None, cause I am not really into cocktails. But for festivals mochito used to be it, gin tonic is now the most popular mix. You can also make a 'raketje' just like the ice cream. Look it up but it contains three layers with bacardi razz (I guess one fifth), Sinas (3/5th) and Coebergh / 'bessen' (or use Flugel in it on top). What's the line-up, anything dnb related?

What time are you usually available Thommy? Than we can check the map with you...

Personally I think the lack of organization is what makes field boring in combination with the design which requires it. It's one of the maps (among Under) which heavy relies on teamwork, since there are almost no solo options. Also Field is especially a map where people tend to snipe. I sometimes encounter above 5 snipers in the game, doesn't make it less stalemat but even more... It can be worse ofc. cause today we had 2 SBH spies who were afraid about base defences (wtf?), so they decided to go afk or something.... Was on Under BTW.

Hmm no clue about the kicker, but I watched a person standing at exact the same spot for a long time, only to see him in another building the round after and so on.... Glad people are checking this topic, hope it leads to something, sorry for the extra work!

I am all down to activate / tweak the AFk system. Few days 3 people where AFK, we vote kicked them and they returned. No reply to chat or whatsoever. I assumed I made a mistake, but checked and at least two persons (from the three kicked) mentioned that they noticed they left the game and that's why they rejoined. The planned on playing later, but wanted to have a spot now. Result: Nod 14 people, GDI 13 with 3 AFK. Not really much fun. The fact is that kicking them on start is different, cause it would also kick people who are away from the PC for a few minutes. Sure if you have to be kicked when AFK for 5 min (if you ask me), but what if you grab a drink between games? And some people tend to forget about a game after one round.... If it's up to me you do not get kicked immediately, but it all is used for balancing teams. No more Volcano or Snow where GDI has 4 or 5 AFK's the first minutes and you get crushed before 1/3rd of the team becomes active...

Hello, Just thought about this. Lately I've seen some games where people were afk during a game, which is hard(er) to spot, but I also noticed a lot of (temp) afk's when a new map starts. I can imagine these people are getting a drink, smoking or whatever, but still they auto join the team. I was curious about the following. You need to press a key to spawn, but why are the people 'auto' joining the game as a zombie PT watcher? Would it be possible that these people enter the server and just not get placed in a team but occupy a server spot until they click. This would prevent teams from starting with 3 or more afks which is especially hard on rushy maps like Volcano. No clue IF this can be easy implemented, but worth a shot. It doesn't hurt the players, but it would make a game start a bit more balanced in some cases. Food for thought!

If people are in to do a test session again...............It will help a lot Send me a PM with some (Dutch times) and I will see if I can make it, maybe some other people also...

Building up veterancy is not a bad idea, but doing so by punishing chance investments, means that team leaders could blame people who even so much as buy them during a PUG. "4 SBH bought beacons and went to GDI base and were caught before planting, that cost us the point lead, what the hell is wrong with you guys!?!" Veterancy that would make progress towards lethality during a stalemate, would be good already, even if beacons don't influence points. I get what you are saying. Now a stalemate isn't interesting cause: a) it doesn't lead to anything b) killing people / vehicles also doesn't lead to anything directly You don't want to punish people for buying a beacon... But on the other hand now people aren't rewarded (at least that's what it feels like) for a kill. Unless you are into sniping all game ofc, which I find rather annoying but some people like ofc. Not sure what the best approach is. Glad people are 'debating' about this here!

Let's plan a test session for this map first... Suggest a few moments, get on TS and look at it with people together?
-
But still, if a game is a stalemate it would be much more encouraging to actively kill persons (or vehicles with a veterancy system)

Since walls is the most played map I think this has to be included in the game. Now you choose Field / Canyon and you get either a night or day version, imagine you choose Walls and have two options: the snowy one and the normal one. Total in for it!

Not a bad idea at all!

In my case I am pretty sure people heard me because: a) I repeated the message(s) numerous times b) My voice is very loud (I am a bit deaf also, so with a headphone on I tend to talk even louder...) c) When I told the mines were gone for example, I also mentioned: I might as well go play a pub if people do not respond. People immediately responded to that... "Well bye" and other jokes... While ignoring the mines... It's just a matter that some people still won't 'acknowledge.' Maybe I shouldn't have higher expectations from a PUG than a PUB, than again it's a shame that if you play a game which is focused on teamwork just lacks one of the basic skills for teamwork: communication. While I know from a few weeks ago that, depending on the players you are with, if can be played with good communication and 'precise' teamwork.

Not much to say about it, except: On Lakeside: "They have apache again.." Minute later: rush their HON and nobody cared about apache. We all know where it lead to. Bad luck and maybe also bad communication, can happen one game... Walls - Commander: "We have 2 SBH, plz confirm that you are one." One person replies, the other doesn't.... Second time asked. No reply... Same with loads of important things on our team... A lot of players didn't care. This was the point where I was afraid it would be single sided again with one team losing all... Goldrush - I was one of the persons mining, but we were to soon at limit. I got the feeling, but never found out, we had someone overmining all game. Never new that you could reach the barracks via WF and river btw... Also cause the map almost never gets played when I am there. Otherwise I had put less mines on the bridge. I also called out the flamerush when it left Nod base. You won't be surprised that people didn't listen and got surprised when it hit our AGT.... Mesa: "Someone screams 'rocketrush' and than nothing. We try to ask where... No answer, untill ref almost got killed. Crowsy was mining, but asked for a donate like 5 minutes when he lost his tech. Again nobody cared. People were also busy flaming eachother, me for example, when I called out mines went missing and left the base (while I had checked the PP first, but not the other buildings). It was more important for them to confront me that I left base, than actually care about mines. We also did some inf. rushes, but it took way to long to get enough people. GJ with the arties in the beginning btw... Field: I gave up and never tried. Announced a few times that I had to leave in x minutes. No reply. Machette did the same thrice, 0 reply...

Hmm, I can't wait to see your other map in action (ofc. you are waiting for some things to be done according to scripting), but I do not have a memory to Glacier atm... I just did a very quick search and noticed that it had a flying and non-flying version, but I can't find any screenshots. Maybe you can freshen up our minds...?

Still, but I never did a full comparison, I find the blue tib rifle way stronger than mobius gun. Last night I killed a WF by hitting MCT with it a Goldrush by just standing at the door for two full magazines (and shooting ofc,)

I get while you like it, it made a hottie / tech more powerfull. Especially in beta1 where you had the weapons for every game after you bought one, but it's also game breaking. Maybe give the silo an extra function which is less powerfull?
-
Yeah keep up the good work Thommy, but also be open for criticism. Kenz could have brought it a bit more polite... Maybe you should see if you can bring the 'old' Trainingyard back. Everybody loved it afaik, except for the pick-ups. Also: do something with the silo route. Maybe make it shorter, make it have more entrance, or make it more attracting at all? Tomb is fine, besides maybe some bugs, if you ask me. I really like the map.

Talking about delay: Suriname.. take it easy! Want a drink in two hours? Just order it now cause it might take a while
-
More important than the commander is that someone should be able to lock teams...
-
He said it was a real impossible thing to do with those assets Sucks... Glad you've been trying. I can only comment from the sideline Thommy. Good you kept working on this!
-
And what about the assets Ruud bought?
-
Is it hard / difficult to give the buildings a texture from a 'modern' skyscraper or something. It would surely benefit the map!
-
Another attempt next week?
