Normally it stays locked even when getting out, so you can just lock it once and forget about it. Although it would be really clarify the UI- Info-Text about locking, so that new players don't think that it is locked against enemies. (which is implied by "Locking" IMHO) -

Ren- X depends mostly on Single Thread CPU Power, so it should run. (but you may need to downgrade some graphic options to the integrated graphic chipset) Maybe someone can weigh in, how good it runs on the UHD 620, but i would definitely give it a try -
Maybe just rename Mineban to "Player X wants to Disallow Player Y from mining during this match".

For me, Lakeside is the best map, as due to the 2 silos and the separated inf path and the multitude of other paths you always have the chance to win it. (regardless of lost buildings) You are newer truly locked in base and can always get back in game. In general, i like maps with multiple paths like Walls, Field X, Eyes..

Quite often, when doing a chinook rush, it's difficult to score points as pilot. (if you are not willing to give the heli to the the enemy) So, it would be great to participate in the scores that the other passengers achieve in the minute after exiting. (so that buying a chinnook for rushing is not only selfless but can also reward the pilot)

A first step in the right direction would be to not place AFK people into a team, but require any interaction before doing that. Quite often one team has a lot of AFKs at start and gets rushed, so, game almost over

Game takes a bit long to start up.

Is there any chance you use Avast Antivirus? For me, since some weeks it delays the start of Ren-X for some reason (does not happen if i whitelist the UDK 64 binary or disable it during starting) -
No, the UDK Engine is heavily dependent on single Core power, so it's usually a CPU limit.

Vehicles (especially Mammoth) getting stuck

Also, when driving a stealth tank with a speed crate it becomes undriveable - it just jerks around wildly (this crate is more of a downgrade with stank) -
Often the problem is on full 64 player servers with a low vehicle limit. GDI can get 8 mammooths, but Nod needs more than 1 vehicle to counter a mammooth, so its much harder for them So, maybe set a higher vehicle limit for nod on non flying maps?
