HI, back trying again and failing. It should stand as a testament to the game that i keep trying. Latest. I tried the new game download hoping it might go dif but it jammed up at 4.8 and did not complete. I had uninstalled so it was fresh go. RE previous suggestions. I appreciate them, but i dont know what MSI is, and i am not sure how to use torrent ( yes i know how lame i am). Would torrent make the game less to download? Where do i find this MSI. If i can find hope i will try again next month if my data allows.

Long time player. I had to refresh my computer. Attempting to reinstall So.... i only get 15361 mb per month of internet. I dont watch movies so it covers my gameplay. I would love to play Renegade again... BUT ! The download keeps quiting at around 4.79g thru. This has used 1/3 of my monthly allowance for two months of attempts and still i cannot play. ?any ideas what is going on? I swear i would pay for a cd in the mail.

Yes i tried the ultra low settings changes by doing the copy and paste routine in the file. It sure is funky looking. But i cannot say as it helped. Thanks for your attention to my plight.

i visit these forums once in a while hoping to find some news or fix that once again enable me to play this game. I have tried several tricks suggested. and of course turning all my settings down. No luck. I still hope.

I really wish i could play this game again. I really wish i could get some feedback on this situation. Am i just screwed? Will an update help? Is there any help planned? The game as it now exists is unplayable for me. The update has changed everything.

I have been laggy/unplayable since the new patch. It is very discouraging to me. Having gotten no response in the bug forum i am looking around for some ray of hope.

Im bummed. I played this game original. I played this game recently. But i can not play this game now since the latest update. Only every once in when i find a non EU game can i tolerate the lag. Mark me sad.

But i am having trouble enjoying games now because i seem to be too laggy. Same machine same connection. It is like this: alot of times my veh seems to stutter along. alot of times i get huge spike effects. Lots of the time i am getting killed and it is clear i just missed the action. To be fair, my machine is minimal and i live in Atlanta. I am having the most trouble with EU servers now. But i still have some trouble even when connected US to US. Makes me miss the days of simple graphics and game where the action flowed smoothly and i could get lost in my imagination. peace.

Perhaps a Publicity/Media team could be assembled to act at the right times to move things forward the right way. I am sure the developers are pretty busy. But if desired i bet they could enlist some help from the community.

Maybe the lounge mode could simply turn off the ability to destroy the base and allow for players to explore/test themselves against defenses and fight players without losing base. Might make some interesting situations.

An Excellent Initiative. This perspective is accurate and fruitful. I think the time is ripe to plan a lounge map or some sort of area for smaller populations to hang out. The need is real. The only question is how to answer it.

I would be very attracted to "testing times" when a specific gameplay issue is altered to experience the result.

I would like to create an Award for the Most Dynamic Battlefield and give it to RenegadeX. After thinking a fair bit about what makes RenX special and unique, I think this is the best element. Other games i play are fun and exciting, but the battlefield is static. Pick a fighter and help your team progress to a win. Usually only one way to win. Sometimes it is fight until you die then sit back and watch hoping the team carries through. RenX is completely different. Everyone starts on the same level so to speak, and then the battle grows and changes and evolves out of the actions taken. Time and time again during battle i find myself gauging the activity of the battle and choosing veh/char/weapons that will play well at that moment. A few moments later the battle has changed and i equip differently. The dynamic and fluid nature of the battle is awesome. Add to this the fact that there are multiple paths to winning and you have a Lot of Gameplay. Players have a lot of paths to pick. Win by points? Win by defending? Win by destroying every building with c4/becon/gunfire. Ignore winning and just enjoy wrecking havoc. Most Dynamic Battlefield Award goes to RenegadeX

I am always curious about the use of forums and how they function. I have noticed that in these forums we occasionally get posts which seem to have no connection to renegade. 1.Can anyone share with me the backstory of what is going on? i.e. a post by a first time poster about minecraft written poorly and seeming to have no connection to renegade. I assume this is a form of spam where the posting is benefiting/paying someone. Is that the case? 2. Why does the forum allow them to stand and not remove them? 3. anything else you care to discuss...

I wonder what your machine is.. ? Have you tried lowering the game settings to see if it makes a difference? I assume you have resource hogs turned off and so i wish you Good luck on your quest.

I think the ability to sell a vehicle is useful. So useful the debate may quickly turn to nerfing the prices. An immediate application may be possible? Long term i would like to see this in a Garage Structure where repairs and some vehicle locking could be achieved.

I am ALWAYS a big fan of weather/time of day changes. I bet they take a lot to create in virtual. Funny how little people notice/care about them in real. Ironic sorta. But i think in a game it is a very immersive quality.

It is a nice change to find that i can now easily exit RenegadeX after watching the concluding video of the bases and the scores. Previously i would get caught up in the game and have to wait until i was loaded into the next map and then exit. But now i find i can easily leave while the vote for next map is underway. I have to assume this was part of the Beta3 update. Nice.

I find it fun when there is a lot of soloing going on.... to back up a player and if they are sharp then sometimes it is enough to dominate the field. Even a small amount of teamwork can sometimes shift the battle. Having a heavy pistol has helped me do this because even a support hotwire has some firepower. Finding a player who knows how to use support can sometimes be a mini quest.

I wish folks would push more once they arrive at the front door in large enough numbers. It seems especially funny when you see 4 mammy and extra vehicles with support repair personnel - all camped at the front gate. I wonder sometimes if it is the effect of marathon games. It seems kind of contradictory, but maybe some folk are just not thinking about ending the game as much as they are thinking of the fight.

Thanks for the tips i will check those games out. I used to play and might play again: World of Tanks. It is a lot of slugfest type action, but sometimes even as an unpaying player i could score good and there is some teamwork at timess. The variety of tanks and other pieces play nicely to the differences inherent in the vehicles ie: heavy/light, armor/big gun etc. And this is not fps... but i like to play HSX.com which is a free game where you trade stock in movies. Fun way to see what is coming down the road. and then there is always Kdice ... ..
