  2. I just wonder how people just walks past as if there's no sound. Its almost as if people think that the harder it is to hear the closer you are. Watching the second ion was harder, since technicians would walk right past it. Although I could see why it was hard because the blue light blended in with the bush

  4. Its true that the loading screen doesn't provide useful information, but too detailed loading screens (beta 4) aren't helpful either. Loading screens usually last a couple of seconds and should only contain that much information. I guess a useful place to put tips and advice would be whenever you die. As the game progresses with longer spawn times, more helpful tips can be displayed.
  5. Nostalgia definitely is the biggest reason why people play this game. Another thing is that new players find it difficult to learn this game, quickly at least.   7. 1. RypelCam. In console: Demoplay [demoname] - Plays back a demo with the name specified. .Demo files go to the demo folder in ../UDKGAME/Demos Cam install the easy way: To install, in UDKGame.ini (Found in: UDKGame/Config) set DecalManagerClassPath to RenX_RCam_StandAlone.RCamDecalmanager 2. Yes. You must record a demo yourself in online skirmish. To do so press F5, then type recorddemo. A demo will be recorded for your skirmish game until you leave. The demo file should be saved in your demo folder. To change speeds, there are instructions in RypelCam. 3. RypelCam will do it for you. There is also a way ingame by typing into the console: togglescreenshotmode. This will remove the HUD online or skirmish. 4. No idea. I do it and know one has said anything about it. 5. I can't answer that. Note: If you want demos from the servers you have to have permission from the server owners. Also servers have mutators that you need to download in order to view the demos.   9. Only for the Whiteout map I can say for certain that the obstacles are blocking your shots. I don't know about Lakeside as I would need an image or video of that.
  10. Using these images I was able to replicate not damaging the GT, but that's because the ground was in the way. Even from the images alone it loos like your shooting the ground because of the snow blocking the view.
  11. If you were to do the voice-over having EVA instructing you would be more appropriate.
  12. Great idea! We should all spend money on that game to show our support for the CnC franchise in hopes that EA will make another CnC game then.
  13. If you watch the videos you can clearly see a difference in tone between both sides. Jeff's is a more professional and serious tone focused on winning the game, while on Gliven's side you hear NOM NOM NOM. I understand the whole having fun instead of taking it seriously but why are we playing these private matches then? Wasn't the whole purpose of the Pick Up Game to have competitive gameplay to avoid the silliness in the public servers? We want to have fun but we should put it behind winning unless we're no different than joining the public servers.

  16. A video that takes a look at the cancelled RTS/FPS: Tiberium. The video uses gameplay footage I haven't seen before so it provide a more in-depth look at the game.
  17. We all know Yosh is always the commander. He says he isn't so he wont take the blame for his drunk ideas if they fail.
  18. Guess I'll do the review. Thommy vs Yosh Field: Nod builds arties and techs and breaks the armor on all of GDI's buildings. The veterancy advantage allowed NOD to obliterate the entire GDI base. Nod victory. Goldrush: A long game with failed rushes and some success. GDI fails an apc rush, Nod succeeds with a stank rush that destroys agt and ref. GDI takes out the HoN at the same time. Nod fails to have any successful rush against a wall of defenders causing GDI to build up their veterancy. Nod PP goes down then ob then everything else. GDI win. Yosh wins 2-0.

  20. More like: GDI and NOD forces meet up at the damn dam. GDI was lead by Commander KrypTheBear and Nod is lead by jeff. 0:00 - 7:00. GDI and NOD forces begin the battle with recon forces going out over the field and exploring the dam since it is the first time for some soldiers. Skirmishes ensue over the field and the interior of the dam to capture the tech buildings. 7:00 - 10:00. GDI and NOD tank battalion go to the field with many repairs. The dam is fought over with infantry as snipers are able to support their respective tanks. 10:00 - 11:00. An GDI infiltrator fails to destroy the Hand of Nod with 0% health. 11:00 - 50:00. GDI and NOD divisions attack the field and dam at full force. No ground is gain on either side. Soldiers from both sides are starting to sow signs of battle fatigue and some desertion. 50:00 - 70:00. Rush after rush fails as many lives are lost and the soldiers moral has diminished. Not even Oprah handing out promotions could bring back the tired souls back in fighting spirit. Finally the NOD refinery falls to infiltration then later GDI loses their barracks to a Nod tank battalion. 70:00 - 90:00?. The entire Nod force are heroic and comes in as saviors to relieve GDI's suffering. GDI surrenders before the War Factory falls.
