  1. There has been a discussion on AOW servers having an faster gain for Veterancy due to the 45min/60min time limit but nothing was really done about it.
  2. Misspelling aside, wouldn't name have to be changed from 'Coastal*' to something else? (A CNC-Coastal already exists, although it seems like a dead project)
  3. Maybe servers should lock once a session is in progress >if there are more than 32 players in a game?
  4. If players have to choose between a timed c4 or a rep tool on load-out then this is probably a good idea, maybe the rep tool should be re-implemented in a patch to work like this instead?

This just isn't true, we have enough for two servers if only players joined and filled a 2nd server then we'd be fine If servers could lock themselves after a certain amount of time forcing players to fill up a 2nd server rather than players waiting for someone to drop out of a full server then that'd be interesting But I doubt this is even possible without modifying the game code... Perhaps a Marathon server should have a 3 hour time limit instead of no time limit? 3 hours is still kind of a marathon

  7. So I'm going to jump into this game and play about and then hopefully do some fun kooky stuff. Who wants to be an actor/director? No real names needed I will just use your forum names and keep you updated in here . . . I need a Studio name and an company owner name, any suggestions? (I was thinkin' Totem Farts Productions' )

It is a nifty little third-party launcher for RenegadeX, if it possible for a login via this launcher to create an specific ID - Which can go into the server-side settings for a RenX server then it might be possible for this launcher to be a lovely little SecureBAN for the game. (Ideally working around the game itself by way of masterserver for this launcher and the game-server talking to one another, rather than having to modify the game itself, perhaps a magical mutator can work the login IDs) Additionally, this launcher has a 'Guest' feature.

  13. Not necessarily, its more often players not willing to fill up a second server. Considering 32 was the previous max and a second server rarely filled up yet raising the player count to 64 and a server still manages to become full. A machinema project might be good for advertising, which I'm slowly developing a storyboard for but to produce such content is going to take time A lack of map variety also doesn't help. (Think I'll finish polishing off Toxicity tonight)

  15. So this would be based on their lifetime stats and not the current games' progression?
  16. If Player A and C are friends and want to be on the same team, chances are they would have swapped within the first 5 minutes of the game so this formula wouldn't work particularly well.

Commander mode needs 2 sub-commanders (Lt.'s) added, which can be elected by the commander so there can be more organization throughout the entire team e.g. one leads defence the other leads assault/infiltration depending on what the commander prefers. Only the commander can use powers however the commander can apply a buff to either Lt if the commander is not nearby, if possible an Lt can drop a marker (maximum of 1) for a missile, spy-plane, emp bomb etc. Only the commander and subs can see the markers the Sub's plant. Purple and Orange for Subs' markers/Q-spots Would be lovely

  20. Toxicity has an infantry/vehicle combination which isn't just infantry without protection I may need to load a mutator into the map which increases the speed of the APCs (because they're so frikken slow)
  21. ...the lights are just square. It'll be to do with the post-processing effects in the map no doubt If @limsup could please check for the texture issue that'd be dandy
  22. They piss n moan a lot if they can't get from base to base in less than 3 minutes on foot
