    Once this is installed, go to the Renegade X tab and select your current install. Then verify again.

    Renegade X is/was a massive achievement, especially since it’s free and without advertisements…I honestly don’t know why you all tried to move on to the next great thing like it’d work out great.  Last time I played there actually were major problems with ren-x…hope you devs have spent time fixing things instead of all moving on to the next great thing…

    though again I’m really not paying attention…haven’t played your game in about a year…all I really know is that roweboat is a fatty.

    also…is shpetim actually going by rustyshackleford in game now?  So weird….ashes to ashes…

    Not sure why you talking to Suspiria like he is a dev 🤣

    Not sure exactly how the Steam detection works on a platform like that, but it just puts the number for how many users have connected, starting at 256.

    All the tweaks seem to be only necessary for the launcher and this is not mentioned. The game itself seems to work out of the box without wine tweaking. I cannot find recent reports that this launcher works with wine. If one would know that these tweaks are only required for the launcher, one might want to work around the launcher on linux.

    Even more when one knows, that an alternative (well a second alternative) launcher is on it's way.

    Btw when do you think the electron launcher is ready?

    I do agree that documentation is outdated. The Electron launcher is in a working state, we use it for the Firestorm alpha internally at the moment. Once we get some finishing touches sorted like auto updating, we will be releasing it. It is a high priority for us.

    Unfortunately the Rust launcher, isn't really being updated anymore, however it is still semi-usable but does have some issues as you said. We are working on another launcher that is built on Electron. Thanks very much for updating WineHQ!

    We are developing some new scripts for firewall management, I apologize for any interruptions. It's easier to get attention by Discord, but I'll check here more often. Please make new thread if needed.

    I Thought one has to browse the game servers in the launcher and then select the server and launch the game. Can I also list and join servers when in game?

    There is a multiplayer menu on the main menu that has a server list.

    I'm having the exact same issue as well, it only affects the official TotemArtMarathon - eu server though, everything else works just fine and it all started after I got a server is at capacity message while i was trying to join, after then nothing happens no matter how much i try to join.

    Not a problem on launcher side, but issue should be resolved now. If you still can't join, let me know.

    We understand the frustration of having to wait so long, but we are not going to release a game that we are not happy with, simple as that. The game has evolved and changed a lot from the Fall 2020 release date. Our current deadline is to release the UDK beta before end of this year.

    Not only have there been changes with the game itself, but if you have been around the community you will have known that there have been many issues within the team (DMCA issues, former team members problems), which have stopped development for months at a time on their own.

    We are human and this is a hobby. Burn out exists and life happens.
