Nope we didn't, most of our hotties got shot and at certain points we needed to push far out the base to reach for the arties pointwhoring the ref while 5(!) people had to repair the ref in order to keep it alive. The arties where just shooting from such a long range that we had to choose on sacrificing vehicles or losing a building. Past few weeks people suggested this was a GDI map, but if Nod controls the tunnel and camps the front with arties and flamers there is almost nothing you can do as GDI to break the siege.

This was a good one! We lost all 3 rounds before I had to leave but it was fun cause their was good teamwork. Only Island sucked (the new field...?)Nod could point whore us from a great distance while we couldn't reach them, meanwhile they just were able to protect their base by camping tunnels and sieging the field, while we had to protect too many places (tunnels, sbh spots, field where we were sieged from). Too bad we didn't win any off the rounds, but the best PUG if you ask me. Also great support by team in any action we took. Good control (as far as the enemy let us), nice repairs, a lot off 'special operations.' Fun

Can't make anything out of the log. Yeah I can see things and I understand some files aren't loaded. Maybe two suggestions: - What if launch a game from inside a game? - What does a fresh install do? So the whole game after a new download and than update? Hope someone else has better suggestions

You know what might be cool? A map gives an x- amount of credits every second per silo. So let's say 0.5 credits per second per player now. What if the map just gives 20 credits per silo per second divided over the team. This way: - You can get heavier units quicker when this map is played 5 vs 5 cause if every team has one silo it will gain 20 credits per sec = 4 credits per person per second (aka 240 in a minute). This will make it that someone can get a fairly strong minute in 2 till 4 minutes. - When you play 20 vs 20 you have the 'team element and the benefit of playing with large numbers.' Every person would gain 1 credit per second if you follow the above formula. This would make the map more suitable for small teams (more money per player) and larger groups. Right now it's cool with 15 vs 15, but really boring with 5 vs 5. Not to mention if one team has a sniper making spawnkills... -
So what is your question? I think this post could use some more details. Is it how to play tiberian sun vehicles in Renegade-X, or? For this question the answer is: find them in crates or run a mutator to buy them!

We started it cause it was discussed on TS. The problem is every question took an hour to get answered and everything was chaotic. Even a rush which was announced did not lead to anyone responding. Suggestions: Tell the rules BEFORE start. This is a team effort and if you want to play you have to act like it Make the teamleader a priority speaker Assign people for specific tasks (like I was a defender the whole freaking map 2 PUG's ago. Boring but effective). And listen to eachother.

I am currently making another video and hopefully more in the future. However I am just a producer, once I release them its really up to the viewers to share them. Yeah but you are doing a good job. What the game really needs is a people like you who use their own knowledge, ideas and enthusiasm to create a product with passion (God I hate the word passion when people use it my field of work as a USP). What might also help is to keep an archive so some videos with a specific subject can be released around a specific happening.

Sorry I didn't have time to post here earlier. I have some ideas for promoting the game, but first other things need to be done: - Reply on Facebook questions / comments in the originale Facebook Page (now people are ignored) - bugfixes (remotes not reloading, SBH floating bug and some other minor stuff, we are getting somewhere) - The game could use a 'helpdesk team.' Right now community developers are busy with a load off things, but what if we have small group of people helping gamers with updates and fresh installs? Some knowledge and something like remote desktop might be enough - More maps (some of the originals and custom ones) - More gamemodes: - Sniper mode should be easy addable with 2 maps now available and I think Valley can be a sniper map also - Deathmatch, not only Deck, but I think the sniper maps and Valley can be turned into DM maps easily - And maybe assault / CTF I think other game modes will lead to players trying the 'original' game mode as well. Please note you can buy models for maps as well on several site. What if the community gets to pick a theme and donate for the models to get the map going? If the base of the game is covered and when the game doesn't get released on Steam or somewhere else these are steps we can take: - New website with Facebook comments / AddThis / Social Media Share buttons along side a way to react like with the forum 0 - Get more videos going (LavaDragon?) - Try to become a non-profit and benefit from Googles FREE ad-words. - Spread links to the game over communities with many players. Look for C&C communities, RTS and FPS communities) - Offline promotion including a press release per country to game magazines and media - Social Media campaign funded by gamers to reach Cnc / Ren-X gamers. A few hundred euro's / dollars could target a large group of them which don't know about the game - Newsjacking or specific photos / videos around certain events. Black Friday expansive enough? We offer you a new map for free! Can't come with a good explanation, but this one off the ways to gain a lot of media attention and reach potential games. I think the community has everything we need, we just need to organize it.

