  1. How do you place snow on the rocks ? I used already made one only (copy and Paste) I used the one that already existed, and tweaked values on the big rock in the center, it already had the sand on top so making that into snow wasn't a lot of work. All of what you see is just replaced materials and different lighting colors btw.

  7. I don't know where the borderline is between a cocktail and just a mix of rum/whiskey/wodka and soda. So I don't know if Mojito is a coktail or a mix but I see that one a lot at festivals. My favorite mix is Bacardi Oakheart & Cola. You can also check out some websites with cocktail recipes, there's a lot of those websites with crazy cocktail ideas.
  8. maybe your graphics settings could be moved to low? maybe a new graphics card could be bought? questions over questions ^^ we will never know the truth You would have a point if he had bad framerates on other maps as well, but if the framerate is way lower on this map than on all the other maps then that needs to be improved imo.
  9. The lighting and coloring on this map looks way better than on Eyes. Hope we can play this soon.
  10. And may I suggest that the people who haven't been assigned have white names, and are all shown on the bottom of the scoreboard with 1 line extra spacing from the people who have been assigned.

  14. Is there a way to have different uv coordinates based on how vertical the terrain is? Or maybe a way to automatically get layer based on the verticality? If not you could of course give your cliff/steep layer high uv density (if that's what it's called).
  15. Keep in mind that the landscape texture will look stretched if the elevation is that steep. But you can make it look good by placing rocks and making it into rock cliffs.
  16. Tomb still has the sticky walls right? If so, that's top priority, it's not really a complex shape to model and unwrap, you could try to remodel it yourself. It might take some time to learn how to model, but it's a useful skill, even if you don't want to become a 3D artist.
  17. you should try it with something like 16 vs 16 I wish there was an option to toggle between sniping and deathmatch in the skirmish selection screen, because this map also works with death match, and it's just a small bit of kismet that makes it sniper mode.

Updated version: Fixed Minimap World brightness up, dominant light brightness down (The map was very dark on lower settings, fixed now) Now using only 1 material with instances for the guard towers. Tweaked landscape material, less expensive and looks a bit nicer. Added 3 spawn points Water is more opaque now Changed rock color & moss opacity Removed grass shadows & edited bush materials to be lighter Removed unecessary spot lights, added 1 spotlight behind the small house. Fixed z-fighting on 1 of the guard towers Fixed a spot where you could get stuck. Forced LOD 1 on the trees and rocks, so no more LOD popping on those, it's just a small map and it's not a lot of objects, so it's ok. I've been playing with my Cascaded Shadow Maps settings in Sniper Park a bit because I was unhappy with my shadows as well, I now have these settings: Whole Scene Dynamic Shadow Radius: 6000 Num Whole Scene Dynamic Shadow Cascades: 4 Cascade Distribtuion Exponent: 2 And my shadows look pretty neat now, And I don't see the shadows appear when I get closer to objects so that's good too. Didn't do a before and after test on my framerates but they're still pretty good on my laptop (it's mid-end I guess ).
  24. You need to keep performance in mind, you probably can't crank it up all the way to 100.000 or something like that.
  25. Nice. When I think about it the 0% doesn't really bother me much, just see it as 0.01% to 0.49%, but rounded to 0 decimal places.
