@Madkill40 some players are already using these tools - just watch carefully... ################# The PIC / Railgun got a HS nerf. Which... doesn't help much against seasoned players since they just switch to heavy pistol instead of wasting another main gun bullet. but it can give you enough time to counter the Syd / Rave. Along with the dmg nerf (so free inf, except for the engis can't get insta killed by body hits anymore*) both nerfs were good decisions. The best suggestion to further nerf PIC / Railgun is the "charge-up" brought up by either @Gliven or @djlaptop [not 100% sure, but atm I'm too lazy to search for the topic / comment]. *given the Syd/Rav is still Recruit

that's true. the problem with this is the current vote system though. maybe a slight change of that system (how many votes are needed proportional to the current server pop...) might be the easiest solution to implement.

I guess you're referring to the devs / the core game. But as it is now @Canucck is totally right with this: ######### A few months ago people used to play more often on AOW servers, especially during low pop times as CT offered an AOW (Timed Match Server) with higher initial credits and (not 100% sure about this) also some different settings and a "grind" Marathon Server with low (or 0) initial credits. Usually people switched to Marathon at some point as the high starter creds used to ruin the matches to a certain degree. But as it is now, people are joining Marathon with a high amount of initial credits

open your taskmanager and look for a "Renegade X Launcher" task running in the background. kill the process, start the launcher again -> install the game. I'm a bit surprised to hear from that bug again thought they fixed it with the latest launcher version. and you're using the official launcher v0.8x?

Hi @iridesence, the first screenshot gives the impression that both teams are able to base-2-base rocket rush each other [at least HoN / WF, maybe the Refineries and other buildings] -> you should consider to add rock archs to the bridge entrances and maybe increase the height of the surrounding rocks. The bridge area seems to be a sniper paradise... which is not very popular among the community (in general I'd say). There are plenty of trees, but no persistent hard cover as small rocks / sandbags / bunkers. What are your plans for the open sea? Do you want to add sea mines to prevent swimming / diving snipers & SBHs? ##### If you want to get more detailed feedback, feel free to upload an alpha release here or PM me a download link (if you dont think the map is ready for a public test yet). Anyways - keep up your work! And never hesitate to ask for help, either on Forums or on Discord. /Sn4ke PS: there is already a map called CNC-Coastal (created by @Handepsilon), it's forsaken though (afaik)... might stay in a WIP state forever dunno if you want to change the mapname..

I've never researched these guys properly. love this one My baby's got a gun - live version Kraftwerk is one of the best examples that there are some German bands which are / were way ahead of their time. Though I can't really judge it myself I guess they were always extremely underrated in Germany but way more popular & appreciated across the world

maybe... X-Mas Walls is the original map with different textures, X-mas Field has the barn instead of the Silo, right? updated map section, just scroll down from the initial post. will update / comment team size & possible changes to tourney mode & server settings soon.

think it was on Discord (after a PUG) when you suggested these chokepoints. could also been somewhere on Forums.. but I'm pretty sure that you were the first player to bring up the field chokepoint idea both base entrances can be easily defended by GDI. repositioning Obelisk/AGT makes sense, but requires a lot of extra work from @TK0104 so I guess it's unlikely at the moment. ####### yh, it's a team and not a map flaw just wanted to point out that it's not *the* Nod map people like to claim. it's just like Volcano or Canyon where GDI players (on public) servers have a tendency to go "afk" since they think "crap, it's a Nod map and I can't swap teams" but that's just foretelling... you never know what'll happen. you never know when the lonely sneaker hottie destroys the HoN

@Xeon Wraith suggested choke points (on the field though) before. the problem with this is... it changes the map completely. the whole freedom tanking. if you add super tight chokepoints to GDI base.... It'll become unbalanced into the other direction (maybe). especially on public servers Outposts can be a GDI map when Nod is too busy trying to stank rush and fails to control the field with LT / arty / stank. an unspotted (or IGNORED) mammoth train (like 2-3x) to HoN or a maxed out MED push can easily make Nod rage
