  3. I think this would only lead to a lot of dumb suicidal attacks when a players life isn't as valuable. I'd actually want to se even more stats than kills. Destroyed vehicles, destroyed buildings, captured buildings, time inside vehicles etc etc
  4. As nod rarely can hold the field and hill against orcas and groups of gdi tanks I think that the arty spot is fair.
  5. I don't know if I want to listen to a bunch of voices talking and screaming in my ears while playing and I'm certainly not going to sit and talk to the computer while my girlfriend or someone else is in my home.
  6. At some point light tanks were able to attack mammoths by driving really close to them and the mammoth was unable to shoot at such a close range. That was nice. I don't think the mammoth needs to be nerfed but the nod vehicles should be a bit stronger or maybe faster. I don't know if the game engine allows it but it would be great if the mammoth would have weaker armour on the rear side, making flanking and ambushes more relevant.
  7. I have not played Renegade X much lately and I have noticed a decrease in players, personally because I think something is lacking from the game right now but I'm not sure what. It could be the 60 player limit, the constant complaining in the chat or maybe the teamplay isn't as good as it used to be. What happened to the commander option? I really don't get the hate on the good players like poi, you just have to keep moving all the time so you don't get killed. Just like it has been since original renegade. But I do agree that something have to be done with the team swapping, why is it allowed at all?

  9. The wiki is not the same as information in game, most players (I think) rarely visit the websites of the games they play. It would be nice if players could access game information from the game menu with stuff about all buildings, units, tanks, stealth, mining, tactics etc. That way the new players could look up everything while they play and we would avoid experienced players getting angry at them making the game a bad experience.
  10. I guess most newer players don't know how the stealth systems work, why would they? The info is not written anywhere in the game.

  12. engineers and techs need to repair in cover behind the tanks or move around alot while it's mostly the tankers task to keep them safe. Imo it is not that often you get killed by snipers while repairing on the field. A repair vehicle would be really weird

  15. This is not really about the mammoths splash radius but I find the mammoth very frustrating to use. The cannons keep firing if you hold down the left mouse button but then you need to click the right button every time you want to fire the missiles. meanwhile there is a quite long pause (almost a second?) between the shots of the two turrets. Is it possible to make the mammoth fire the two turrets at almost the same time instead of having the pause between? There is so much clicking on the mouse to have the mammoth keep firing right now. I'm not sure if I made my point clear..
  16. The mammoth is in my opinion the most useless tank in the game, it's slow, it's clumsy, it shoots slowly and it almost always becomes the priority target by enemy tanks. But I disagree on making it more powerful, nod tanks are too hard to keep alive as it is now I think.
  17. I still think that your team members never should be able to harm you. Besides, 15 seconds would probably be enough to push a hottie to the enemy base in most maps anyways so the time would have to be decreased even more. The shorter the time to higher the possibility that someone get killed by accident or by purpose.
  18. Is there really a need for a solution? It's not really that common and even if it happens it's not really that much of a problem. Vehicles shouid never be able to harm friendly players. Imagine if you have an expensive character and go afk for 20 seconds for a cup of coffee and you come back only to find out someone has pushed you to death. If we are making vehicles do damage while pushing stuff I'm all for doing ramming damage to enemy vehicles (your own vehicle would take the same amount of damage). I have always wanted to crush a buggy with a mammoth.
  19. I like the idea of more infantry-only maps, games where both teams have destroyed WF and strip are sometimes really fun. But I think it would be enough to work on better infantry maps. Right now Valley is a bit boring because it's so small and with so few objectives other than destroying PP and bar/Hon and capture the silos. I think maps with several different capturable buildings, bunkers and tunnels would make infantry maps more interesting.
  20. I think the nukes/ions are too important to be removed in games where one team or both teams only have ref or HON/bar left. A well protected nuke/ion is sometimes the only way to end a stalemate.
  21. The current airstrike already fires two different kinds of shots, some sort of bombs and canons. I'm thinking that a cheaper airstrike would fire only canons that damage mostly infantry and then a more expensive airsrike that fires bombs that does a lot of damage to vehicles and also infantry I guess.
  22. Instead of making the airstrike stronger or weaker it would be really cool with different kinds of airstrikes.. Like anti tank and anti infantry, smoke, friendly airdrops like healing supplies etc.
