Information:

Since it is the first squad tournament to be held, and this for an extended period of time, the following teams approved the increase to 13 participants:

Dragon Clan (currently 10) and Lappen (currently 11).

Thus, the Dragon Clan can designate 3 additional players and the team Lappen 2.

All other teams already have the full number of participants.

If we can't find alternatives we'll play as a 8-player-squad. I'm sorry.

TombRedux is still corrupted (wrong environment data). As long as it's not fixed, we have to remove the map from the tourney map pool

Important Notice:

Live Stream of Squad War :

Only Interval has the permission to Stream in Spec. Mode with a delay of 300s.

When other ppl wants to stream please tell us in advance your channel (send me, Sn4ke or Obelisk over discord) and it would be nice and relevant that you use a time delay too (tell us the delay time too.). We want to avoid that anyone has a advantage of Streams, thx.

So ppl have the choice to choose a channel and the Tournament Management can check too,  if everything goes the right way.

whats the matter? exdee has only played one round so far. your team is the only one with two active (rather: completed) rounds atm..

the only column which is not exact is the "Match W-L-T", there should be 1 point / map each, but it's just a screenshot from a tourney site (https://challonge.com)

The table is correct

exdee played one game , still 3 remaining, 1 Match won, Match endet in a 3.Set win , no set ties and 3 points.

The only thing what I cant enter in this is the points of each map, so (ranK) first place and so on is not shown in the complete way.

Let's change the topic from maths / logic to RSW again

First of all - a shout-out & thank-you to all the participating players & teams. Without you this event would not be possible at all.

[representing their teams, I'll just poke the captains here:] @Hakase | @boxes | @Madkill40 | @ObeliskTheTormentor

We're very happy that the RSW is actually happening! The current event is our very first try - but nevertheless I want to apologize for any inconvenience caused by us (organisation team) or anyone else. We can only learn from the past (and our mistakes), so there shall be changes to the organisation process in the future (focusing on communication / announcements).

Though the first tourney is still in the works, we're already planning & organising future events in the background (note: planning at the current stage means a lot of debating, communicating with other people which takes it's time).

About a week ago, we started a small survey and as all teams now have at least completed one round (played one match), more participants (and also players who did NOT sign up) will be questioned soon. When the survey is completed and the results are discussed & analysed we'll probably start a public survey / poll about future events to get even more feedback. We're trying to organise this for the whole community after all. If you have any suggestions - feel free to post them in the RSW feedback topic or PM @SilentKnight or @ObeliskTheTormentor or me on Forums or Discord.

My personal opinion: we could do a rematch with different set of players, if we had time. Ideally, strongest team should win.

With current organization of teams its not possible - CHEMS missed Tony and LAPPEN had uneligible player, I doubt we can organize proper match again in this tournament time.

In regard to exploits:

The Renegade X Squad Wars is a small league / tourney, hence it'll be competitive. Exploiting bugs / glitches will not be tolerated.

To give some examples*:

• hiding in meshes (textures)
• placing deployable items in textures
• using out of map spots
• base-to-base
• wall glitches (e.g. shooting through building walls / hard glass)
• accessing spots which are not intended from map design
• vehicle physics abuse (e.g. stealth tank climbing steep rocks)
• vehicles on rooftops etc.
• infantry wall hop (which is possible on some maps)

* this list is not comprehensive!

Play hard, but play fair.

Vehicle surfing & speedboosting is allowed.

If you think that someone exploited a glitch or used a somehow unfair mechanic, please report to the organiser team.
A neutral mod (who does not participate in the tourney) will review the server demo files.

In regard to behavior:

We want to have a peaceful & friendly atmosphere on chat (pre-game). If you are not the team captain there is no reason to use the global chat during actual matches. If you have a problem please let your team captain sort things out. Be nice & respectful towards other players on global chat / forums / Discord.

We also advise to refrain from rage-quitting.

Disrespecting the above rules may result in a ban from the tourney for the individual player and a loss of points for the team.
