  1. Renegade takes place in the Tiberium universe, nod (haha see what i die there?) in Red Alert. There is no comparrison, IT would be a completely different game then. I agree that dropping equipment ruines the classes idea. But can perhaps be implemented in another gamemode? That would be cool, kill someone and take their equipment. But this works if the classes are all free But on topic: Flame tank is fine as it is, could use some downgrades but i think that the mammoth should be looked at first.
  2. Attack through a different way? If one option doesn't work try another? Until you push through or get pushed back
  3. EVA did shout out a message that the Orca is invalid and therefore should be destroyed. Perhaps they didn't update it yet? It does work brilliant for the other maps
  4. Can it be that this causes ALL the orca's to be destroyed? Just crashed out of a match (no warning, screen froze and i was back at my desktop, can't remember which server ) but in Whiteout and Walls the orca just got destroyed the moment it left the WF
  5. Double post but i've tried it out I dont know if its coincidental but i played several games without Steam on. When i turned it on the game crashed when the last building exploded. (i was engineer and was trying to repair the building, then it exploded and my game crashed) So with Steam i wasn't even able to play 1 full match..
  6. VOIP is good but you should be able to mute people, so the annoying 'kid' who keeps screaming can be muted.. Problem solved!
  7. The old man only looks harmless How did they manage to get that tank on top of eachother? Would be an epic battle tank lol
  8. Today i had several crashes ingame, in some cases it send my back to the main menu. When i tried to reconnect nothing happened, i could smash the join button all i wanted but nothing.. I also got the "UDK" error but mostly i get kicked out of the server (and cant rejoin for awhile) Will play without Steam next time, to see if the crashes still occur!
  9. On Field it is pretty good at breaking a siege. There were like 5 mammoths at the front door, so i got a Ftank and took out 2 mammy's before my Ftank got destroyed.. taking a third out with c4 Basically ending their siege. I must add that they were all clustered, so they weren't able to drive away from me So i agree that the Ftanks are fine, they might be powerful but kinda useless on open fields due to their short range..
  10. Isnt there already an EVA message? Or is it only when the Tech building gets captured?
  11. You regret that when a meteorite hits the earth and an unknown substance spreads! That's all i ask for, just something.. only if it lasts like 5 seconds or so would be better then nothing at all. Its just that something interferes with the stealth thingy, making it appear abit when it hits something/someone
  12. I managed to put timed c4 on them, so we could follow those around and shoot at that But imo i think it add to the realism, atleast add some bloodmarks on it then
  13. I actually never noticed this? Is there a killzone? I know this was the case in the old Renegade but never had this problem so far? Only thing i see is that vehicles just drive off somewhere and stay there until the driver comes.
  14. Today 2 guys drove around the GDI base in Stanks, not really showing where they are but bumping into people and killing them. After a hit you know that they are there somewhere but you cant really see them.. So my suggestion is this: When a stealth tank hits enemy infantry, it shows up. Then it can't be used to just hit people and drive off.. It also cant be constantly used to drive onto a beacon killing the tech's who are trying to disarm it, since you show up when you hit people.(it can be used for that but people see you) That is my feedback, anyone disagrees or agrees with it?
  15. Played some time today and when i 'targeted' the silo it showed up red or green. (at least i think it was red and green, white for neutral ) So it does show who controls it! Or is that something only i see?
  16. Yay for double post! But i got a screenshot for what i meant: and So it isn't Havoc's fault, it also doesn't come from using the sniper rifle.. I honestly dont know how i did it, somewhere between 3rd person and 1st person something went wrong i think It looks like he's holding invisible mines!
  17. Hello! I thought it might be interesting to see how some games progress. So if you think "thats freaking awesome" make a screenshot and post about it here! I'll start with this: Today Nod nearly wiped GDI out on whiteout. To start: Nod destroyed GDI's WP and Ref and pretty fast but GDI destroyed Nod's Ref. I personally thought it was over.. No vehicles and $ isn't positive for war.. So i thought that Nod would destroy us with their vehicles, however we managed to deflect some of their waves/rushes and apparently their credits ran out. When Nod destroyed GDI's power plant, you guessed it, someone from GDI destroyed their airstrip. Resulting in GDI's only building being the Barracks while Nod had to do it with their PP. After alot of fun times, just messing with them and fighting over the Silo, we got together to wipe them out: Someone got abit bored while regrouping: Once we had like 8 Gunners we went uphil to take out the PP: I actually dont have screenshots from what happened then because it all happened way too fast.. within seconds the PP got destroyed. It was a fun match, i believe that it took more then 2 hours to complete but it was worth it! GDI won this match because of teamwork! (Not saying Nod didn't use teamwork ) If someone else was also in this match, lemme know what you think? From GDI's point of view it was awesome. However Nod did have the upperhand for awhile, so it should have been fun for them aswel Cheers, ARC_trooper Ps: Don't know if there's a topic like this already?
  18. That is indeed annoying, hardly can leave the base without getting shot. I think that snipers shouldn't do as much damage as now but i think it would be cool that snipers can shoot through the cockpit and kill the pilot. (only the best sniper-rifles of course, others aren't powerful enough to penetrate the window) Would add more difficulty for snipers On another note: What about a new class? Flak trooper? When pressing the button for the rocketguy you can choose between a rocket and flak? While the flak does more damage towards air units the rocket does more towards ground ones? (but both can be used against air/ground)
  19. I only came here to say that i don't think the "getting shot in a vehicle while being a spy" is a bug.. Unless you're in a vehicle stolen from the other team and you still get shot.. Well if that's the case then ignore me Otherwise it would be abit more normal to get shot at
  20. The idea of A-rodge sounds interesting however i suggest only "Tier I" equipment once the HoN/barracks and airstrip/WF get destroyed. In other words, you still have the rocket trooper and officer guy. (or maybe 1-2 more), the humvee/medium tank and for Nod perhaps the bugee/light tank and flame tank? (or no tanks and only bugee/humvee and apc) That way you severely damage the enemy but not in a way that they cant do anything anymore, they can still fight abit
  21. I was playing as Havoc and while using the scope i suddenly saw a new set of arms! Forgot to make a screenshot but will do that next time i see it It happened when i used the scope and went to 3rd person view, suddenly there were 2 arms holding an invisible gun behind Havoc. Like i said, once i get it again i'll post a screenshot (if that shows it) Until now only had it as havoc, havent tried the other sniper classes yet though

  23. I can agree that the timelimt could perhaps be halved or something, but not removed. Not everyone is experienced and does that, so it should 'help' them with their newness
  24. Would be cool to have an extra tunnel ending up on the other side of the waterfall? Between the bunkers or something like that, with 1 path to GDI and one path to Nod, so it will be easily defensible but still add another way out.
  25. Would be cool if the camera could move away from it abit, giving a clearer view of what you're firing at
