  1. Hi Luhrian, you can run the UDK.exe file without the admin rights.
  2. Glad it works now You should really set up the server using a .bat file it makes it much easier to run the server. When I get a chance later, I will give you an example .bat file You dont need to alter the default player info so you can leave it as "Player", but your TeamMode is indeed the correct line to alter for default team. 4) Skirmish settings don't get saved by default so you will need to do them each time 5) You will need to go to each map's INI file to see the settings for Skirmish, I don't know if it works as well as expected though
  3. 1) Marathon mode is time limit=0 2) Are you loading the server via a .bat file, if so you can alter the command line to start at a different map. 3) Start team is determined by your settings in how to treat teams, I think it's UDKgame or UDKRenegadeX and there should be 3-5 different options 4) skirmish settings are determined by INI per map or the menu screen in skirmish. 5) Server starting credits is done in one of the INI files, mine limits and vehicle limits are locked to map. Although mutators can alter them.
  4. Ryz, Those aren't the only situations that cause the launcher to crash, as I have also had the launcher crash multiple times, even when not attempting to launch a server

  8. Once you are logged in as an Administrator on the server, you need to use the command: Adminrcon addbots 10 (Server version 5.16) Admin addbots 10 (Server Version 5.2+)

  10. You will likely need to forward the port on your router (default port is 7777)

I was still editing my post. Will make a screenshot when I run into it once. Plz note that (or maybe I renember wrong) that before the previous changes you could also sneak there without triggering the oby twice. Yeah. The obelisk was much worse at detecting people in the old beta.
  12. This sounds client side issue, although the OB does sound different, could be that you have the got the timing quite perfect?

Currently the PUG server is set up as 5.16, I can update the server as needed, but only if I find out within the next 5-6 hours max Also there would be no way to do so, you would need another installation to play, since so many files are changed in the 5.2 update, you would have a large amount of file mis-matches
  15. For land based movement: SETSPEED For Aerial Speed (for use of game speed as well) you can use SLOMO. Setspeed ends on certain actions, so you may need to use this multiple times. Slomo speeds up the game significantly.
  16. Well normally the comms centre is used for radar and aerial air strikes. Maybe lock out the air strike binoculars?
  17. The thing is "ChangeMap" is used in the situation you described, and surrender is a team only vote. If a team believes they truly stand no chance of winning then Surrender is required, having surrenders be voted on by the winning team would negate the point of surrender, and likely lead to many of the losing team to quit rather than play it out.

  19. I am fine with the teams choosing maps, but having teams pick faction as well is more awkward and could lead to more heavily biased games, even if the win/loss would probably be 50/50

  21. It's possible to do this on other maps as well, some maps do have a blocking volume above the bar (when ramps are not present)
  22. I can see there being a massive backlash against this. While the idea is sound, the fact is server owners are responsible for their own server. I know the developers have some visibility over all servers but they would rather leave it to the server owners to deal with.
