Sorry, didn't have time to react / just noticed this. First of all: The PUG you were referring a month or so ago I was plain mad as I explained and I apologized for it... Second of all. Most of the people (at least half the team) didn't have a mic past PUG... Third: the person(s) taking command didn't say much... I asked about the plan multiple times and nobody reacted. It was more silence than there was a plan and if there was a plan it was abandoned after a few minutes ingame. When there was a plan I joined. And when nobody came up with a plan I suggested stuff... Fourth: Whenever I volunteer as a commander nobody does anything with it... If you could use your mic yourself more often (and also a lot of others) instead of complain about the fact that I complain / talk a lot it would improve things. It's easy to comment from the sideline that someone is taking initiative while most off the people aren't even communicating or taking initiative. In a lot of cases when i talked I asked what we should do over and over again.... After two rounds of lack of orders / direction I got more 'vocal' saying that we should either attack or surrender. Cause waiting in our base is just a slow surrender. In short: People complain about the people caring about the outcome of the game, but if you f*ck up the game over and over again by ignoring teamchat / not using TS / ignoring commander / doing solo stuff it's all good. BTW the only reason we killed the ref on Walls is cause we finally decided to attack (and yes, that was partly my plan). What else can you say about the Walls round? Wait... Wait... Wait more... And wait more...Oh it's over and we lost again... Next time just mute me if you don't like it, or talk more yourself...

When two users have partly the same name, but share the first part, you cannot send a PM to the person with the name which consists only off the first part. Game shows please be more specific Tried to PM @Henk (nickname Henk) but there was also a Henkdetank ingame. I cannot send Henk any messages cause his name is not specific, while I cannot make it more specific.

Lol. In the same phrase I corrected myself. In Dutch you say numbers exactly the opposite way and you start with the lastest part, before naming the first part. Glad you found it funny though...

Don't completely agree with it, why? - There used to be a specific sniper server in the past - There are special sniper maps just for these kind of servers - Snipers are completely different than every other weapon

That's more a game type than a server mode.

Depends on how this turns out. I hate it when the game is still going on there is fierce fighting and it suddenly ends. On the other hand: Played Under yesterday as GDI and joined after 25 min. 'We had' 15 players, Nod had 20 (and spawned vehicles using sandbox which we didn't know). At minute 50/60 a lot of Nod were heroic. Yet there was never a real attack with vehicles, even when the PP went down. Meanwhile the tunnels had all single shot units preventing us from getting out of the base. People just farmed more VP or kills or whatever and we were locked up for 60/70 minutes without a harvy dump or a serious attack on the base. In this case AOW would have been better. The game now took over 90 minutes with GDI waiting to be killed for 70.... Other example a week or so ago on Field. GDI lost WF and Nod didn't attack anymore after that. Instead 5~7 snipers (on 15 vs 15 or something) camped the ref / bar / WF exit and started r*ping us for 30 min without doing any attack. I left at that point as half the team allready did after we got locked up and slaughtered over and over. In this case AOW would also be better. We were just being used for target practice. Nod didn't play for serious anymore, GDI couldn't play at all.... I know it's not easy to find a middle of the road solution cause it will never satisfy everyone, but a combination of AOW and Marathon would be great. So a 'AOW mechanism' kicks in after x minutes if there are no real attacks. But how do you measure real attacks? That's the problem. I don't mind a marathon where multiple rushes on both sides fail over and over again cause I got the feeling I am in the middle of something. I mind a marathon where the enemy doesn't play to win, but just to raise K/D and you can't even leave a building without being killed...

While I appreciate the work Ukill does on the mutators I still want to open this topic. Last night I noticed a lot of votes on the CT server about 'x wants to enable sandbox mode' or 'x wants to enable future soldier.' I assumed, and with me a few people, that they were normal votes to joke and at that point didn't know the mutator was running. I checked with some people AFTER I found out and they also didn't. We spent a 90(!) minutes on Under being locked in to our base with a load of people camping our front in order to just sit there and not attack and farm VP or K/D ratio. With them also a few TS units which we were surprised about how they get them. But still nobody told us when asked. Now I know why some stuff was replaced so quick. We had a hard time if it would have been a normal game, but now we didn't stand a chance... Next game was Walls and suddenly the Nod (and later GDI) base had quite some turrets shooting everything.. I would suggest, since the playerbase is small and a lot of people allready ragequit daily cause the huge amount of snipers, to disable the mutator on normal servers. Now, if we are not getting snipped 10.000 times the game can get ruined by suddenly appearing weapons / turrets. The one thing this game doesn't need is the only normal servers with people to become abnormal. If people really persist on using the sandbox mutator it should: a) send out a message every x seconds that its running b) what it does / how it works (even with the commands I couldn't spawn a GDI turret) Please consider this server owners / developers.

That would be good. Or just move afk's to team 'neutral' if the server isn't full and stop there money income. Yesterday a person was 'PT staring' till he reached 1500, bought a mammy, lost it and went back to stare to a PT....

Forgot to post this a while ago. For some unknown reason I ended up inside the wall on Walls after exiting a vehicle. Guess it's nothing which is going to be fixed, cause I spent quite some time and I am still not able to replicate it. Posting this here anyways just in case other people encountered it. Small update on this: - The last few days I noticed up to 1/3rd of the people afk (in smaller games 6 afks is a lot). The normal 'afk kicker' doesn't seam to work since multiple players stay afk game after game after game, but they still join. Is the above still considered?
