  2. Snipers are always gonna be hated in every game..... But it's not that game breaking, I mean I can deal sufficent damage with few anti infantry classes to get them run crying back to base for healing If you can't deal with snipers, just go get tanks and move out. This game is not deathmatch where you really need to kill people
  3. I'd say you edit it so it doesn't look too.... linear. Deathmatch maps are good when they're branching and seamless where you can go anywhere and never meet a dead end or a straight long path where you cannot escape conflicts
  4. I believe this is the bones problem, Wolf. You'll need to script things out from scratch. I'd recommend you copypasting from the turret, but look on the bones names and match them up
  5. I was kinda surprised you fell for our Orca target distraction twice.... Bananas was like "Ok, we go hit the HoN, but then we take down ref" boom ref go down. Then "Same thing, we hit the HoN, take down the PP, then go strip" boom pp down. Though that APC rush vs Buggy traffic blockade was an interesting event.

  7. er Ryz, I mean before it started. It did get a DDoS Yes, unfortunately for B0NG's team today's PUG is totally in Bananas' favor, literally. Goldrush was won by Bananas' Nod team by close score difference between loss of Strip and loss of Barracks

  11. I know, but I thought you used a mesh and rotate it 180 degrees, my bad....... AnimationSet and AnimationTree are different things. Check the sockets name on the mesh and see if it matches with the original mesh. If it doesn't, it's also gonna pose problems due to some effects and positions unavailable

  13. oh.... right. You used another mesh, right? You'll also need to setup the AnimTree as well, so that the script will acknowledge the turret bone that will rotate the gun around....

  20. Do you realize that clickiing the mouse triggers startfire while releasing it triggers stopfire? If you remove it, you will not be able to fire at all Also, setbind is a hardcoded engine command. I can also hack through UDKInput and get J as an alternative startfire command

  23. Is the "RenXPath" variable in "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Totem Arts\" not a thing anymore? It's in my registry, but it could be from an old install ("InstalledVersion" in my registry still says "Open Beta 4", after all), so can someone please confirm/deny this? Curiously "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Totem Arts\" directory is not even in the registry. I searched on the Local Machine section as well and found no Totem Arts directory. Do note that I upgraded from Beta 4 as well
  24. Wasn't I the one starting it out I just bind the autofire by "Setbind j Startfire" Now I just need to press J to autofire. Useful if you just wanna camp on..... say whiteout, and whore out the buildings with MRLS
  25. The closest comparison to med is light tank. Light tank is Nod's main battle tank, weaker but more agile and harder to hit (if you play your environment right). Flame tank is a close combat vehicle that needs to catch the tank closely and in surprise. Also note that GDI and Nod have different playstyle and different specialty. GDI is a more simplified brute force while Nod requires tactical care with its' unique units having far different roles than others. So no wonder if Med tank is as 'Universal' as it can be. It's a GDI tank
