i agree too, the vehicle colour should no change when it is stolen it just wouldn't happen in real life, pluss if you look at the stolen vehicle it would have the red out line showing it was a stolen vehicle so what is the point in making extra work where it just would not have a practical use. oh look that mammith tank is red and has a nod symbol WTF ohh wait its dead coz evey 1 seen it .... its like haveing a big neon sign saying "look at me im a n00b"

get a codec pack called "k-lite" it is 1 of the best packs out there, it has codecs for almost all formats (playback and encode/decode)

yer some good games there ... too bad there was not a full server should of been still good fun

this would be a good idea but would the dev team have the time to make 1 every other week ? and would they want to share all the info about the game prier to release ? it would be a good thing for events and such as there are lots of members that have forgot about this project by now and it might bring people back to the servers but it would be nice to see a news letter but right now i think its a bit optimistic with the Devs Juggling the project and there lives i think the nearest thing you going to get to a news letter is Twitterat the moment

ok i found out today that the map meteor is named wrong it has .bak on the end from when i was testing a redirect so if you dont wonna download that map just remove the .bak from the end folder \Documents\My Games\Unreal Tournament 3\Renegade\Published\Maps file Renegade-Meteor.ut3.bak

Hi and Welcome things have been slow lately ive seen some life on the server (MP-Gaming's slaughterhouse server) but only 1 or 2 people at a time i think a nice event or something would bring the numbers back up (Hint Hint Dev's ) if you use irc or even if you dont look at this >>>Clicky<<< you will be able to see and talk to players on the server

so the new installer works ok and renx server client will not run ? Try using the shortcut method above or use Jamnubs server client (its a beta but it should do the trick) Jam's Server Client 0.1.2 i think the problem lies with the region/language of you system as lots of people with non English (UK/US) had problems updating and using the original .exe that came with the last update this has nothing to do with me as im only a community member and had nothing to do with making or writing code for the official server client (im not a programmer)

as people have been having problems with updating Renx to 0.552 i have made this installer from my own installed copy >>>DOWNLOAD<<< installer contains : Renegade X 0.552 All new maps (including custom maps) All mutators (may be new ones on server) Editor Fix (this will also changes the main menu back to the UT3 main menu) install instructions Download from link above or any mirror that may be posted. Delete the folder "Renegade" from folder "My Documents\Unreal Tournament 3" if you already have renegade installed but could not run it Run installer DO NOT change the install directory as it is correct. Run the shortcut on your desktop and join a server. If for any reason the RenegadeX server client will not run do this: Making a shortcut of UT3.exe from where ever UT3 is installed or Copy & Paste the original UT3 shortcut, then right click it, click properties and a box will pop up go to the shortcut Tab and add this to the end : 68.168.212.226:1137 -login=Your Nick -password=Your Pass -mod=..\Renegade -solomod so it look like this : "C:\Program Files (x86)\Unreal Tournament 3\Binaries\UT3.exe" 68.168.212.226:1137 -login=Your Nick -password=Your Pass -mod=..\Renegade -solomod there must be a space after the last " in order for this to work this will open the mod and log you into Gamespy (UT3 login) and auto connect to the MP-Gaming server as this is the only 1 up that i can see (plus this server has a ranking system ) just replace the red text with your gamespy login (UT3 login) and your good to go any problems post it here

Hi and Welcome you can play UT3 and renx or any other mod with out corrupting anything ... its only when you start using the editor and save over things by mistake you will corrupt the game/mods so yer you can still play want ever game/mod when ever you like

i like the fact that they called C&C Renegade the worst C&C ever yet what MultiPlayer game or even C&C game can you think of that has had its servers up for as long as Renegade and with the amount of players still connecting. the whole point of renegade is to work together as a team and that is the games style personally i don't care if the player cams are different or if the vehicles move different (better in my opinion) or even if the the dev team change the the names from GDI / Nod to USA / Russia or earth / mars its all the same game changes must be made to bring the game to a new engine and audience .... and why would you wanna remake a game to be exactly like the old 1 ... i do believe its the C&C way to move forward (too bad EA messed it all up lately) you say its all about the X but wait do you even know what the X stands for X Factor ? are we to see Simon Cowell in game some were and if so can i shoot him ? hehehe

you use the UT3 (gamespy) login so when you enter the server you name will always be that name .... this is called ghosting it happens on all types server from irc to ut3 the only way to get around it is by either waiting for a map change or asking a Admin to kick that nick (only possible via irc on the MP slaughterhouse server) as for the vehicle bug it was in Renegade too it is a pain in the ares as you don't get your money back this thread belongs in the bug forum ... no ? any way the crash is most probably your PC playing funny buggers try updating you DirectX and graphics card and try having your sound sampling set to 16bit 48000 Hz (DVD Quality) as this helps with lots of DX9 games

well it seems to me that you had it in your head that RenegadeX was going to be exactly like Renegade when they use 2 totally different engines yes the first and third person views are strange to a renegade game coz there straight from UT3 but the vehicles wow the way the vehicles drove in Renegade was terrible ... they all seemed to drive like they pivoted in the middle (bloody terrible) the biggest part of Renegade is the amount of players on the servers with out players the game is not worth playing ... and it is the same for RenegadX its an awesome mod (yes some parts can be more Renegadeish) but after playing 30+ player games Renegade is unplayable i respect what you said but a lot of die hard Renegade fans just have it out for this mod coz it doesn't conform to the style of Renegade but that's not the Dev Teams fault as this Mod is based on a totally different game (UT3) but the Standalone(UDK) will be more in the stile of Renegade coz its built from the ground up not using UT3 as a base to build upon. i think you should do what every 1 else says just wait and see what comes next out this team coz its going to be Epic

ummm you need to install renx to C:\Users\\Documents\My Games\Unreal Tournament 3\Renegade (or were ever you "my Documents" are) or it will not work there should be two (2) servers running, the official RenegadeX server and the slaughterhouse server.

CIA ? well maybe you lot but not me im in the UK BTW there are no laws in the middle of the Atlantic (other than the islands) so technically you can steal what ever you like hahaha (its classed as piracy but not against the law as there are no laws to brake hahahaha) just dont go the the tankers country of origin or any were you can get extradited from lol any way we all up for a game next weekend ?
