Well... I know you are just angry and probably won't react, but maybe if you want things to become different you should put some effort in your post. Guess it's about snipers and guess it won't change much or maybe not even anything. But you can at least try....

Ha nice! I work as a freelancer in marketing and communication, varying from communication advice to companies to promote their products, till making websites, photos, articles, and so on. Besides work and gaming I like to cook (and also my visitors and my gf like it ), visit musicevents, go for a party or just go out with friends. Besides work I also do some (partly) voluntary stuff varying from helping out local veterans to being on the board (not sure what the correct word is in English) of a youth healtcare organisation or help out with musical events in booking bands, mixing music and whatever comes along.

The vote was there for the map restart, although it was kinda silly. The early rushes destroyed one building (I am not even sure which one) and suddenly the map got restarted, noticed the vote when it was too late... The 'balance thing' is, according to Agent, a experimental feature but it could also be that someone was just trolling. What happened is the message 'auto balancing' appeared and I got moved to GDI (where I just slaugtered 2 buildings). Also it left my vehicle empty to be stolen...

Never noticed this, but I was just playing Tomb (which restarted for some reason by a vote :P). Suddenly, while being in the top 5 or something on Nod and after 20 or 30 minutes of game time, I got switched to GDI with a message saying 'auto balancing'. Before I got switched our team killed 2 GDI buildings. I am perfectly fine with some balancing in the beginning of the game. But I just left when this happened. Assisted in killing two buildings and suddenly I am in the team I was fighting. I understand the need to balance games, but if you ask me this isn't the way. In the end GDI still had a few players less, cause people just kept leaving and so did I. Topic dissapeared? or I didnt save it, created it again...

More important: About the VOIP stuff question itself. It would help out in coordinating a team more precisely sometimes. But since half the team doesn't even use a mic during a PUG (where you are supposed to use one) I doubt this will be very different in a Public Game. For me the commander mod actually helped a lot cause it's clear what the target and plans are. Off course integrating VOIP would be handy, but I am not even sure If I am able to use it all the time cause microphone makes noise (and our house is kinda soundy). I would surely listen to it to pickup information.

Also noticed quite some new players last week. Glad to notice a a lot of them are telling they are new and asking advice and stuff. That way we can help them out!

No unfortunately something which happens during a lot of PUG's. He is either broadcasting (Italian?) recipes cause his mic is open while a women talks to him, or in the background shouting stuff like. "Quick, ref!" , "The Bridge now...." or "O Noo the Powerplant" while you don't know if it's that he needs help attacking or defending. When asked there is never a response.... I can only guess about the reason(s)....

Sorry I had to leave during the last game. Never expected the PUG to last this long. Was good games! Anyone doing recap?

30, more like 5 30, more like 50 @yosh56 said, what I could understand since he sounded like he had vodka , that there is an 'error' or 'glitch' in the banning system which made this occure after / during a human action. Most important thing is that it's fixed for now!

The problem is, which I also stated yesterday, that the there was first a written message which said that people were going towards the bridge, than an EMP message, later that the building was attacked. At that point we had 30 seconds to react which was too late, but if someone would have acted earlier we might have saved it... Shit happens, but maybe we should select key defenders not only by skill but also by the ability to use a microphone. I spotted the written message in teamchat and said it out loud, but I tend to miss a lot of written teamchat when there is also spoken communication.

Actually I didn't organize the rush, but I joined it and it worked That was more luck than anything else, cause someone started shooting the MCT immediatly before we got discovered. Considering Whiteout. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, but I rather go down trying and lose the game than play the same game with the same gameplay over and over again. Mesa and Whiteout matches are basically 90% percent of all the times I played it the same. For me, and I know others think different about it, a PUG shouldn't be only competitive, but also a place for more 'advanced' and 'daring' gameplay. If we lose trying something I probably had more fun than playing a sort of repeat of the same game with the same tactic. Just my opinion offcourse.

Sundays are usually difficult for me. I think I can make it this saturday before the PUG though. I am also down for a regular timeslot during the week, but tried to organize this a few times without any luck.

Sorry didn't check the forum for a long time @Arch-nemesis. I don't like the fact there are, sometimes, like 4 a 5 snipers in one team and especially hate it when one team kills the WF and goes full sniping mode without even trying to finish the game. In my opinion, and I also spoke others about it, the people who have the skill to end the game(s) but who don't use it, are also bad for Ren-X. I would rather see them go to a sniper server. On the other hand it's not their fault that they are good with a sniper and 90% of the players is not. Afaik I never accused someone of aimbotting... But yes, I am not a big fan of snipers either
