  1. I have a lot of interest in sound. How it gets used in game and how it can be used to shape the battle experience. While i cannot create the sounds, I would very much like to participate in the shaping of the sound experience in the game. O! and ofc I would be Way! into voice acting.   3. Everyone starts each match equal. I hope it will stay that way.
  4. Forgive me because this happened pretty fast during the battle but.... I bought a light tank. I mistakenly bought a second tank. I got in the first, then left it sitting. My plan was to take second and leave first for someone to take. When i got in the second tank, I locked it. BUT! I had advertised the first tank as available. But when i locked my second tank. the first one also locked. Poop. The person who was going to get it moved on ... Ofc i unlocked it ... and it seemed to unlock first tank. Then our team crashed and it got destroyed... or i would have checked this out more. Did i see this right? Is this as intended? Hope not! lol p.s this was during a BH match.
  5. RE: Hud ~ place name of map on scoreboard. ( o00o Look at how much i am laughing right now! ) I do not oppose this idea, but it was a miracle that my request to put the name of the map ON THE MAP happened. Good luck and keep the faith! Look and Feel ~ As I often do repair work, I would oppose changing the vehicle Exit to the same side as facing. As it is now, when i am repairing a player's tank and things get dangerous - I can safely jump in a tank that I am helping, and then safely exit to the back and continue repairs. Well organized input. Nice work.
  6. dtdesign - you raise some good points. Especially this: That is an excellent point. It is very important for players to learn about teamwork. The kind of teamwork not often found in other games. I might counter that the same experience could be found in the path I suggest, But it is true... commanders do already fulfill this important need. Overall I still feel that enabled players make better decisions than a King on a Mountain. I mean Commander. .
  7. I am going to post again because: Today, when the game ended and we were given maps to select..... We had 5 choices. The player base was around 40, and the games had been kinda stomp oriented. We needed a map with defenses that works for smaller teams. But we got : 5 choices - 2 Nod vs Nod maps no one wanted to play ( based on voting) = 3 maps. And they all were BIG team maps. OW I really love that this community celebrates and supports variety. That is so beautiful. But................... I feel it is limiting our ability to choose CORE RenX. >standard disclaimer. Just another opinion in an Ocean of Player Fandom... >enjoys the recent waves of new players..... >plans to swim often.

  10. I agree that BH games should not be included. ( But i think it Awesome the community has developed this concept! 07 ) at least at this moment...... 1. same vs same is very lame. 2. I find these games do not highlight the essential awesomeness of Renegade X. To me it feels so much like all the other games out there.... same vs same. But one of the core strengths of Renegade is the two factions are very different, ~ but still game play is balanced. The current game owes SO very much to this legacy. 3. I just do not enjoy them, myself. Maybe if SBH were removed it would appeal to me more.. idk. Let it be a server choice but not the official. PS it is really obscure to look for that little symbol to see if the game is BH or not.. where do we explain that to new players or me?

  12. Thank you. well said. Give all command abilities to the players with appropriate balance mechanisms like Command Points. 1. Allow players to vote a harvester manager. 2. Allow players to purchase the ability to jointly create a buff effect, or at least the ability to solo buff yourself and hope others do the same at the right time. It would be AMAZING to see a map with symbols indicating players who have an offensive buff option. Imagine the natural fun of game play when players gather in a tunnel until critical mass and them BAM! No need to wait for a commander. Just players doing what they know will work. [ Isupreme dies, returns to Purchase panel. Checks Map. hmmm.... we hold the field, O! look... some offensive buff players are gathering in the tunnel we hold. !Sweet! Maybe i can buy same and join them in time for a BIG PUSH. ] Could veterancy enable the mechanic? 3 Allow a HEAVILY restricted ability to launch... The dreaded Invisible missile of death from the sky. This would allow players to learn about it and not just dread it. 4.etc etc.etc I believe almost every command ability could be given to the players and this game has always been about equality of players. Every map we start equal.

  14. Big teams: Islands, crash site, volcano, reservoir, outposts. Small teams: under, field, tomb, walls, snow
  15. I finally got a friend interested in the game and then struggled to find a kind way to tell him was messing up the proxies.
  16. When i look at the server list, and the maps that are being used, could i maybe see which ones are the Nod Vs Blackhand noted? i.e. today I joined a field match. Once in the game it was a Red vs Blue fight. Not what i wanted to play. So... if it is possible .. ( i suspect it is planned)... Please make the distinctions clear on the server list. Peace.
  17. From the Patch notes: Snipers have a more distinct near-miss sound effect (Notify player when they're getting sniped at) THANK YOU. It is hard to estimate the importance of subtle changes like this. I would rate this one VERY HIGH. Today i was repairing and supporting my team on the field of fight.... ... . HOLY SHIT Batman! When that sniper shot went whizzing past my head it was Awesome! Was it just sound effects? I swear i could almost see the bullet go past. Thanks for making the game intuitive. I KNEW I needed to take precautions........

With the influx of new player we NEED PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENTS MY top 5 PSA 1. you can repair in base by the defenses, but do not exit your vehicle on the field. 2.That video clip you saw was of an upcoming release... no you will not see that stuff here. 3. Three proxy mines per door is a strong defense. 4. The Harvester provides you with money. Defend it. 5. basic repair guns are nice but a Hotwire or Technician can heal faster.

  24. RE: Donate menu. 1. Any idea when the bug might be fixed that causes the menu to run on down past the box. ... ( clearly not a game changer.. just curious) 2. More Importantly. .. How is the donate menu arranged? What decides the order on the list? I think i have asked about this before but it remains unclear to me. 3. Could the Donate menu be arranged to bring the leading team players to the top? Either by score or any other metric. When i have time to donate before I leave, I like to look for players with very little money who are a very big part of the team effort.
