I don't really have a problem with an outdated SDK since there are no big changes made. 

 

But an updated version would be nice :)

 

By the way: Update Training Yard package or remove it! Every time I have to copy the latest version package over to my SDK because there is a shitty 5.004 package included :(

 

OR remove custom map packages because they're all private assets from different mappers. Only official packages from official maps should be added (Canyon, Complex, Islands, Under etc.)

Hey TK.  I tried that out -> adding the renx_game.u file from the game into my SDK UDKGAME -> Scripts folder however I don't see anything new :S

No rebuilding scripts makes all .uc files into an .u file (it builds the source code). It should work with overwriting the file

It asks to check/update scripts 'Yes' gets you this. 'No' gets you into the editor.

Both 32 and 64 bit's

Don't worry about that. If you just build them and it gives a warning, it's no big deal. Especially this missing .uc is something you can ignore I guess

The 'Development\Src\RenegadeX\' folder is empty in the new SDK and wasn't in the previous SDK

hi which .exe do I open for the editor? so far every .exe in the new SDK crashes on start up.  I get the annoying "built on udk... blah blah blah" message and then I am forced to close program.  

EDIT:  the same with my older version 2016 it crashes whenever I try to open a map

EDIT2: Starteditor.bat didn't work aswel..  got "Renegade X has stopped working"  however it previously asked  to compile scripts which I hit both yes and no and it did not work.

Does he crash at the moment when he is trying to load 'FoliageBrushSphereMaterial'?

no it was at MapTemplateIndex.  I also got the unknown.uc file extension that is missing and everytime I start up Starteditor.bat It keeps asking to compile.   does having two editors on my computer effect this? the oldest one - RenegadeX SDK 28-09-2016 - runs off steam every time ive noticed I get nothing related to steam from this new SDK..

@Luhrian I had a bit of trouble following those tutorials it didn't quite work :S anyways I found a potential solution!

   what I did was in my 'binaries' folder I double clicked UDKFrontend.exe and brought me to some sort of a setup and at the top I clicked 'Editor' which then brought me to the new SDK.  seems like too much though not sure :S

Make sure to find your UnrealEdCSharp.dll and unblock it. You can compile scripts using UnrealFrontend.exe, which is located in the binaries. However, it will never stop asking for you to compile scripts. You must say no every time.

Do not run as administrator.

My editor start script looks like this.

Binaries\Win32\UDK.exe editor -log
