Just look in the SDK in a collision mode. The easiest way is "stuck" a buggy on this collision an use this buggy as a stair. Then you have to the left side of the Refinery and you can go up very easy. And now you are on the Refinery. I mean in a game it isn't a very big problem, because you can't really place beacon on top of a Refinery, without the enemy team is noticing this, because a weird buggy in the base and a enemy player trying to get on top of Refinery is a bit conspicuous. It depends on the map, but maybe 1 team could use that as a sniper spot, so it is always good to block this. (Look at some bug report screens on Training Yard and Uphill, you will always see, that there is a buggy, which was used to get on the Refinery)

Na, I don't think this is a good idea. Let me explain it: A Tech building is a point, in the middle of the map, so both teams need the same time to reach it. 1 team captured the middle of the map and owns this tech building. The effect will be, that the team, which captured the tech building, is getting more stronger, but they were already strong enough to capture this tech building. The other team loose some possibilities to make a turn and it is getting even more difficult to defend the base, because you have to defend the sea side, too. I have now 3 suggestions for you: place the tech building in both bases make a Factory for these Hovercrafts make both The A-10 tech building is the same thing like the hovercrafts. Just take the text about the Hovercraft tech building and replace the Hovercraft with A-10. But I like that A10 idea, even if they let me raging every time I fly them. @TheDeadlyWolf know why . You should write the background stories for my maps, I have always no idea what I should write there . But I have a good felling about this map, keep it up Luhrian

Hm, if the Pug today is with 5.29, then they should release it quick, that the most people have this version when the PUG is starting.

Oh, great to see this topic. It is very interessting to see other mappers how they are working. But you said you want to have some suggestions for your map. Ok here we go You have a sea in your map, so why not adding a hovecraft? I planned it to do that on my own map, but why not doing it on yours I will explain, what I mean on some screens from my new map. (don't expect too much, it is pretty much WIP) An Hovecraft is a transporter, so you should make sure, that there is a point where you can drop some tanks to get behind the enemy for example. It would be nice, too, if there are some points where you can attack the enemy with your hovercraft. Inside the cave Outside the cave Map Overview It will be an much more interessting gameplay, if you can come from behind with some flamers and burn the asses from GDI Mammoth Tanks and make it easier to break a base lock. And Hovercraft battels could be interessting, too. Tech Buildings, that you only can reach with Hovercrafts make this lake more important for the gameplay. But now, I want to hear your opinion @TK0104 and if you want to add it. And remember "I don't want to steal the ideas from other people" is no reason for not doing it. I hope you like this idea. That charge up isn't a bad idea, but if the time reset with every time you die, it will end, that the people buy the item and camp inside a building instead of helping their team. I think it is better, that you buy the item, then a cooldown is starting and you can get this item when the cooldown stops in the purchase terminal. But the mappers can decide anyway how long is that cooldown. And that is good, because airstrikes are on every map differently effective.

I suggest you, if there are problems with the launcher patch update, to downlaod the full build and you are able to start.

Hey guys, You maybe know, that I am working on CNC-Forest and I want to add 2 mutators from CNC-Fort from @nBab there. The first mutator is, that the plane drops the tanks a bit higher then normal. I need that mutator, otherwise the plan would fly through like 40 trees. The second mutator is changing the vehicle camo to that on Fort. I think these materials are just perfect for my map. But the problem is, that @nBab wasn't online since 4 months and on steam since 135 days. I already asked a developer and he said, it is okay, if I give him credits. But, I need to know how I can use this mutators, it would be nice if someone can help me with that. Thanks in advance

I tried it a few times, it isn't working. I can still shoot through my blocking volume.

Hey guys, I have found a real weird blocking volume bug. I wanted to block my Buggy on my map and set the Collision Type to BlockAll. But that isn't blocking all. Then I set the Collision Type to BlockWeapons, but when I was shooting it, I was able to shoot through it. Any Idea how can I fix this?

I don't even know it anymore, but that doesn't matter. We have a really annyoing and unfair glitch, that we have t fix. -

Nod had the Field and was destroying every GDI Harvester. -

Oh, and please fix that Harvester stuck spot, the Harvester was stucked like 6 times in 30 Minutes. Nod lost a huge amount of credits through that. -

Why not just replace these soft borders with a Blocking Volume? Maybe that sucks, because there is just an unvisible thing blocking you, but that is much better then every time that Return to Battlefield glitch. -
Oh god dam, I added the sky material to my package, but why it doesn't worked? I'll try to find a solution and will fix it asap. Expect 1.1.1 today.
