  1. Windows 10 Home is my OS edition. I was in compatibility for Windows 7. I have just now verified again that I am applying the compatibility settings to the 64-bit binary and that my launcher is set to use 64-bit in settings. As previously posted, I have switched to Vista compatibility mode (no SP2 or SP3, just plain Vista) as per Sonny's request. However, I have not played enough to reasonably say that my soundbug situation has improved/completely fixed - I get the soundbug but rarely anyway. Also as reported (at least on Discord), the soundbug has been observed in standard Windows 7 environments before - it is not exclusive to Windows 10. Another thanks for all your hard work - I am sorry if I must be the bearer of bad news... But hopefully I am at least of some help. HIHIHI
  2. I am sad to report that today, with the 64-bit client running in Windows 7 compatibility mode, I got the soundbug. : ( These were the compatibility settings as verified immediately after closing the game, which I did after I verified that the soundbug had indeed occurred. Played on the new Forest V2.4. Heard the POP of the soundbug. Loaded into the main menu (since I did not have the next map downloaded), and had no sound. Loaded Cliffside in skirmish and had no sound. F5 exit, take screenshot of compatibility settings. Windows 10 Home, i5-7300HQ, Realtek audio, I believe. For what it's worth, I do get the soundbug much less often than I did on my old machine (the specs of which have been posted in the consolidated soundbug topic). Will send my launch.log to interested parties if desired.

!rec Nexus Renegade X is the better for your contribution - thank you for your many hours of hard work for us, the community! I am truly amazed by what you have done for the game. Take care of yourself! !recs, HIHIHI
  4. https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i5-8265U-vs-Intel-Core-i5-7300U/m566107vsm223355 It does seem like low CPU speed... But the benchmark site here says it's got faster single-core speed than mine (and single-core speed is pretty important for RenX)... And Intel HD Graphics 620 (which that machine looked like it had) should be adequate. I played for a while on Intel HD Graphics 520, and it worked - I just played on a lower resolution, but still ultra settings. So... No expert here... But I'd say to at least give it a try! Have fun! HIHIHI EDIT: If you do install it, let us know how it goes! : )

    RenX Memes

Yeah, Yosh has already started one. : ) We had a 2 hr game of Eyes today with no real stank rushes... : ) But good ones, Luhrian. : )
  6. Onward to the future! May you all have fun and be blessed in the coming year (and years, too...)! Long may RenX prosper, and boy, is the future looking fun for it! A thanks to all who have sacrificed of themselves to contribute to Renegade X over 2019 and the rest of its history. HIHIHI
  7. Other - includes revert. I would prefer seeing the kill log back on the left side - as to its position on the left side, I'm not sure how much it matters to me... But having it on the left makes the most sense to me. I find it more of a strain to look at it in the top right where it is now. I would like to say that some (not all) players, including myself, use the kill log for tactical information, at least sometimes. You can judge who is in which area if you know where your teammates are, and it influences your choices. So I would prefer to keep it.
  8. I hope you have all had a very merry Christmas, and will have a happy New Year! God bless you, HIHIHI : )
  9. If you have been banned from FPI (and it is not a global ban), speak to Saintpepe/Jenzuj or Goku - You can find them on the official Renegade X Discord or the EKT Discord. Also, hacking is not the only bannable offense - the rules above state that a ban is possible for many different offences, if willfully repeated time and time again after repeated warnings. It is also possible that technical issues resulting in you being affected by a ban meant for somebody else - again, contacting Saintpepe/Jenzuj or Goku on Discord is the way to fix this issue. 10. I searched for kicks under your name (if you were using another name, please let me know), and there were only a few auto-kicks for AFK. You are not banned, as far as I can tell, so I expect it to be a technical issue. If you were using a VPN (or if it thought you were using a VPN), you might be kicked automatically. You might want to contact Goku or Pepe on Discord - they are more familiar with the setup than I.
  11. @noddynod443 Navigate to this file in the Renegade X install your server is running on: UDKGame\Config\UDKRenegadeX.ini and find this line: MinPlayersForNukes=20 and change 20 to whatever number you like, such as 0. That should do it. : ) Hope this helps! HIHIHI
  12. There already is a cap to the waves - you beat it if you beat Wave 12. As to the lack of maps... The scripts weren't supposed to be released, but since they were, the one map that was mostly done was released as well so the community could test it. More maps are planned. And I agree - I really enjoy it.
  13. Like Handepsilon said, it already scales proportionally with the number of players defending. However, it is made easier with more people because one person does not have to fill all the roles at once. When you have multiple people, you can afford to have one or two reps on the bar while still having people able to fight - not so with only one defender. That is how it becomes easier with more players. EDIT: You could make it scale non-linearly... But at some point you make it more complex than it should be.
  14. Ah... One of the most beautiful and meaningful songs I know of... Smooth, uplifting, talented artists... Can't find a thing wrong with it... Except that 5:40 is too short for such music... : )
  15. Well... Were you alone? It's much harder alone. The optimal player numbers are a bit higher - it was designed for a maximum of 12 players, but really more than one.
  16. Join one of the survival servers - CT is currently hosting two, and FPI is hosting one, run by Handepsilon.