I got it fixed myself with the manual patch, but yeah I always run things as administrator. I don't think it's the launcher btw, but the server where the file was located. Google docs made me download it in seconds while the launchers server was slow. Guess either too many connections or someone tempering with it. As mentioned: I fixed it myself but some people just said: "Can't update, no Ren-X for me" without looking for a solution. Glad I spoke them and we fixed things by the manual patch. -

Sorry, but if there's no teamwork how can you even get past the turret? I mean you need 5 people at least to take it down while one can repair. I like the fact that the map is very open, I don't like it's unplayable with 'solo 4 life' gamers. Yesterday 3 out of 10 people did something that benefit the team. I don't have to mention we lost the PP easily. What if BOTH teams have only 3 players trying AND there are base defences? Stalemate from beginning... Weapons pickup should be on any map if you ask me -

Had this yesterday, speed dropped 10 times and than stopped. Closed launcher, restarted and the download resumed but the same happened. Closed launcher again, download started from beginning. Than this happened several more times so I just downloaded the manual patch which I knew about -
Hello, As mentioned yesterday: The launcher doesn't load this update (yet) and I have had a few questions off people I know in real life about this. Non of them considered checking the site. I think the launcher should show the manual update possibility also. We have a small but dedicated playerbase and I think most people will find the patch, but we can also lose people with this. Edit: Just when I post this the launcher works. Maybe this was just an issue yesterday. Still good to consider!

So far I like it, but the money indeed takes a while for you have it, even with more silos. It's quite different and have to see how it turns out with players who dont play together. Today Nod was just camping the PP for half the game but a teameffort managed to kill it. -
Think apc bar thing got fixed or was that only bar in tunnels?

I heard a friend of mine saying he was unable to access the teamspeak channel shortly for the match when I called him, he received time-outs. Yeah but this had nothing to do with B0NG, but with many of the players. A few weeks ago B0NG was on top of things and the team anticipated (what they lacked now) Example: "There might be somewhere there, go check it out!" And person A and B left to do it and NOT the whole team together or nobody. The same friend as mentioned above told me that Bananas had dedicated roles for everything. People where on top off things and scouting / defending. He told me everbody knew his role and performed well in it. I know people think of me as a complainer and I also know I'dd like to strive for things. But if I order a snack aka a normal game I have nothing to expect, but when I try a Michelin Restaurant I might have (at least I hope) higher expectations. I think this is what the PUG is about: serving people a higher standard of the game and teamwork. And yeah maybe I expect to much but it makes me disappointed. Cause maybe when I order the same meal (PUG) by another cook (call it bananas or BONG) it would have turned out completly different. Not even because of the cooks, but because of the ones delivering the food, being the sous-chef, or choosing the wine. In this case team B0NG had a few bad helpers which screwed up the course. But in the end trainees have to learn somewhere I am not interested in blaming someone cause if I was I wouldn't have posted a dedicated post here. I am curious how we can take the hiatus (is that proper English?) out of these PUGS and eventually the whole game. I can live with this and try another time when I am available, but some people will eventually get turned down cause other (team)players join, but not act accordingly. At to be honest: this is not about being a hero or make my ideas work. Last PUG I played I did NOTHING besides mining and defending and I was satisfied. The most boring job made me feel good cause we were finally achieving something as a team, even though the game was close call.

Nope I played the PUG the first 3 rounds before I had to go (need to leave asap) and connection was stable. But again the PUG was (at least to me )disappointing. The first map GDI outpowered Nod on Islands which was a pretty intense fight and was ok. Second map was Lakeside. We got stuck everywhere (should be fixed soon) but also had like 5 people not doing any teamwork. When we arrived (after 10 minutes of waiting) at the strip and were placing beacons someone appeared to be inside and set of c4 and brought the strip down to 10%. Nobody on our team knew he was in. We wasted 2 beacons there while we had the chance to outside c4 the strip which we didn't, cause nobody used to listen on teamspeak. Two weeks ago the PUG was good and I don't recall who won or lost but we were on top off things and I had the feeling we were ONE team. As soon as the commander named someone was needed at x someone came. Today the PUG was like a few weeks before. At least 1/3rd of the the team didn't respond or tell what they were doing, everything we planned took way too long (if it even happened) and not to mention 'our' team lost 3 matches before I had to leave. I don't mind losing if I have the feeling we had at least an honest chance, but if a rush gets announced on a PUG and there is only ONE person defending I start asking myself what the difference is between a PUG and a normal match. I know it can be different cause everything I tried with the enemy (didnt matter where, when or how) was IMMEDIATLY countered by a swarm of their units. A game / PUG for me is about communication and an honest fight nomatter the outcome, but this was just PUG unworthy if you ask me, sorry... Too bad it might also be one of the last PUGs I can join in a while.
