won a game of islands today because gdi had 2 mrls, 1 med and 1 mammy in their base ... they felt really save, because they owned the tunnels and the field for serval minutes ... took us 2 sbh to reach their base, plant our nukes, jump in the vehicles and cover them once the vehicle was down, just pic an other one

yes possibe! It was on field, late game, tons of credits. I was SBH with a nuke hoping for a spy crate (last chance) ... A wonder happened and I got a spycrate, at the GDI bunker. I went straight up to the GDI base .. AGT shot me on sight.

you can burn all steam games on a disk ... so you never have to download them again ... the only thing is that you have to verify the files online once you copied them to your steam folder ... DRM ... okay ... everyone has to decide alone if it is a thing someone can live with or not ... (My) PROs: you can have the games cheaper (up to 90% discount, even on AAA games) you can easy quick join a friend IM, working within the games you can share videos and screenshots very easy (with friends and community) workshop for a lot free comunity contend (not for all games) boards and comunity sites to all games available (for user and dev support / game help) large memberbase (unlikely to close any time soon, even older games still got living communities) (My)CONs: DRM, not all games work oflline steam can close your account without the need to justify ... w/o any chance for getting it back or any compensation (even if i never heared of anyone with a problem) they sell crappy stuff like WarZ (but you can buy crap in any store) for me the PRO side does outweight the cons ... but again, up fore everyone to decide

that token idea is great! but as long as you can not do that .... you can help your team with extra money if: Ask if someone wants a vehicle Ask if someone needs some credits Donate to a fresh joined player Donate to someone who needs it (Press "V") Place airstrikes on the field Place airstrike on beacons (offense AND defense) Place random airstrikes on your base (specialy as gdi) Give a damn about K/D ratio, try something that is risky (for YOU) and unusual

What do you think about that? I just had a "conversation" about this while playing Lakeside ... Someone bought vehicles and let them stand at the airfield ... I was defending, and there were constantly GDI infantery roaming behind the Airstrip ... I did enter them and planted timed c4 on them, so they will blow after 30 seconds if an enemy took them or they were empty ... People had enough time to take one of the tanks, they did stand around quiet a while ... I have seen more than one building/game that has been lost because someone left a vehicle in mid base. Nevertheless, I think it is okay as long as there is an Obelisk or an AGT. If there is no Obelisk or AGT, think about donating money to those who just joined or ask if someone needs some cash ...

i was sbh but went for a gdi spy ... first i got in with an engi spy ... later, when i got shot, i had a rocketlauncher or something like that (spy ofcourse)

If they would ask for money, what they don't/can't, I would pay up to 15€ in current state (like an early acces) ... if it would be Gold I would pay up to 30€ ...

I doubt that any Sniper could do that alone ... even a veteran with high accuracy can not monitor all alone ... specialy with the long reload time after 4 shots and a couple of enemy units leaving random tunnel exits ... a team of snipers could do, thats true ... but then you have other ways ... and even the 2 exits down by the river are so close ... if you mange to gather a group to sprint from one exit to the other you have a chance to even kill the snipers in tunnels (depending on how straight or winding/twisting those tunnels are made) field is not, and never was, a great map ... but for the vintage feeling i would keep it in .. as it is ... with minor tweaks like the tunnels i suggested or the techbuilding

It is a problem if people scare to die ... sometimes people need to die or run a high risk ...

i kinda liked the recommendation from the dragonade servers ... having some badges on your character or maybe show them only on the TAB screen (team only) ... for different things ... good sniper, good tanksupport, good basedefense, good tank ... no other perks

should be enought to just run renegadex with steam in the background ... i linked renegadex in my library ... so i can use the overlay, share screenshots and my friends see i play renegadex

Well with my idea snipers would have to monitor 5 potential areas from where infantery attacks ... 2 new tunnel exits 1 balcony 1 old tunnel exit big base exit and the lower field exits are very close, so if you miss a shot or more than 2 people rush from one exit to the other the snipers will have problems ... and if there a lot snipers out there, protecting the sige ... then the old tunnels might be the gap in the defense
