  1. First of all: thanks we have a server stable now, great job! About this weeks PUG: I think it was fun, but not as good as the last two weeks, still I am not having bad feelings about this one. Sidenote: people shouldn't blame others / specific players personally for trying non standard attacks. Blaming people doesn't make the PUG more fun and it's kinda ridiculous to pretend those persons ruin the game. After all the 'odd' attacks we did worked above tanks... So the game: Volcano was good and showed what teamwork could do. After camping the cave (and failing on saving the harvester) we managed to C4 the ref from the outside and hit the WF with remotes from inside. Than, after half our base got slaughtered, we did a rocketrush with 10 ~ 15 people. It really, really showed the strenght off good teamwork. Xmountain also had great teamwork at the start, but was too much camped by NOD if you ask me. We never got enough vehicles and if we had them we had no repairs. We even, for some reason, launched a mammy rush but than every vehicle drove in seperate and died without doing damage. Trainingyard was quitly differend and intense, but this is where stuff went down the drain. After some casual attacks we killed the WF. First we C4ed it from the outside, but later we managed to get in and kill it. After this we launched an SBH rush for the barracks, but someone decided to jump from a hill instead of taking the normal road and 10 ppl followed from which a few ones used a parachute (!): stealth gone. Than we went through their base and got slaughtered. We should have hit the bar at once instead of sidetours. The other attacks all failed. While sneaking in with rocketsoldiers someone failed to stick to the plan and started shooting an engineer or something at the silo, surprise gone. An SBH rush got killed the same way and vehicles did get no support and top it we kept handing them over our tanks. Finally we did a stankrush which also failed cause half the group decided to wait and enjoy the beach. This is where people got frustrated (including me). Whiteout: not sure, someone decided for a rocketrush and tried but half the team didn't pay attention to teamchat and it was kinda chaotic. Really, really not sure what happened but we surrendered. I can't pick what the reason was the team didn't work, but I think one part was that there was no clear plan. Ok we did a flamerrush for example, but we never got engies and more of these plans failed cause we forgot some details. When it comes down to defense we were pretty good with repairs and stuff, but as soon as we attacked we lost the consistency.
  2. There is a discussion on CT about this, and.... I think, but I am not sure, you played field with us yesterday? The ref went down the first minute of the game and GDI tried some med rushes, but within ten minutes half the team turned into snipers. I noticed at least 7 (!) but maybe more of them. Meanwhile Field lasted forever without ANY attack attempt anymore. Meanwhile I got shot like 80 times while trying to enter the tunnel or sometimes even when I moved out of a building. One or two snipers can be handy to kill engies repairing a vehicle, but this was just really horrible. I think ONE of the reasons is that snipers don't benefit the team if they are just for kill farming, People rather scored some headshots than help the game advance and quite some people left cause of this... Another reason is that a sniper can headshot you from like 1CM in front of him / her. I don't think snipers will be removed, but I think they will get adjusted so they work like a real sniper and are more usefull at a longer range and less when you have your gun almost hanging into someones mouth. Or maybe a hard limit on the amount you have. Noticed the same scenario on trainingyard. WF went down and Nod got like 7 snipers hanging out the window (this was last week) only to score kills instead of making the game move to the next stage...
  3. Yesterday there was a dude (CBRRIDER) who got kicked three times in a row but still returned only to start overmining again. I think he didn't notice the kicks nor the 100 messages about it.... So can't wait for the next update!

  5. The only weather type which allows you to NOT join is an apocalypse, unless it's too cold to score beers ofc.

  10. Yeah I rembember that, it's like a big board saying 'shoot me.' The mammy is too slow the evade anything, and the range is too short to hit anything when arties outrange you... But thanks for the comments, If the team didn't organize anything than maybe other people can stand up and try to do it. We had games where 'team B0NG' had B0NG as a teamleader, but also where the team just fluidly worked together. And if this didn't happen some else tried to arrange teamwork.
  11. So tell me, I understand losing isn't fun, but for us it felt like pretty balanced. We had to fight hard to make it to a win (but last week was indeed more fun). If people do not cooperate, what is the reason? And if this happens every week than I am in for some blaming and shaming (in a polite way) so we can approach the people ruining the teamplay in order to advice them to cooperate next week. And if it doesn't work we might as well ban / kick them. I am not up for that now and I don't decide about it. Any specific players blocking / ignoring teamwork?

  14. Get a new phone But serious. This PUG wasn't as good as last weeks one, but still very much fun. Yeah I was on the winning team, but we had to fight HARD for it and even won on a map by surrender while the enemy still had a (small) chance. After all the teams were pretty balanced (like last week), but last weeks PUG was just the top of the bill. For some reason things have changed in the last 2 PUG's and it isn't the easy winning team vs the hardly existing competitor. People have to do a lot off effort to make the most out off the game and I like it!

  19. I think airdrops will be restricted to humvees, apcs and buggies in the next patch. At least that's what Yosh mentioned...
  20. Again: Brotranquilty and Thommy, plz find who has been working on this map and team up. There might be like 5 unfinished versions of the map....
  21. Than make it ready and safe the rest for the patch after the next patch? Walls Night might be fun, but even easier for NOD I guess?
  22. Still it doesn't matter. I like the way we lost and were so focuses on getting points.... But why not release the next update like uhm now?
  23. This why I am glad about last weeks PUG. Teams were balanced, the week before it was like Russian Roulette with 6 bullets in a 6 bullet chamber... We'd either lose or lose.... Can't wait for the footage of this week, I think Eyes will be so cool to see us lose after we tried everything. Was so intense!
