Don't get me started. Consoles have no reason to exist as they do and games have no value going there. Everything should be on PC, or on open platforms. Period. Anything working on closed controlled consoles is a waste of everybody's time and potential.

McFarland is kind of OP, but then when you play against Grenadier you realize they are not THAT strong. Grenadier are pretty much as ridiculous against infantry and yet those are free. Both of those (the Grenadier, and McFarland's 2nd fire) are ANTI-VEHICLES yet they destroy infantry. Grenadier needs as much as 75% splash damage reduction against infantry. It should be complete garbage against them. McFarland deserves the same nerf to his secondary fire. And by all the gods stop giving GDI all the new toys. Grenadier gets secondary fire, they get McFarland, they get the new Patch. Nod gets hit with a shit Laser Chaingun and they have NOTHING to talk about. They need some changes. Its pathetic, really.

Uh, yes it is a good idea. Instead of needing people to be very organized, someone can spot it for their entire team quickly. Its the same damn thing as actually telling everyone except you don't have to have everyone on teamspeak on a PUBLIC game to know about it.

See, this is the problem. People that think Airstrike are some kind of fix to anything. They aren't. Airstrike break more shit. The fact that Nod always loses on Field speaks of many other balance problems that actually need to be adressed. Not a retarded "blow it all" button.

I don't see why thats necessary. A single bomb can do 100 damage to an infantry and the airstrike throws quite a lot of bombs. That is huge, and I never stay around an airstrike as an engi/hot or I'm very likely to die. Damage against vehicles isn't insignificant either especially for all the range and area of effect it has. Both of those mean its totally unwise to stay around the airstrike. So using airstrikes to break siege works just fine. Thats all its supposed to do.

Faking player counts is disgusting and unacceptable. (if done on purpose) That said, I won't point any finger, its likely just a bug. I did notice once (that was in Beta 1) that a server was up with 36 players according to the browser, but you couldn't get in it (as if the server was actually not there anymore and I believe that was the case). So I would not be surprised if there's a few glitches when it comes to player counts.

It completely ruined the game pre-nerf They still need to not work over beacons. I'd still rather they not be in the game at all, but at the very least nope, don't buff them, by all the gods.

Thats a bit silly. Who's telling us they're even going to fix all the bad spots? Players or servers take matters on to their own hands. Now I'd rather that not be any permanent banning and just finding some mutator that prevents it (not unlike the old Renegade, I know Jelly had something that prevented beacons in unfair places). Servers sets rules when the game can't set them and thats perfectly, totally fine.

Some people miss the part that in pubs, when the ref is down and a building has any chance of being attacked, there can be 7 engineers sitting on it just to get... anything. I do the exact same thing until I get a thousand and cna buy something useful. Otherwise I simply will never reach any significant amount of money.

God, what is it with people that don'T fucking care about the spirit of such games in the first place. The Volt rifle is crippled because of its range in the first place. Why the hell do you see it being completely accurate so "broken"? If I'm actually skilled enough, people die so quick the accuracy doesn't have the time to change and vehicels, well, you don't need it. So exactly what difference would it make for BALANCE? The only difference it makes is that if you miss a bit too much, and hold it, it doesn't become luck based. There's no reason for the stupid ass spread over time in a game that understands the beauty of freedom of movement and the more arcade-like gameplay.

I have no idea why you think thats not fun as it is. People move fast. You have to hit them while they move fast. You can't even move as swiftly as you could in the original Renegade and as such people are easier to hit when they change direction than they were. And besides all that the movement speed is rather slow besides sprint in the first place. So what the hell. And don't add recoil. Recoil is terrible. There shouldn't even be recoil, its a big blow to automatic weapons. Leave it the hell alone. "Oh no an infantry can move unpredictably I hate it". What is this shit. -
They decided to introduce the "dumb" modern mechanics which is all an instant nerf in a game like this to all automatic weapons. No recoil, no spread. This game has enough overly strong non-automatic weapon which dominate already. This general nerf to automatic just gets on my nerves.

God, I wish there was only like... one server or something. People split themselves up and we just get small boring games. Woohoo... friday night, can't enjoy a 40 player Renegade X game, because there ain't any!

I always tend to forget about such simple things that modern games -never- try to go for. Totally a great idea. Global chats is always good.

Ah really... thats a thing now? What disappointing news... I remember playing Jelly and having to deal with an early Sakura... sure, its completely one sided but who cares, it leads to hilarious situations.

Apparently, Complex is in the work and is planned for the next update. (Thats no guarantee it'll be there.) I don't know much about Canyon, City, Volcano and Under, but I know they want them all in one day or another. I know I can't wait to have both Complex and Volcano in game, here's to hoping Volcano is the next. Then I'd say City, but they had mappers trouble there, if I recall correctly.

Except its terrible and kills all the intensity of a last second disarm. Instead it instantly devolves into a boring "oh well 10 sec left I guess we screwed".
