  1. All the above, and personally I'm looking for spaces that can be cut down without hampering the map balance. Actually B0ng, you don't need to mirror that one yet. I just cut down the map size again, accordingly as MrSunshine suggests (see TmX forum topic) Updated it anyways Let me know when you have your new, optimized version and we'll get that on there quickly.

  3. Thanks to everyone that showed up to the first pickup game. We had 20 players show up and we had some fantastic games.
  4. Right now I'm hosting the .zip file that you had linked me. It's ~45 MB. I can rar it again I suppose. Your map was added to the official mirror and is now running on the testing server without issues. Thanks for your hard work.

  6. Agent's awesome IRC bot is now running on the testing server. If you're a mapper, please PM for credentials to connect to the admin channel for the testing server so you can force map changes and other important things.
  7. The map has to compile shaders when it is run as the mapper didn't seem to precompile them. Let it sit for a little bit and see if it loads.

  13. I really like the idea of having the time increase between vehicle purchases. If only the cost increases, the team could potentially pool up to buy a tank Rush which I feel should be harder as you need to be punished for losing your wep /strip

  18. Hey all, For the last week or so TmX has been testing seamless server switching. After a certain time of the day, we've been switching everyone over to a North American server from the European server in order to accommodate North American players when most Europeans are asleep. What are your thoughts on this? Has anyone been on during the switch and liked it or disliked it?
  19. It's not that I'm worried about infiltration units. We're plenty capable of countering them. It's just that when hotties/techs can get these powerful weapons, what's your incentive to buy any other character? Hotties/techs become the jack of all trades.
  20. Agreed. One of the main things I love about Ren is it really rewards accurate aiming which ATM the shotty seems too random to reward that.

  22. Agreed. I think their range needs to be reduced and their spread also needs to be reduced to compensate for the reduced damage.
  23. Hey all, Communities are a HUGE part of Ren X as they were in Renegade. While there is a communities forum, I feel there should be a tab on the frontpage that goes to a page with link to each community as well as a short description of the community and key admins in the community. If this isn't feasible, at the very least add a subsection for community intros where communities can advertise. Ex: The Matrix Renegade (TmX) The Matrix Renegade is a community that has been around since original Renegade. TmX specializes in AOW and hosts one of the major Ren X servers.   24. Personally I feel that the 1 credit per tick after the ref is destroyed gives everyone too many credits. With that being said, if people aren't getting credits from a ref, there needs to be a more lucrative way to get credits. As it stands repairing buildings gives a TON of credits and repairing vehicles, infantry and killing vehicles, infantry doesn't really give many credits. My suggestion: remove the 1 cred/tick and decrease building repair points while increasing vehicle/infantry kill/repair points.
