Will servers remember player points and credits now if they leave and rejoin?

There is a bug where if a person who plants a C4 dies before the C4 explodes, they don't get credit for any kills from that C4. Any enemy who gets killed by it will appear to have committed suicide.

It really sucks when NA can't get both a full marathon and a full AOW. Hope people come back for the patch.

Silos decrease the importance of the refinery. A team in control of the field and silo(s) won't really be affected by losing their ref. In original Ren without silo the team without a ref will eventually bleed dry and lose.

I've seen this happen from GDI's perspective and also when I was an SBH.

You don't have to go over the bridge with the barricade to get into the GDI base by BAR. If you are on the outside of the GDI base, looking at the BAR, you can climb the rocks to the left of the bridge and then drop down into the river and swim to the side of the bar. Not sure if it is a map glitch, but it definitely works. Also, on WALLS there is a map glitch that allows NOD to walk up the map to get into the GDI base instead of having to go through the main entrance or the tunnel. Wrong map. You're thinking of Gold Rush. On Field, as far as I know there's no way for Nod to hop behind the bar, although GDI players can walk up the cliff above the back of bar which is definitely a map glitch (not gamebreaking or abuseable though).

So what is the point of vehicle sprint? Wouldn't you always want it on? Holding the shift key all the time makes my pinky sore.

Is there also a cooldown for vehicle sprint?

Will the patch remove the 40 player limit?

I remember there was a crate that gave you a vehicle-stealing gun. You'd fire it at an enemy vehicle and the people inside would die so you could steal it.

Flanking damage isn't in the game.

No one knows, better abuse the glitches while we still can.

I personally don't think it's fair for small size games to net you the same amount of point as larger games. There's a lot of room for abuse too. For example, you could buy a flame tank and have an enemy be a hotwire. This could net you both an infinite amount of points as long as you put a brick on your keyboards.

Was there a private beta for the patch?

Well that was my guess at first but I don't think the leaderboard is capable of determining that. It seems like the topic creator was removed because he had a suspiciously low number of kills. Unless a mod can come here and say they have proof this guy was farming bots, I'm gonna wonder why they decided to remove his name. viewtopic.php?f=13&t=73005

You didn't change your name or get banned on Steam or anything? I don't think it's fair if they removed you without definitive proof you did anything wrong.

That's probably only because of the SBH nuking and most maps have no defenses, especially Islands and Walls which are voted very often. On Field GDI still wins over 3/4 games, this speaks something about the vehicle balance.

I liked how the original Renegade ladder that never got implemented did it. It took into account game length and size, how long you were in the game for, and your points. If you had a ton of points in a marathon game you would get a shitload of ladder points. Only bad thing is if you were on the losing team you would lose ladder points, that should be removed.

In Ren X, the mammy is the new med. Though I can't be certain if the med was actually nerfed or not.

I want to believe the only reason for the low player count is because of the bugs.

This seems like a server modification. I doubt it would be official, it's really not the way the game is meant to be played.
