CNC-City Flying Release V1.1

Changelist

- Removed all BSP and replaced it with Static Mesh versions which caused not existing blocking volumes

- Removed the crappy Engery Shields and added Soft Boundary Volumes

- Filled up the background of the Nod Base

- The spots where some vehicles could go through on the Old Renegade is changed to infantry only so hotties/techs got a chance to sneak in HoN/WF

- Tunnel Entrances (Base Sides) covered with containers so AGT/Obby can't kill you

- Added Area Objective Nodes for AI

- Removed Rocks on Tiberium Fields

Well done Tommy! Just played the map and it feels really good.

I think there are some things you could improve. The middle feels a bit empty, maybe you can add some more cover and some more details on the path like trails or anything like that. Also the overpass would look very cool with some street like material (but already great work!). And last I would raise the time to return to battlefield ... 3 seconds are a bit short.

While playing with Try-Out we discoverd some issues.

1) You can get to OBI with Patch and to AGT with SBH ... don't know if it is a feature or a bug. It seem like both defences can't see you until you are very close but you don't even lose power at AGT.

2) I was playing NOD and bought an apache and chinook and both have problems with landing on a lot of ground material on the map. When you try to land (pressing C) or jump out and they sink down, they can't land just jump around like they are having a collision. Happens in complete NOD base except of the area around pp and behind ref and thats almost the same in GDI base. The overpass just has the problem at the area where you are going into base. On the path which goes from on to the other side this problem just occurs beneath the overpass but also on the grass next to it.

3) NOD harv gets stuck when trying to drive out of ref bay

1) meant to be so infantry got more chance to sneak

2) Hmmm didn't knew that (PM me a screen of this)

3) Son of a bitch Nod Harverster!!......Blame the harvy

4) Not sure yet to increase it to 5 seconds because the background is very close to the main part of the map

- Fixed the bouncing aircrafts (2 Vehicle Blocking volumes re-done because that was the problem)

- Added Road Decals

- Added some more lighting under the overpass

- Added more containers at back HoN entrance cause turret could shoot you at the door

- Fixed the broken Nod Harverster

Woow fast fixed! Forgot to mention that I tried to make screenshots of the bouncing vecs but everytime I try to make a screenshot, just the window behind the game is taken. Is there an ingame command/key to take screenshots?

Yes there is,

ToggleScreenShotMode

But this won't work I believe. To make screens, press F11 to go to windowed mode and then you can make a screen

CNC-City Flying Release V1.3

Changelist

- Fixed Texture Flickering at the Nod Base

- Lowered the very very high and crappy wall and added some more containers in the background with Soft Boundary Volumes

- Fixed Both Harverster Paths

- Added Damage to the overpass

- Nod won't be so dark anymore

- Removed 2 Containers near the HoN cause you could jump on them and then you could enter the HoN without problems

- Added 2 Containers to the Right side of the Turret at the end of the Airstrip so Hotties can still sneak into the HoN

- Moved the AGT more to the Tunnels and added more cover so Techs can sneak to AGT like Hotties can do to the Obby (NOTE: AGT has more weapons than Obby and those AGT turrets can kill you easier. I can't fix that or game files will be messed up)

- Fixed the WF "Suicide Spot"

- Added Vehicle Blocking Volumes to the ramps

- Fixed WF rollout nodes

- Added some more detail to the map

- Changed Lights under the overpass to Blue (Why? Because it's possible)

- Fixed Sounds

- Endgame Camera was still broken. It's really fixed now

- Updated Preview Image

just upload it already…surely it’ll be better than half the current maps…

Nah.... take your time.   You cant fake enthusiasm for a project.   It happens as it happens.

If you release it too soon the fan base for it may get screwed....
