Lol I was about to post this. Last sunday we had a 4 hours Walls marathon (where you there?) where both teams only had one building in the end (strip vs bar). Cratehunting was important, but hard, spotting would really help in this.

Where did you download the game, cause it has a selfextractor which also runs the installation without any problems.

That won't work, cause the adventage of TS is that you can communicate with each other without typing and otherwise it would devaluate the PUG to a PUB. I think more clear rules are the most important, for example: - If an enemy attack is incoming shout on TS 'rush incoming from bunker to bar (for Xmountain)' for example and not just rush. - If something is urgent use TS like 'hit that building now' - The rest of the communication goes through chat, but the main problem is that nobody reads it and tell us to use TS instead. I know I am one of the persons who talks quite often on TS, but I also know that when it's clear who is leading I just use it for the necessary things and besides I always try to keep chipchat out. For the past 5 PUG's it wasn't clear to me who was in charge of the team and like last time I heard multiple people saying they where the commander. If we get that clear and the rules of communication also it would be cool. I just can't stand simple plans like 'gunner rush' failing cause only 3 people show up, while it's absolutely unclear what the rest does... Usually it's just as the 'pub games' where Nod goes stealth and GDI gets meds and in my opinion a PUG isn't about that, unless it actually works.

Maybe let the IRC bot send this out ingame so people know? We had some discussions on the server and sometimes it was allowed and sometimes not. I can imagine a discussion pops up again. Than it will be finished soon when a mod arrives, but maybe better warn people in advance? -
Yeah i can't find the official feedback topic, but... The map feels like it's nearly done, except: - the map can use some decoration in some places, cause now it feels empty - the tunnels are cool, but maybe they should have some more functionality? - the WF near the tunnels is kinda pointless right now, cause vehicles get delivered to your own base. I think it should have a more 'usefull' function than just a refill station. Overall I really liked the map, give it some more details like boxes, abandoned vehicles and so on and I think it can be released.

I (still) think about this exactly the opposite way. In my opinion everyone can suggest things, but one (or two people) should make the call based on suggestions and input from the team. That doesn't mean you need a leader who organizes everything into details, but just someone who gives basic guidelines like 'get stanks' or 'gunners meet bar.' I remember one day I was in 'team B0NG and the only thing I did was mine and defend ALL game cause I was assigned to do so. It wasn't a very adventurous round for me, but I like that we all had 'tasks' which would make the team succeed. If people can selforganize it's also fine offcourse, but I don't see this happen (yet).

Overall it was pretty good today, too bad two games where decided by points and not base destruction. I expected more from Eyes though, great map (yeah really Dakuja), but failing communication and campy GDI made the game for us (Nod) hard to win. We even got hit while doing a stankrush cause MRLS where just shooting the whole field to see if something was moving. Overall I think we shouldn't play these games too much on the safe side, cause it takes the fun out off stuff. Also goes for our team, I mean yeah you should respond to mines going down, but having 5 people patrolling for SBH won't make the game more fun.

I am also in the Netherlands and the patch is super fast here, so that's really odd. Hope you will find a solution soon. Perhaps simply unplug and replug your modem to see if that makes a difference?

Commander sounds good, but not based on the amount of points. Why? Noticed this many times before: - take a map where you can shoot the enemy from a great distance (Whiteout, Complex for example) - camp the hill with one arty / mrls - enemy camps the building with 1 / 2 repairs - second arty / mrls gets added - more repairs get added - people keep pointwhoring and the building goes never down People shouldn't be promoted for pointwhoring, but for archieving stuff / working together. If 5 arties move in and a strike a building all together the situation will be: a) enemy has less time to respond and repair it b) the attackers will have less points whored c) the result still is likely permanent damage to the building

Ah there! Thanks, I'll update that in the next round of patching, probably in the weekend or so, have a busy week up ahead Isn't gamebreaking, so wouldn't prioritize this, but it's on the right 'arm' of the ship and than the smaller tentacles.

My suggestion would be tomb indeed and the new Goldrush? Let's don't forget to contact map editors with older and unfinished maps. There are some nice maps which aren't finished yet and could be picked up again!

Ruud: I noticed there are models for Tiberian Sun soldiers ingame, maybe you can make them available from the ships core? More cool would be to have something that damages buildings after a while, so there is really a need to get stuff organized and capture the bridge again. Would force people to actively go for the ship! Will check the ships arms and make screenshots later!

Personally I am still down to setup an entire promoteam for Ren-X, I think there is a topic about this somewhere... Youtube and other social media are great channels!

Two things i noticed: - You can get into the 'arms' of the spaceship cause they don't have collisions.. - if you capture the WF it says: "name captured..." and than nothing. Took me a while before I realized how I could get into the ship btw, from both bases and not from the front itself. Ship looks great to me and the doors are cool and now to slow if you ask me. I know you didn't plan any 'events' in the ship, but I think it would be cool to have something in the control room so the ship is more than just a shortcut between bases.. Ideas, besides ordinary 'silo:' - If you hold the control room for 10 minutes the ship fires a laser instant killing a building from the enemy - Special unit purchasable from bridge. Good luck with finetuning the map, can't wait to play it for real!

Just a small idea and I know if can be hard to realize, but maybe something for the Commander mod? Today we did a few attacks where 2 or 3 useless people kept filling a space in either the chinook or APC. Wouldn't it be cool if you could set a desired loadout for these vehicles? Or maybe allow people only when they have the proper unit. Yeah I know it's a huge amount of work, but after having multiple rushes where people jumped out the vehicle halfway to eat donuts I got really annoyed by a few people just blocking / camping inside your vehicle so you miss one or two driver seats... At least they stayed inside

Hmm first I wasn't sure about these boundaries, but: - Yesterday on whiteout the enemy dropped people over the icerocks near HON and killed it. I spotted it, but offcourse the team didn't react cause they didn't see an orca or someone moving in from the front, so they didn't believe someone was in our base, but those people where... HON gone. - Later we jumped the wall @ Whiteout with a stank and killed the ref. Eye for an eye, but a lame way to change the game if you ask me... It's fairly easy, without getting the out of borders message, to get into the enemy base with stanks on Whiteout, didn't really try on Walls. Imo it should be removed, otherwise we could also use the 'see SBH' bug if that's still around. I mean the argument from most people is that it's been created (accidentally) by the developers, so allowed. I know when we lost HON via that way that people started to ragequit. -
