  3. A super weapon is a blast in a radius, which means it will get everything in an area, so if that rock is in that radius it will damage anything in front or behind it. Wall jumping certain areas isn't all that bad, but to get onto the roof of buildings, where they clearly didnt want you, is a exploit... we most likely will block areas we dont want people to go well enough so you can't wall jump.
  4. Do you plan on accurately measure all weapon damage to maintain game balance? Yes, I intend on doing most if not all conversion from LE presets to Ued setup of our weapons...these will match the exact damage, ROF, and velocity of the renegade stats. Do you plan on sizing the walls and barriers to allow and disallow jumping appropriately? Walls will remain their same height, but exploiting will not be allowed. Will you have a gamemode to allow for tunnel nukes? Some found this a valid tactic. Same as renegade, it's up to the server owners. Ex. Our field map will be the same exact layout, and the nuke will have the same radius of blast. Gamemode for base-to-base MRLS (GDI artillery)? Gamemodes will be far better then just a simple base to base. As of now, there is nothing planned for such a simple gamemode. Will stealth soldiers and stanks periodically shimmer so they can be detected as in the old game? Only when shot Will MRLS missles seek the same way? I suspect that might be difficult to script unless you can copy the old logic Exactly the same. Some sort of expanded communications would be nice. While full voice is available commonly now, listening to children is often not a good time. It would be nice to have the full commands from the old game supported like "defend the power plant". Add "I've mined the power plant" etc. While the old commands are in, a few may be changed, but the voice option will be used for things like "I mined the power plant". This may be a good time to reveal something I have in the works if you dont want to listen to "kids" the whole game, to give you a hint "squads", more on this later(in it's own topic) A visible mine count would be good.   7. post still goes thru, as you said, but something is screwed up, We will work on a fix. Ive googled that problem and found a soloution before, but it has come back...something to do with the mail out settings of the forum, why its mailing when u post, I have no idea
  8. PC parts are NOT part of donation money... Donation goes to programs(applications needed to create the mod) and hosting(website, forums, FTP, servers)...thats it! everyone could use a new part or two...so, don't start this "my machine is worse then yours".

  18. Testing out a new forum template Also, if you have any errors when you try to post...please let me know! I had to remove some error code that was being displayed when new members tried to sign up aswell as some posting errors. Should be fixed. The forums will be updated with a few new tidbits, but for the most part I'm satisfied so far.
  19. Whoa, why wasnt this posted in the internals? Well I really dont like it at all.... Why is the top of the tire shiny?, but the rims dull? Top of a tire should be set completely black in a spec map., maybe a light grey around the buldge to give it a more seeming depth. also, the rest of the steel is all the same, it should be a bit more subtle with slight changes around areas that are worn, example the steel should be the brightest near the top where its the cleanest, while it should have a different stregth then the painted metal of the body... Havoc did you use the layer of the mud to dull down those areas? I just really dont see alot of variety in the spec map on this, looks like just a simple greyscale conversion and a tiny touch up.

Ive released 3 new maps and have one more on its way: Map Name : Dust_Training Setting: de_dust Description: GDI and Nod battle it out on this small map, it has a nice balance of infantry and tank battles, lots of cover allow infantry to travel from one base to the other easily. This is a training map, which means a nice balance of gameplay, but doesnt have all the fancy looks and eye candy. http://titan.renbase.com/maps/C&C_Dust_Training.zip Map Name : Lightwave_Koth Setting: Lightwave Arena Description: King of the hill map where the winner is determined by points. 75 points spawn every 15 seconds on "The Hill". Only way to get there is to teleport using a random spawner that appears every 60 seconds near each base. Tiberium is your best way to collect credits to power-up your character. 1200 credit rocket soldiers have been added and have 300 health and homing ability on their rocket launchers with a increase of 50 damage. http://titan.renbase.com/maps/C&C_Lightwave_Koth.zip Map Name : Ocean_View Setting: By the ocean Description: GDI and Nod battle it out on this small map by the beach, 2 spawners have a random chance of spawning full health and armor, or 200 credits or a backpack to refill all your ammo. MRLS have a full rotating turret.   24. Both look cool, you want to unwrap it, so we can texture them? 1st send the models to me, either on MSN or upload and attach a link for me to grab them in a PM. then if they are optimized right, you can then unwrap it.
